i was lucky to be given 80 steam packs and 100 radaway, wepons that are for lvl 50 at the time i was 15 and now at 31 i still can't hahaha, i was trying to tell him i was full but at the time i didn't know you can cary over the limit, i figure out later hahaha, he/she was realy help full i still have them and use them sperily.
I’ll never forget playing my first week a high level joined my team and built my buddy and I a boxing ring at my base and we all boxed and had a great time . I still have the guy in my friends list and even played destiny a couple times together 💯
White Springs, Foundation, Fort Atlas, Vault 76, etc are all free travel locations. I just travel to one of those first then travel to the next place saving caps.
@@HrKCA I have 1300hrs in FO76 AND NEVER NOTICED SOME LOCATIONS ARE FREE TO TRAVEL TO! WTH?! Also from google In Fallout 76, the player character can fast travel for free to their C.A.M.P, a friend, a party member, or the C.A.M.P. of a party member, along with the following default locations: Vault 76, Foundation, the Crater, the Whitespring Resort, Fort Atlas, the Rusty Pick, and The Rose Room
This game is like. I'm a level 40. Anyone who visits my base I always try to give them SOMETHING. Frag Grenades or just any random thing I have extra on hand. Sometimes they take sometimes they don't. Some, however, they uno reversi and buy the pre war money in my vendor. I like playing music for my guests. And sometimes they like dancing! It's almost like the game is about who can be the NICEST player you've ever met. Its... so beautiful. I hate saying it but even with one person greifing, this is still the best damn community I've met. It didn't take away from my experience. It was like I knew he was just one bad egg amongst eleven gold.
My first few minutes I was looking at some guys Uber camp, he came over and we chatted, he just dumps a ton of 3star armor and guns in front of me and a ton of water and rad x. He showed me how to use vendors and walked me through some events. Was super cool and got me hooked. Now I try to be the coolest vault dweller I can, I love giving stuff away and I’m only like level 32. Can’t wait to get my big egalitarian CAMP going. I just have to figure out the CAMP stuff lol
It's the concept of the game what brings out the best off the players in Fallout. There's no incentive or point in being aggressive or mean in Fallout76, but find those same players in other game and it'll be a completely different story.
@@dm2338 I just hit level 50 the other day and right before I did a high level player dropped me so cool level 50 armor and weapons and a few fusion cores for my power armor, I gave him food and beer in return and we went our separate ways It's awesome running into cool people.
Joined a team with a lvl 600 dude. He was selling all his plans for 10 caps each. I only bought like a handful of things. He then came to the base and dropped me a harness that gives 2 Per and 1 Str or something. Sooo nice.
I'm only level 140 and I sell the vast majority of my plans for either free or like 10 caps. Even good rolled legendaries I typically sell for less than 1000 caps. I'd rather sell them to someone that can use them for a good price than have them sit in my vendor for months.
I had a guy do the same thing! He visited my base, and dropped me a full set of level 40 power armor and a few cores. (I was level 38 at the time) He bought all my stuff from my vendor, waved and vanished. Out of the 35+ years of gaming, I have never seen a community this nice.
New Power Armor users: If you do have atoms from completing challenges and it's available in the atom shop, it is worth buying the fusion core recharger. As long as you do not totally expend your fusion cores, you can save them, put them into the recharger, wait a bit and you have full fusion cores. I literally have so many that I've picked up and recharged that I sell them in my vendor. I want to say it's 700 atoms to buy and, doing challenges that pay 20-80 atoms, it should be easy to get.
@@TheManiacNathan how does crafting a laser gatling help to recharge your fusion cores? I know that when you kill an enemy they drop the ammo you used to kill them or the ammo of the gun you are holding but I haven't seem enemies drop the ammo to a laser gatling which should be fusion cores?
@RossMalagarie I would not bother recharging fuson cores. Enemies rarely drop fusion cores, but daily Ops and expedition drops their as rewards if your Weapon users them, and that includes ultra variants. All I would do is try to avoid reloading and having half spent fusion cores. Do not forget Power user It doubles the ammo
@TheManiacNathan thanks for the info but id rather stack and recharge cores and cell to players any over the 8 i keep on me and the 20 i keep in my stash. That way i don't have to do specific missions/locations to get them as they run out. I do use the perk card that doubles fusion core use so double power armor time and double fusion core ammo in guns. Thanks again.
I see comments like this all the time the only thing a high level player ever did for me was give me stimpaks thinking they were way less common a day later and I have hundreds I can't even give these things away
New fallout player here…. Just want to point out that I didn’t realize the little paper bag was even a thing. Also, I was terrified the first time I saw a player running around in power armor. I feared for my life.
I didn't know either so I just used weapons that I can craft so when the durability is up I just scrap the weapon and make another. Because of leveling up the new weapons I make turn out better
My mom is in her 70s. She just started playing and I'm helping her out here and there without trying to overload her with info. Completely didn't realize she didn't know how to repair without a repair kit and she used all hers up and started building new armor every time one broke. I noticed she wasn't wearing the legendary armor I gave her and asked why. She told me she couldn't fix it. 😑 I failed. She knows now.
I’ve played back in 2020 but recently picked it back up again and I still do this. I also accidentally jump instead of hitting critical hit in vats so I’ll be in the middle of a fight jumping and popping stimpaks like an idiot 🤦♀️
@@lelwyn same, jumping trying to hit that crit while shoot a Fixer and occasionally stimpaking by accident while trying to change guns and I have been playing for about 1yr after I got it "free" on PSN for PS+ and currently have 1300hrs so don't feel bad.
Ok, so a couple things to expand upon. The biggest one: Super Duper is Luck card that has 30% chance of duplicating anything you craft, this stacks with with Ammo Smith but it works for everything including chems, stimpacks, guns. Wanna save caps while fast traveling? It's not just your camp that is free to travel to, other locations are: Crater-north side, Foundation-south side, Whitespring in the middle, "The Rusty Pick" in the Ash Heap, Vault 76, etc. and some events. Ammo is contextual now, so you will get more ammo for the gun you are using. BE AWARE THERE IS AOE LOOT function that lets you loot all bodies in an area(on PC it's default "R" ,sometimes bugs out and it's grayed out, look away from the corpse and then back keep pressing R and it will work) always do this to make sure you get your ammo, especially in events. ALWAYS join the public group for the event you are doing since the loot is personal so you get the loot of the bodies your teammates down. Look for high level players shops, we generally play a lot and will have cheap stuff in our shops. I got everything unlocked in my base, so you will find coffee, food, drinks and junk material in containers around the camp.
And since mutated party packs and gifts also give ammo, make sure you have the gun equipped you want ammo for before opening them. Easy way to stock up on ammo you might have been short on for an alternate weapon.
Another cool thing you can do to earn 1,000+ caps a day is if you can find a way to get your hands on a marine tactical helmet plan. Crafting them, only cost 1 glass, 1 plastic, and 3 rubber. You can buy bulks of these material for cheap caps (if you include charisma perk cards and items) and mass produce them to sell to npc vendors. Been playing this game since Beta and am level 500 and I still do this just to earn fast caps since they sell from between 21-31 max per helmet.
what I do is just do normal stuff and always loot all enemies and sell all guns and armor you will not use until the daily vender cap limit of 1400 caps is empty, then scrap guns and armor after to learn mods. That way you don't waste time crafting and selling you can just do regular missions, dailies, side mission, main missions, expeditions, events and first take all the venders caps, then scrap, then go to every NPC vender and buy any blue prints you want and you will notice some not all of the caps you paid for the items will go back into their "wallet" allowing you to sell them more guns and armor again. You may want to check real players venders first as they usually sell blue prints cheaper and a blue print is better than an item as you can craft and sell that item from a blue print.
@@RossMalagarie you can do this, however it's alot more tedious versus you just buy the material, mass craft all at once and just mass sell most of the helmets in about 5 to 10 minutes max.
I drank old vintage moonshine and blacked out and woke up in the bottom right corner of the map and suddenly awoke to a scorched beast thing that flys and was just farmed by it hahaha. Been a fan of fall out for a while just never have the time due ti being a dad and having priorities and responsibilities. But i enjoy the cinten because its helpful when i can get online. ❤
I've only been playing for about 5 days and I've found Soups to be very helpful as they fill Hunger and Thirst. Also if you are in a group, you can fast travel to your group members' camps for free. If there are multiple groups, you can join a group and FT to their camps, then switch groups and FT to those camps. This often can also help save some caps.
Real tip for a beginner...don't repair anything. When something breaks toss it or scrap it. Everything drops weapons and ammo. Repairing anything before you hit level 50 and get a weapon you want to run with for the long term is a waste of resources. There is zero reason to repair a level 20 10mm, for example, as you'll get another level 20 10mm and once you level up to 30, you'll find a level 30 10mm on some enemy. 10mm is just an example it goes for every weapon. Some legendaries will be a different story as they can carry you through lower levels to 50 but those are few and far between and the likelihood you get one is next to zero. Armor the same idea applies.
It''s a fun way to play and you really dont need the damage perks till later if you keep up with weapon levels. Use the perk cards for the 90% junk 90% med 90% food weight reductions!
@tornicade there are a few weapons that only go up to 45. Handmade is an example. But yeah once you hit 50 and find a level 50 replacement weapon/armor, script those lower level legendaries. Or give them to friends who are lower level or hold on to them if you feel you'll ever start a new character and transfer them over. Or find a random lower level player to give it to. Now if you have a level 40 godroll Fixer, for example, you'll want to hold on to that for quite a while til you get a level 50 replacement. But unfortunately the vast majority of armor/weapons you'll get until you hit level 50 are interchangeable disposable items.
My biggest gripe about repairs is ballistic fiber. There seems to be no way around about repairing inexpensive armor. Leather armor and what armor should take no exotic material to repair. This is extremely frustrating
8:05, to add on to this, you can also fast travel to your Team Members’ Camps as well as straight to your team member for free. Search around the area you want to go and see if anyone or their camp is nearby, then check for their name on the Public Teams in the social menu. If they are, just join the team and fast travel to them
I hate clunking around in power armor. I had marine armor, but upgraded to secret service armor. For radiation protection, I have Chinese Stealth Armor.
Great tips and video. Here is my feedback: - There is two ways to reduce damage in the game, Damage Resistance (DR) and Damage Mitigation(%). Power Armor on top of the DR offers I believe 7% damage Mitigation per piece. Therefore, It is quite useful when enemies can pierce through armor - When crafting Stimpacks make sure to equip the chemist perk. This will doulble the amount. 2 Stimpacks, 4 Diluted Stimpacks or 6 Diffused Stimpacks. It gets to the point where you have more stimpacks that you can use I have over 1000 and I am often placing and giving to users Keep up the good work and enjoying the game
1300hrs in and I have never crafted a stimpak. I sell them and try to keep 20 on myself for boss fights/events/dailes and try to only keep about 150 in stash but thanks for the info.
Repair kits are an emergency use item to ONLY be used IN A GUN FIGHT. Work benches are for before and after gun fights, before and after getting to your base/NPC vender. repair kits are for mid fight gun repairs so you can finish the fight. The reason is if your gun breaks mid fight you need it to finish the fight then use an instant repair kit. Use a work bench to repair armor and guns after the fight and before leaving your base.
The fact they "buffed" the coop benefits so much, I feel like they should of buffed up the solo play more too in return. Maybe give a perk card where solo lets you take your Camp companion out with you when you adventure if you have one or something like that or even summons Dogmeat. Just something to give solo players a little extra.
I agree I think they should focus more on actual solo play a lot of people team up just for the benefit and I don't think that encourages any making of friends or whatever their point of focusing on co-op so hard is and I think solo play should be encouraged as well, as that's what a lot people want as well
I play solo and only play with a group for boss fights, events, and dailies. There is a solo perk card called Lone Wanderer, which boosts AP regen and damage reduction. But I never use it because even though I play solo I instantly join a casual team for the 4x intelligence boost, (4 points in intelligence should be 8% more xp since every point in intelligence is supposed to be 2% boost), that and a base of 15 intelligence and buffs it helps to level much faster. I didn't learn this UNTIL AFTER MY FIRST 1000HRS PLAYING! Also I will get the perk card that give 2x intelligence points per teammate so 8 points extra in intelligence should be 16% more XP when in a full 4 person team after fully bonded which takes about what a half hour? Pluse my base 15 points in intelligence which should be about 30% plus 16% so with no buffs should be about 46% extra XP from running in a casual team that I still don't do anyting with so I get to solo and still get a huge XP buff.
From level 50 to 100 some upgrades a will recommend are: 1-Learn how and where to throw Nukes the preparation process of throwing Nukes is a way I personally get free advance repair kits and a few caps, 2- Secondary builds people repair cheaper sell at higher value and mod your weapons as much as you like and last but not least 3- the chinese stealth armor is easily the best replacement for your hazmat suit
Worth noting healing salve is so easy to farm up for easy heals early on. 1 soot flower, 1 blood leaf and 1 boiled water. Add chemist and green thumb and you’ll get 4 salve per 1 soot/blood leaf.
whitespring resort is free to fast travel to. list of free fast travel locations: - your camp - your survival tent (if applicable, it’s a fallout 1st feature) - vault 76 - the rusty pick (legendary scrip vendor) - nuka world on tour - whitespring resort (north icon) - whitespring resort (east icon) - fort atlas - crater - foundation use those as bridges to get to nearby areas so cut down on caps
I'm a new player so I'm not sure if this is a good tip or not but I took an Int perk (I think it's called Chemist) and it doubles the number of chems you craft so when I dilute stimpacks I get 4 of them at a time
For the last point, I have always been a solo player but I recognized the importance of playing in a casual group for xp gains. The issue I have been seeing is being a new level 50 character, I can't get people to stay in the group so I tend to be in a casual group all by myself for most of my playtime. I would see another group, bounce into their group and within 20-30 minutes I am by myself again. So I run solo yet again. That is life.
Sometimes newbies get kicked from teams to let friends join; many are chatting in group chats so is planned. I try to tell people in my team what's going on before I remove them.
3:02 I recommend using both Chemist (Intelligence) [Doubles yield when crafting all Chems, including Stimpaks] and Super Duper (Luck) [Up to 30% chance to double the base yield when crafting almost anything] to maximize those results. That includes crafting ammo. 4:10 Chinese Stealth Armor is repairable at an Armor Workbench. No need to use Repair Kits; you just need the materials. 7:52 Whitespring has two free fast travel options. In addition to your own camp being a free fast travel point, your teammates’ camps are also free, as well as Vault 76, Crater, Foundation, Fort Atlas, The Rusty Pick, The Rose Room, and Nuka-World On Tour. You can also fast travel to a teammate (not exactly on target, but in a general nearby area) for free. I think that’s also an option for any friends that you’re not currently teamed up with, but not 100% sure on that.
I consistently use two types of armor, excavator & Chinese Stealth. Why? The bulk of my weapons are Vampire weapons & shooting enemies are just like offensive stimpaks for a lack of a better term. My health is restored with each hit. I hunt resources during lode baring (excavator) & ranged stealth with Chinese armor with a high powered fixer is a very deadly combination backed by the appropriate perk cards & buffs. Often I go to a private server to collect ingredients alone without other players competing for the same resources. I devote 1 or 2 days before the noon reset to gather what I need. BTW, stealth suits have 1000 radiation resistance.
Just started a month or so ago. Hit lvl 50 recently (came out of the vault at lvl 20). Stimpacks have never been an issue. It's like the game just throws them at you! Although some of that may be the result of the Holiday gift feature over the past few weeks. That's been awesome for getting ammo if nothing else. Haven't tried playing in a group yet, but maybe I'll give it a try soon.
One of my builds is a straight up home body, every perk for making ammo, repairing, building items and trading, then some power armor bonuses incase i run over to an event
So, you don't need your camp near whitesprings, all but the enclave bunker is free to tp to at whitesprings, so is crater, Vault 76, the rusty pick, nuka world and fort atlas are free to tp to. By the way, use the Super Duper perk in Luck when making ammo, when you craft anything, there is a 30% chance you'll get double results with it fully ranked up..
I might've only ever crafted ammo once entirely on my newest character, I have well over 3000 shotgun shells. If you join events and other people help carry you, I'm pretty sure as long as you get one hit on an enemy they drop a good amount of the ammo you hit them with and it usually ends up being more than it took to kill them. On average I get about 8 shotgun shells for maybe 1-2 shots to "tag" that enemy
only been playing a couple of days, ammo has been a problem because I have gotten so much of it that it is a legit weight concern. The idea of crafting or buying ammo is absurd to me. unless it is something super high end.
Man when I learned you can farm fusion cores and there was a recharging station, I got on that. In one day I got 150 fusion cores. Infinite ammo and power armor!
Actually theres some power armour that will have a damage reduction bonus without a legendary effect that negates most of the armor piercing attacks in a daily op. When you get hellcat armour, it helps. I get two shot from 600 armour at 250hp. I run 75hp and hellcat with slightly better stats, it takes like 10 shots. Its a massive improvement for bloody builds.
Dont sleep on this perk card called Tank Killer.. You will come across some pretty strong enemies later on that will waste your ammo reserves if you're not careful. You wanna be able to ignore their armor so you waste less ammo and stay consistent with your damage.
@harwoods11 Wouldn't it stack, though? I've been noticing significant damage drops on a railway rifle with neither perk card or legendary effect equipped. On the scorchbeast queen, it's unbearable. I have to either use the explosive 50 cal with anti armor. With tank killer or the 40-round automatic railway rifle I just tested this on a level 100 molerat. With Tank Killer equipped. Automatic railway rifle #1 (base dmg 83×2=166) ☆ +1 projectile +25% dmg ☆☆ +50% chance to hit a target in V.A.T.S ☆☆☆ -25% AP cost It does 186 dmg (no crit) Automatic Railway Rifle #2 (base dmg 143) ☆ +300% Ammo capacity ☆☆ Replenish 15 AP with each kill ☆☆☆ +250 dmg resistance while reloading. It does 283 (No Crit) Make this make sense... I'm starting to feel like the numbers are just for show. Help! I'm realizing the flaws in the game! Edit: I did some number tweaking and some legendary mods, got an Automatic Railway Rifle with ☆+50% dmg when targets below 40% health ☆☆ Bullets explode for 20% weapon damage ☆☆☆ -25% AP cost And the damage is insane. 488, and I didn't even use crits. So I found my new main weapon. Also, if anyone has read this far, I found out another really good tip. Item weight inside your stash do not use your perk cards for reduced weight. So take out all your food and chems. Throw on thru-hiker and traveling pharmacy. And just use your stach box for weapons and armor
I've solo the queen three times and just failed once out of the three because I ran out of time. that's why I don't nuke after midnight anymore because you might find yourself alone, lol.
Stimpacks and purified water is what I carry the most along with ammo. I play on ps5 so anytime I’m low on health, i press right on d-pad. I’ve tried the auto stimpack armor but that works only at a certain health percentage, as some enemy hits are critical and sometimes deadly when I’m low enough
And that's why I always sell stimpaks, expeditions and daily ops are your best choice to farm stimpaks. For all the new players capturing a power plant or doing events is your way of getting fusion cores. Please also use google to make the build you need, FYI don't shoot people, you never know who has an Anti-Armor weapon or Assassin's armor lol.
On the power armor note: Don't overlook the quest to unlock the excavator PA. This is easy to craft, you can find mods for it at the vendors often (Calibrated shocks are a must) and it drastically increases your carry weight, it also helps that with the full set you can double your mining output on nodes which is huge when farming lead. This armor can carry you to your end game set easily and for some people, it *IS* their end game set.
Omg that Stimpak one... I was doing the robot elimination challenges with my lvl 450+ character and i had 320+ stimpaks by the time i had killed like 2000 robots I only had around 50 left and i already had Healing Factor and Born Survivor. I wasn't using any unless i absolutely needed to, those assaultrons and robobrains messed me up so bad despite my BOS Recon Armor
For the moment I'm playing private while I'm figuring things out. I tend to use the salvage kits to get my carry weight down more than the repair kits. I tend to use the repair kits when at an unowned bench and absolutely positively need to fix my weapon and armor RIGHT NOW
I know it's only available at level 50, but if you are crafting your ammo, use the Super Duper card to sometimes get free extra craftings. It's insane how often it procs at 2 stars. But with contextual ammo in containers, it's kind of hard to run out of the ammo of the weapon you have in your hand. I installed a prime mod in my gauss rifle, had no ammo for it, and ran around collecting it from boxes and now I have more than enough for what I do (big single shots help save on ammo).
I recommend Field Medic over First Aid. People tend to go through stimpaks when they’re in a tight spot and end up spamming them for the initial heal to stay alive. Field Medic makes them heal FASTER which is what you’ll get the most use out of. Or run both if you want and have the space.
My tip for new players: Make friends with Morgantown airport, it’s a location you can reach early on in the game with or without the Overseer quests. Plenty of Stimpacks, Radaway, Rad x, and weapon loot dropped from the scorched there. Plus the mini event that drops the 100 pre war money. Across from that is a vendor train station, I usually will pick up everything not nailed down and haul it back to sell to the bot, easy money. Just remember you are only allowed a certain amount of caps per day. My other tip is that if you have loot to sell, no existing vendor caps, and no room in your stash box then buy plans from the Whitesprings plan robot. It usually gives back a decent amount of caps you can sell your stuff with if you buy one of those plans.
those that increase a special stat are really strong, great for fitting that one final perk card in somewhere. ammo factory is great, combined with some other perks can cause ammo to be a complete non issue. electric absorption is really helpful if you have any use for fusion cores
people will sometimes take the armor and the chassis when trying to complete there armor sets. It is best to server hop if you see this while looking for power armor specifically.
Yeah that about right Honestly if I were you I would just restart your account because you have the option to start at level 20 there is no real difference other than saving you sometime the game scaling and loot is kind of janke and that's more or less the solution start at 20
For daily ops that have armor piercing power armor is 100% recommended as each piece of power armor also has passive 7% damage reduction, which is not ignored. You can also stack that with the Over Eaters legendary effect which is damage reduction that increases based on your hunger/thirst up to 6% per piece, both of which will reduce the damage you take during the armor piercing daily ops. And if your a bloody build throw emergency protocol on your power armor chest plate for 50% damage reduction and 25% move speed increase below 30% health. I am not sure if there is a cap on damage reduction.
If you do buy from bot vendors an not player vendors. You should always have stacked chems for easy caps. Chems are easy to come by an dont way much. 40 chems is 500 caps easy to get your caps back
I had so many stimpacks from just playing I threw down 40 for a friend and still had plenty to spare. It's nuts how many I've been getting from just enemy looting and general gameplay since returning.
Hi, so a lot of my stim packs because my build that I am required to have my power on with because of the AP that I push with my dated vampire chainsaw that’s the reason why I don’t need too much chilling. I probably keep at least 20 in there but just going out and scavenging the way I do I could have like 70 in there by the end of my scavenging. So I sell them all, except for like 20
For repair kits you don’t have to buy them in the item shop like you said but you can get improved repair kits from completing level 50+ like earl, a colossal problem and the nuka world event
Foundation, the crater, vault 76, and teammate camps are all free to fast travel to. Also the luck perk super duper will randomly craft 2 of stuff so when crafting ammo it can really increase your ammo yield
3 cards help with extra ammo, first "ammo smith" in Agility, then in Luck the card "Super Duper", and lastly the legendary perk card "Ammo Factory" 1) Ammo Smith can give 40% for level one and 80% for level two more ammo when crafting 2) Legendary Perk Card Ammo Factory gives you 50%, 75%, 100%, and 150% more ammo when crafting on levels 1,2,3,and 4 Super Duper can give 10%, 20%, and 30% chance to double you crafted items so on level 3 it can give a 30% chance to double how much ammo you craft I also recommend only putting the 2 regular perk cards on right before you craft ammo as you don't need them the rest of the time and can use 2 different cards when not crafting bullets, the same with the Charisma card that increase your selling price and reduces the NPC selling price, the same with crafting drugs cards, the same with repairing armor and guns cards.
Level 119 been playing for almost a year and it never crossed my mind to use radiation suit like duh 🙄😂😅 always used power armor to farm yellow cake Flux after an area has been nuked love those orbital strikes thanks for the tip
Super Duper in Luck is also a must for making ammo (or anything) for the chance of it getting duplicated. For those that dont have points in luck like this current build had, you can just make a 2nd loadout at a punch machine that is specified for crafting and selling, and then just go back and forth between the 2 when you need to.
I started the game a few days ago, and did some missions, during which I found a very beautiful place on the map with a lake, and built my first camp there!! while I was tidying up my inventory, a guy came and yelled at me asking why I built my camp in that place. I was so confused that I left the game. Are there any camp construction rules? 😢
I usually only buy stimpak's if I am out and I am in whitesprings. AND I suddenly hear my friend panic as a giant legenday cryptid jumps them out of leftfield lol
I’m not at my game rn but in luck there’s a perk for crafting when it’s lvl 3 you get a 60% chance to double the stuff you craft with literally anything bullets armor weapons
GUYS HELP!!! I bought a repair kit bundle from the Atomic Store (I know... i didn't see this vid before that) but I don't see it anywhere in my inventory/menu... Do you know how do I find it? How do I use it? THANKSSSSSS!
My findings were that a full set of union power armor with overeaters on each piece kept my bloody builds alive without dying in daily ops. Also, emergency protocols on the torso.
Hey guys I have a question!!!! Do lunchboxes affect how much reputation you get when you are done with a quest as will or does it just affect player XP???
When talking about crafting you forgot to talk about Chemist for the stims and Super Duper for both chems AND ammo. Even with the x75 on the 10mm ammo you could potentially double that if you get lucky with the Super Duper perk.
This video focuses on stim packs a lot. As of this post I have been playing for less than a month. Once you are above level 100, and you get there fast, you can't get rid of them. I sell bundles of 50 for 1 cap each just to get them out of my stash. Donate bundles of 50 to various train stations. Don't worry about stims.
Ive meet many good players in the public server, trying to help new players. Ive crafted gear and helped over 300 players who are on my friends list on PS5.
The only repair kit that I get off of the Adam shop is the ones they give you with the fallout first package every day I don’t buy any of that. I save my atoms up for more important things or stuff I really want.
Craft ammo? I just started this game last week and killing one enemy with whatever weapon and ammo you're using they drop anywhere from 20-50ish ammo for that gun. I started with 13 shotgun shells and within an hour had over 600+ bullets. My buddy says it was no where near like that years ago. And 4 definitely wasn't that generous. Good video regardless.
You only have a finite number of fav slots. They really need to expand the favorite/hot bar or something, I use stims just out of convince because using food is a pain. It either spoils or I use them all up in like a second.
What’s with the stem pack thing man I have like 100 days on PS five and only about three days on Xbox because I switched and I already have like 300 stem packs. I’m at the point where I wanna start selling them because I have too many.
radzones are the time and place to use Power Armor as they greatly reduce your rad intake, then take radx to further reduce your rad intake then after you do take about half HP bar down to rad THEN take Rad Away to take the rads away and then eat to get HP back, then if you don't have food then take Stimpacks to get HP back.
I met some guy yesterday that took me to a stop on the map that gave me unlimited Caps 😂 and so much gear I will never need to scrap again kinda wish he didn’t lol
I've never ever ever had an issue with never having enough stims. I started at Level 2 and now I'm level 47 not a single time have I thought to my self "wow I'm running low on stims" just use pharma farma, even the 1st level perk is essentially a coin flip for extra stims
Because of cola nut, i legit dont need stims unless i have a broken leg which is rare since i have PA nearly all the time outside of camps and settlements. Even then, adamatium skeleton Same with radaway and all forms of both too. Grape takes care of rads better than radaway, a simple cola can heal a lot of health, i just sell the ones i get otherwise
A high level player entered my camp and gifted me a vintage Nuka-Shine. Not sure if it was generous or a clever ruse. Either way, I now continue the tradition of gifting low-level players vintage Nuka-Shine and wishing them well
a lot i dont agree in this video - Power Armor is not a must, there are a lot of builds that works great without Power Armors, you dont HAVE to use Power Armor if you dont like that playstyle, its an option not a must - If you need the heal, then use your Stimpak, dont have too stingy on yourself, you need heal and its THE healing item, aint nobody gonna have time to open AID and find food to heal in the middle in combat, Stimpaks are easy to find anyway If you're a newbie and dont have many, dilutes them like Termx said, just dont nickel and dime yourself of life and death

A high level player met me at his shop today and gave me 8 slices of Birthday cake and some popcorn. Loads of decent folk on 76. Great game
That's so wholesome haha
Yesterday one high lvl guy gave me 3 bottles of vodka
I've had 99% good encounters with the other players as well. (Everyone has an off day ;) )
i was lucky to be given 80 steam packs and 100 radaway, wepons that are for lvl 50 at the time i was 15 and now at 31 i still can't hahaha, i was trying to tell him i was full but at the time i didn't know you can cary over the limit, i figure out later hahaha, he/she was realy help full i still have them and use them sperily.
The Rusty Pick and Crater are free too.
@@HrKCA I have 1300hrs in FO76 AND NEVER NOTICED SOME LOCATIONS ARE FREE TO TRAVEL TO! WTH?! Also from google
In Fallout 76, the player character can fast travel for free to their C.A.M.P, a friend, a party member, or the C.A.M.P. of a party member, along with the following default locations: Vault 76, Foundation, the Crater, the Whitespring Resort, Fort Atlas, the Rusty Pick, and The Rose Room
Also why I try to build my shops/camp nearby to save people money on the trip. One home is near Whitesprings and the other is close by vault 76
You can also travel to members of your team. Just click on their yellow dot on the map.
@@Crowsaxton even when overencumbered?
Why are you selling pre war money in your vendor?
Joined a team with a lvl 600 dude. He was selling all his plans for 10 caps each. I only bought like a handful of things. He then came to the base and dropped me a harness that gives 2 Per and 1 Str or something. Sooo nice.
Community is awesome
I'm only level 140 and I sell the vast majority of my plans for either free or like 10 caps.
Even good rolled legendaries I typically sell for less than 1000 caps.
I'd rather sell them to someone that can use them for a good price than have them sit in my vendor for months.
I had a guy do the same thing! He visited my base, and dropped me a full set of level 40 power armor and a few cores. (I was level 38 at the time) He bought all my stuff from my vendor, waved and vanished. Out of the 35+ years of gaming, I have never seen a community this nice.
@Saintbow yeah, I have the plan for the fixer. I quite ofter make a set of each level and give them to a level 10 or something
Or just take the power plant camp or craft laser gatling
@RossMalagarie just have 2nd character with all the cores, I think mine has over 300 cores
Stop running away from high level players trying to give you stuff.😂😅
Lmaooooo
Not everyone always just wants freebees..
Stop trying to give me stuff i want to play the game myself
I wish someone had told me how to do workbench repairs when I started. I had no idea you didn't need repair kits.
Yup, it's like almost hidden haha
I didn't know either so I just used weapons that I can craft so when the durability is up I just scrap the weapon and make another. Because of leveling up the new weapons I make turn out better
Any time you see scorched earth go to it when it completes you have a good chance to get IMPROVED REPAIR KITS that fixes your stuff to 130%
My mom is in her 70s.
The stimpack tip is funny to me because as a low level I usually hit the wrong button trying to swap weapons 😅
Yup 😂
Same
I’ve played back in 2020 but recently picked it back up again and I still do this. I also accidentally jump instead of hitting critical hit in vats so I’ll be in the middle of a fight jumping and popping stimpaks like an idiot 🤦♀️
@@lelwyn same, jumping trying to hit that crit while shoot a Fixer and occasionally stimpaking by accident while trying to change guns and I have been playing for about 1yr after I got it "free" on PSN for PS+ and currently have 1300hrs so don't feel bad.
don't get me started on crouching, pulling out your pipboy in the middle of a fight😂
HOLY CRAAAP, the SUPER DUPER tips is what i really need ! thanks bro
And since mutated party packs and gifts also give ammo, make sure you have the gun equipped you want ammo for before opening them. Easy way to stock up on ammo you might have been short on for an alternate weapon.
The upside to the atom shop utility section is that they give you one free thing nearly every day.
Appreciated for this tip. Going to incorporate it into my cap making schemes. I think I learn more from comments on videos than the videos 😂
what I do is just do normal stuff and always loot all enemies and sell all guns and armor you will not use until the daily vender cap limit of 1400 caps is empty, then scrap guns and armor after to learn mods.
well im a dad as well to a at this time 4 year old and if u ever need help ill run with u and teach u stuff
The stew you get from the "feed the people" public event will be really helpful to you as well
This is the way. Also, fast travel on every person in the team to find new locations...put your headphones on and communicate..you will learn faster
@dustinj4283 I'm like lvl 900 or something, I still scream, "Feeds The Peeples!' when event pops. Plus you can solo it.
@@emileewooten3874 LMAO, I'm going to think this every time now!
This is great advice, only exception would be like you said, if you have lv 50 armor or a lv50 gun with decent perks.
Yes max gear lvl for items is either 45 or 50 so once you have some decent legendaries you keep and repair those weapons
It''s a fun way to play and you really dont need the damage perks till later if you keep up with weapon levels. Use the perk cards for the 90% junk 90% med 90% food weight reductions!
So trash my pre fifty 2 and 3 star equipment ?
If they are, just join the team and fast travel to them
I just did a public event and after that we all started playing instruments and chilled for 15 minutes, such a fun game
I hate clunking around in power armor. I had marine armor, but upgraded to secret service armor. For radiation protection, I have Chinese Stealth Armor.
I tell you the new civic engineer armor is amazing
Great tips and video. Here is my feedback:
- There is two ways to reduce damage in the game, Damage Resistance (DR) and Damage Mitigation(%). Power Armor on top of the DR offers I believe 7% damage Mitigation per piece. Therefore, It is quite useful when enemies can pierce through armor
- When crafting Stimpacks make sure to equip the chemist perk. This will doulble the amount. 2 Stimpacks, 4 Diluted Stimpacks or 6 Diffused Stimpacks. It gets to the point where you have more stimpacks that you can use I have over 1000 and I am often placing and giving to users
Keep up the good work and enjoying the game
W advice, thank you for the love homie
1300hrs in and I have never crafted a stimpak. I sell them and try to keep 20 on myself for boss fights/events/dailes and try to only keep about 150 in stash but thanks for the info.
In crafting ammo, you should also equip "Super Duper" perk card in Luck, it gives 30% chance to get double the amount on what you're crafting.
I was going to mention this but didn't want to over complicate things. Great advice though
And AMMOSMITH, also I always run the ammo making legendary perk too, as well as master infiltrator
@@crayonchomper1180max ammo smith ammo factory and super duper and ammo is never an issue again
Remember, these tips are aimed at beginners. Super duper doesn't unlock straight away, and Ammo Factory CERTAINLY doesn't.
@@peterclarke7006 true. What level does super duper unlock at? Isn’t it in the 40s?
It is to encourage more co op play.
I agree I think they should focus more on actual solo play a lot of people team up just for the benefit and I don't think that encourages any making of friends or whatever their point of focusing on co-op so hard is and I think solo play should be encouraged as well, as that's what a lot people want as well
They did do that. It's called Fallout 4.
@jayviktor6130 bro doesn't get the concept of wanting a new game. Nobody wants to play fallout 4 for 15 years
I play solo and only play with a group for boss fights, events, and dailies.
Add chemist and green thumb and you’ll get 4 salve per 1 soot/blood leaf.
whitespring resort is free to fast travel to.
list of free fast travel locations:
- your camp
- your survival tent (if applicable, it’s a fallout 1st feature)
- vault 76
- the rusty pick (legendary scrip vendor)
- nuka world on tour
- whitespring resort (north icon)
- whitespring resort (east icon)
- fort atlas
- crater
- foundation
use those as bridges to get to nearby areas so cut down on caps
I think that’s also an option for any friends that you’re not currently teamed up with, but not 100% sure on that.
another tip for those daily ops with armor piercing, if you find any overeaters piece, use it, it reduces damage per peace by 6%
Just came back to F76 and these are some fantastic tips. Appreciate it. New sub earned.
Welcome back! Happy to help :)
Everyone sleeping on the ammo exchanger. Just feed it railway spikes. It turns steel into whatever ammo you want.
Legendary Perks vid plz. I just started playing & love your vids. Just got a new sub.
Next one I got you :)
Lol my tip is take over monongah power plant then the ammo factory free fusion cores and most ballistic ammo
4:54 Bro, thanks for sharing this info 💯
1:27 the atom shop now has a fusion core recharger for 700 on sale
Don't forget to do your daily challenges.
7:46 it’s not just your camp that’s free to travel to, your teammates camps and the white springs resort are also free
I believe it also works for the 10mm SMG
Just use AA weapons and save your perk cards
@harwoods11 Wouldn't it stack, though? I've been noticing significant damage drops on a railway rifle with neither perk card or legendary effect equipped. On the scorchbeast queen, it's unbearable. I have to either use the explosive 50 cal with anti armor. With tank killer or the 40-round automatic railway rifle
I just tested this on a level 100 molerat. With Tank Killer equipped.
Automatic railway rifle #1 (base dmg 83×2=166)
☆ +1 projectile +25% dmg
☆☆ +50% chance to hit a target in V.A.T.S
☆☆☆ -25% AP cost
It does 186 dmg (no crit)
Automatic Railway Rifle #2 (base dmg 143)
☆ +300% Ammo capacity
☆☆ Replenish 15 AP with each kill
☆☆☆ +250 dmg resistance while reloading.
It does 283 (No Crit)
Make this make sense... I'm starting to feel like the numbers are just for show. Help! I'm realizing the flaws in the game!
Edit: I did some number tweaking and some legendary mods, got an Automatic Railway Rifle with
☆+50% dmg when targets below 40% health
☆☆ Bullets explode for 20% weapon damage
☆☆☆ -25% AP cost
And the damage is insane.
To be fair there’s content in the game that pretty much requires teamwork. Things like the ultracite Titian, earle, and the queen.
This is the most helpful and clear video I’ve seen on this game
Omg that Stimpak one... I was doing the robot elimination challenges with my lvl 450+ character and i had 320+ stimpaks
by the time i had killed like 2000 robots I only had around 50 left and i already had Healing Factor and Born Survivor. I wasn't using any unless i absolutely needed to, those assaultrons and robobrains messed me up so bad despite my BOS Recon Armor
That's actually INSANE lmfao, the assaultron beams hurt so much
Get some troubleshooter or overeater armor… 🫠
Doesnt healing factor make stimpacks less potent?
@@celestialnovas3790 the healing out of combat is awesome but I always run Class Freak as a counter-balance to it
@@celestialnovas3790 also this was before Atlantic City part 2's Nerf
For the moment I'm playing private while I'm figuring things out.
I tend to use the salvage kits to get my carry weight down more than the repair kits.
I tend to use the repair kits when at an unowned bench and absolutely positively need to fix my weapon and armor RIGHT NOW
Ammo crafting all is 100% correct. But add in Super Duper card. Has a chance to give you free yields of each craft attempt.
One of the best explained video for new players and a sub for your work :)
Means more than you think, thank you
Actually a details walk through of the west trak facility you were in as I get to certain parts and can't go further.
you need to do the mission there
My tip for new players: Make friends with Morgantown airport, it’s a location you can reach early on in the game with or without the Overseer quests.
I started using that shotgun build you made with the cold shoulder nd I love it I just don’t know what legendary perk card to use
those that increase a special stat are really strong, great for fitting that one final perk card in somewhere. ammo factory is great, combined with some other perks can cause ammo to be a complete non issue. electric absorption is really helpful if you have any use for fusion cores
It's probably cuz I only just got to level 21 but why does every frame I find have no armor on it? It's always just empty
people will sometimes take the armor and the chassis when trying to complete there armor sets. It is best to server hop if you see this while looking for power armor specifically.
Yeah that about right Honestly if I were you I would just restart your account because you have the option to start at level 20 there is no real difference other than saving you sometime the game scaling and loot is kind of janke and that's more or less the solution start at 20

Cool thanks for the suggestions
40 chems is 500 caps easy to get your caps back
10:36 hurt me 😢 im lv 90 struggling to keep up on ammo using power armor heavy gun build gaytling plasma mini gun
3 cards help with extra ammo, first "ammo smith" in Agility, then in Luck the card "Super Duper", and lastly the legendary perk card "Ammo Factory"
1) Ammo Smith can give 40% for level one and 80% for level two more ammo when crafting
2) Legendary Perk Card Ammo Factory gives you 50%, 75%, 100%, and 150% more ammo when crafting on levels 1,2,3,and 4
Super Duper can give 10%, 20%, and 30% chance to double you crafted items so on level 3 it can give a 30% chance to double how much ammo you craft
I also recommend only putting the 2 regular perk cards on right before you craft ammo as you don't need them the rest of the time and can use 2 different cards when not crafting bullets, the same with the Charisma card that increase your selling price and reduces the NPC selling price, the same with crafting drugs cards, the same with repairing armor and guns cards.
I’m new and these tips helped a lot I thought the only way to repair weapons was using repair kits but I was wrong
I’m not at my game rn but in luck there’s a perk for crafting when it’s lvl 3 you get a 60% chance to double the stuff you craft with literally anything bullets armor weapons
I’d say the perk name if I was at my system lol
It’s called super duper
...and it's only a 30% bonus😁
GUYS HELP!!!
I bought a repair kit bundle from the Atomic Store (I know... i didn't see this vid before that) but I don't see it anywhere in my inventory/menu... Do you know how do I find it? How do I use it?
THANKSSSSSS!
Very informative, thank you!
My findings were that a full set of union power armor with overeaters on each piece kept my bloody builds alive without dying in daily ops. Also, emergency protocols on the torso.
Great tips. Great video
Hey guys I have a question!!!! Do lunchboxes affect how much reputation you get when you are done with a quest as will or does it just affect player XP???
just xp to my knowledge.
When talking about crafting you forgot to talk about Chemist for the stims and Super Duper for both chems AND ammo. Even with the x75 on the 10mm ammo you could potentially double that if you get lucky with the Super Duper perk.
You eventually get so many stimpaks you'll be dumping them in donation boxes..... just saying. Storage is anemic in this game.
Best thing I’ve found is a Gas Mask, works the same as Hazmat Suit but lets you keep armour on!
He's not lying with the stimmys I ran through 130 in less than 10 mins on my daily ops
Awesome video. Thanks
I rarely take a lot of damage unless I stand there and just don’t defend myself but as soon as I crank my chainsaw up, I’m instantly healed
The only repair kit that I get off of the Adam shop is the ones they give you with the fallout first package every day I don’t buy any of that. I save my atoms up for more important things or stuff I really want.
Awesome video 🏆
I bought a HUGE amount of plans and attire for 1 cap a piece. It was dope getting my wasteland drip for cheap.
Im a raider 😎
Uea 76 is SUPER generous with ammo drops
@ItzTermx Bout an hour ago I picked up 370 .308 rounds from a ammo box... I was down to 12 needless to say I was shooketh
Thats uh, literally not possible even with maxed perks and max ammo spawn rate @user-kx2hu4vf1y
You only have a finite number of fav slots. They really need to expand the favorite/hot bar or something, I use stims just out of convince because using food is a pain. It either spoils or I use them all up in like a second.
Yuuup, agreed
Good video
Because of cola nut, i legit dont need stims unless i have a broken leg which is rare since i have PA nearly all the time outside of camps and settlements. Even then, adamatium skeleton
Same with radaway and all forms of both too. Grape takes care of rads better than radaway, a simple cola can heal a lot of health, i just sell the ones i get otherwise
A high level player entered my camp and gifted me a vintage Nuka-Shine. Not sure if it was generous or a clever ruse. Either way, I now continue the tradition of gifting low-level players vintage Nuka-Shine and wishing them well
a lot i dont agree in this video
- Power Armor is not a must, there are a lot of builds that works great without Power Armors, you dont HAVE to use Power Armor if you dont like that playstyle, its an option not a must
- If you need the heal, then use your Stimpak, dont have too stingy on yourself, you need heal and its THE healing item, aint nobody gonna have time to open AID and find food to heal in the middle in combat, Stimpaks are easy to find anyway
If you're a newbie and dont have many, dilutes them like Termx said, just dont nickel and dime yourself of life and death
This whole video killed me, almost every tip was the opposite of a tip.
