Thank you for this video. I was very scared to get this done myself having watched another video before your video and it was very intimidating now I could see that you can just replace the whole thing and not start cutting stuff apart just to replace the bearing assembly so thank you for this video man. It really helped out.
Well done and informative. I have a couple of questions; what year is your JK and are the part no.'s the same for the left and right axles? I have a JK 2009

Nice! Glad it helped!
You pressed the axle bearing race in with the nuts without the e brake assy?
I noticed that too, great vid otherwise but that would have helpful to see how he swapped it.
Thanks man. I’m doing this tomorrow. I have the axle assembly, and the emergency brake assembly. I tried buying some time. Wish me luck.
Good luck sir!

Mine is a 2014, same part number left to right, and the parts vary depending on the trim: sport, Sahara, rubicon, etc.
@@CliffsHowTo thank you for the feedback, it is much appreciated.
You don't even have to remove the diff cover to do all that? 2000s are wild.
Nope, no c clips. The axle is held in by the 4 bolts at the end of the shaft.
Does the new axle come with a new race ? Didn’t see you install one after taking old on out
Yes. It’s all loaded onto the axle.
Great video! I need to replace the seal in my 2018 JKU. What slide hammer is that?
Harbor freight
Hello, will the bridge from jl to jk be suitable?
I don’t understand the question. Sorry.
Well done
You could have done the assembly a lot easier
Yeah? Let everyone else know how here in the comments!
