- WUSA9 has obtained new information about the release of a man accused of firing 26 shots from an AR-15 rifle into a DC Street.
I'm surprised the judge didn't give him the gun back.
That judge should be removed from the bench. Completely unacceptable.

If the government can prove its case quickly then hold a bench trial and let the judge rule on holding the person in jail based on the evidence, until they get a jury trial and if they want to postpone then they can postpone while in jail

I'm what some would call "Derangedly Pro-2A and 5A," but the arrest was correct. AND he should have a respectable bond for it. If he'd put all of the rounds on target I'd not care. But he put those all over. He wasn't protecting his property when he was just spraying rounds all over his neighborhood. He was endangering EVERYONE in line with his barrel.
Also, why was he released while Enrique Tario was held without bail and prosecuted? Forwhat, you might ask. Well, for having a weapon without permission and standard capacity magazines in DC. This doesn't seem like the law is being equally enforced based in "Current-Year social sentiment."

How could this judge be so ignorant? There was no "presumption" of what he is accused of, firing a weapon on a public street. The video is VERY EXPLICIT! And you wonder why we have a problem with so many kids, some children, murdering people, robbing people, beating people and numerous other illegal things. It's because of judges like this one.

You can not outweigh justification based on facts with irrational decision making based on emotions. This judge agreed that the justification and legal rationale to hold this suspect was needed and would protect the community at large, but due to the defense attorney's plea negated all of that and let him go. The defense will say and do anything to help their clients, that's their job. The judge needs to remain impartial and follow their duties of protecting the public.

Well, he is free free. Being on home arrest and having an ankle monitor doesn't prevent him from going outside, it just has possible consequences if he does. Just like restraining orders haven't stopped women being murdered by the people that were given them.

I want to know why he shot at that car. You can see it turning out of the ally next to the house right at the start. What were the circumstances that lead to this? There HAS to be some logical thinking SOMEWHERE in this, and the only thing i can think of, is that car turning out from the side of the house. What just took place before the shooting?
