For the oil leaks did you remember to plug the pcv passage between the intake port and the valve cover as you can overpressurize the oil seals if you don't do that then you will want to add a crankcase breather port and vent it to atmosphere or to the supercharger inlet side (this is the best option)... the pcv valve is in the cover next to your fuel injector.
They sell throttle linkage plates for governor deleted predator 212's using the factory style butterfly carbs and the shape of that diesel looks more or less the same, could probably work with a little modification and some heavier valve springs! Not sure that rod and flywheel would last past 4-5K rpm though... Also, while just adding more fuel without more air to a diesel will increase power to an extent, the richer mixture also makes EGT's skyrocket and is a lot more inefficient since diesels inherently need to run much leaner than gas engines (16:1+ AFR), add the supercharger in the mix, it might be trouble for your exhaust valve down the line! Still the sickest thing i've seen for a while, seems like a total blast.
@@JackButlerVideos I randomly think about getting a guitar, learning guitar, setting up an unbalanced washer, and doing a cover to the Catdog theme song. Or something similar.
I have a diesel powered mini bike with a straight pipe and is about to get a turbo you can also get more power by taking the spring for the throttle and zip tying it
These chinese diesels run stupid high compression so they work pretty much everywhere without glow plugs. Diesel 4x4s have always been popular here (Australia) even small ones with 2L 4 bangers. Pre 2000s 4x4 and diesel utes were often NA. A common mod for people rebuilding these motors with a turbo is lowering the compression from 22:1 to like 18:1 or 20:1 they tend to get more out of any boost you feed it that way. I wonder if you could make a thicker head gasket or machine a bit off the top of the head to give you less compression? You could just spray a lean mixture of methanol and/or nitro down it's face if lean enough it shouldn't be able to detonate. I know a few people feed a bit of propane into the intake for extra fuel and power.
believe timing of injection on these is controlled by shims between pump and the engine body. this alters when / how much the cam activates things. Not sure about volume of what is injecting like you experimented with here. Ill be working on my 10hp diesel KLR this summer and start using it more now that life is changing for me (retirement)
Yo so I think it was boosted bois who did a turbo shopping cart, and they found on single piston engines, if it's non 2 stroke, you it's not taking boost every stroke so it's good to have a tube 2 times the volume of the bore to give the boost somewhere to go on every other power stroke because you can't force boost in on the second power stroke due to there only being 1 piston so. At least that worked on there turbo build
It's like you just figured out what a 4 stroke is. Intake, compression, power and exhaust stroke. You're only drawing in fuel and air during 1 of those strokes on a single cylinder engine.
@@RC_Trailblazers tracking. Why did you feel like this input was helpful in anyway? Lmao you said literally nothing in 20 words. Everyone knows what a 2 stroke/4 stroke is. I drive a supercharged Pontiac and I love supercharged builds. Fook off and pretend you know something in someone else's mini bike chat chain. Your not special
I have one, I've done a ton of tinkering and the only real way to get alot more fuel is to make a bigger plunger for the pump. I went 1mm over on mine and it's way too much 😂 Also you can advance the csm timing by modifying the gear pressed on the crank.
please record your videos in landscape 😭
Exactly.
For the love of Pete!

Needs a Comet green spring on the tightest position on that driven pulley
You’re the first person I’ve seen to take such an interesting deep dive. Awesome sauce.
Thank you for this. Just ordered this engine, and was wondering about that arm. How did you go about electric start?? Thanks for the video!!
Hey man! Im intersted to turbocharge or supercharge a monocylinder too. Can you make a video of how you do this thing run?
You need to add some timing to it so that's advancing the cam gear
@7:08
That new idle literally sounds like music. Has a great beat to it, like an action movie, or big situation in a videogame.
I thought the same! Reminds me of that old viral washer dryer beat video
@@JackButlerVideos
YESSSSS.
I frequently think about unbalanced machines laying down a beat.
Like to the theme of Catdog.

Seems you took that spring out and replaced with a spring behind I’m guessing
You need much more rpm your supercharger, so you need smaller pulley in charger, and bigger in motor
Lowering the pop pressure isn't what you want. I would try to see if the barrel and plunger from a 500cc will fit in your pump.

That injector and pump looks alot like a lister petter ac1 diesel engine.

how much power does the turbo add? or is it a supercharger?
Did you ever get the alternator on there?
Electric fuel pump? Bypass
that thing is terrifying
How did you mount the pulley i want to add one to my golf cart on my 212 torque converter drive
I suggest to add the turbo before the stupidcharger

make it supercharger + turbo
Ditch the Supercharger I'm in for a turbo build... and it would be nice if you somehow enlarged your recording. "Landscape" mode maybe?
Cool stuff bro 👍
Who is going to be the first to make a Cummins V-8 diesel motorcycle a la Boss Hoss.
