I was very scared to get this done myself having watched another video before your video and it was very intimidating now I could see that you can just replace the whole thing and not start cutting stuff apart just to replace the bearing assembly so thank you for this video man. You don't even have to remove the diff cover to do all that? 2000s are wild.

Nope, no c clips. The axle is held in by the 4 bolts at the end of the shaft.

Well done and informative. I have a couple of questions; what year is your JK and are the part no.'s the same for the left and right axles? I have a JK 2009

Mine is a 2014, same part number left to right, and the parts vary depending on the trim: sport, Sahara, rubicon, etc.

Yes. It’s all loaded onto the axle.
