I would like to add one change for even more incredible results, you place the images on a 4k timelime, but it would be better to make a timeline with custom resolution with the exact amount of pixels of the images. This way you don't lose a bit of resolution before you stabilize it.
Mate! This tutorial was so helpful! I’ve just ordered my mini 3, so it’s not going to be here for a few weeks, but all you’ve showed will still be just as valuable with my air 2. Just stumbled upon your channel/ this vid. Seriously, well helpful tutorial! Cheers buddy! Also, a hack for getting longer length hyperlapses, even up to 30 seconds possibly (not my hack, I saw it in another tutorial!) But, you’ll have to use Way point, but you set up a lengthy hyperlapse as normal using way points (it’ll say insufficient battery, but don’t worry about that) then, make sure the final way point is close to where your home point is, (to get the most out of the battery life) so you’d set up all your way points, having the final one near your location, then save the waypoints, come and land, then put a full battery in and start shooting the hyperlapse. That way you have a full battery to fly with, and it’ll end near you so you just come and land. Ideal little go around for getting longer ones if you wanted. Really appreciate this vid, and can’t wait for my mini 3 and controller to arrive! Deffo subscribing as I’ve been editing a few videos, but am 100% new to final cut. Haven’t even used it yet, but purchased it to make the move from iMovie. Really hoping you have some more Final Cut tutorials if this was anything to go by! Cheers man. & if you or anyone wants to check my footage from around my area, it’s not this account. Search ‘Harold of Kernow’ on RUclips and Instagram. Thanks again man, and I’ll be returning here I expect many times!
Love this video! Just posted my own review of the Mini 3 Pro but didnt get chance to try out the hyperlapse setting! Defo going to give it a go in the coming days :)
what it depends on, I have sometimes interval set to 2 sec and sometimes to 3 sec? By night with shutter speed 1.67 pro set, length 6 sec, waypoint I cant set interval to 2sec, only 3 sec and higher
It’s a good question with software I’m not 100% familiar with. All I would say, is as long as you can batch import photos, copy and paste settings and batch export, then yes that is possible!
Hello! And yes, the app will automatically stitch up a video for you right after your shoot, the only downside of that is the stabilisation is not the best and the video is cropped in a lot. However it still does a decent enough job!
@@GlenCairnsVideoProductions I miss asked my question. What I mean is for instance I’ll use my iphone 13 for example. It will shoot in time lapse mode. Easy. Stabilises well in post using Final Cut. I agree that the method you use is best. However for my work. I don’t have a lot of time for post. So I mainly wanted to see if it actually filmed real time like an iphone in time lapse mode. Thank you very much for your time and your response. If your interest you can see my work on RUclips. I high speed film driving all over the USA as a big rig trucker and score original music. I started integrating drone footage with dji mini 2 last year. Waiting on mini 3 to arrive and was excited about those REALY neat hyper shot night scenes with the streaking lights from the traffic. On interstates. Thanks again.
I know I’m struggling too. I want my fly more combo now. I’ve already paid for it and I have to wait until the 1/7 🤬😡🤣 I also love doing lots of Hyper lapses and one battery just does not cut it.
I feel your pain! Mines thankfully arrived a few days ago, but still waiting on ND filters. Yeah, they look great but you only really get one stab at them 😁
Have you tried the stitched modes like wide angle and so on? I've done a few and it isn't perfect at stitching, on-board. Is there a way to have it take the series of snaps in raw that cover the area as required, then import to use another stitch program? When I try, I am left with one picture (with the strong possibility of an imperfect stitch).
I do this by shooting exposure brackets and pan around manually. Lightroom -> HDR + Pano stitching, looks really great. I am a noob though and this might be insuffient for your purpose.

That’s a great shout Daniel, you’ve been pinned 📍!
all good, all good... and then: THE COLORS!! oh my that looks awuful
Great tutorial, many thanks for pointing me up to the right direction with regards to get better results with hyperlapses! 👌🏼
Nice step by step tut. This helps a lot (Especially light room workflow).
wow this excellent, I have just got my Mini 3 Pro, first ever drone and so much to learn.... thank you

Good on you!
Excellent video. Very informative. Love my Mini 3 Pro.
Awesome. Very informative
Thanks Bruce!

Thanks Jack, like the look of your channel and enjoyed your review, liked and subbed 👍
thanks yes that was very useful 👍👍
Amazing tutorial
Love my Mini 3. Will love it even more once I get the Fly More Combo Plus kit. Thumbs up👍
Thank you! I’ll love me combo when it finally arrives to 😁
@@GlenCairnsVideoProductions It's a pain in the ass only having one battery. My kit comes early next week. Cant wait
@@TonesDroneVisuals haha tell me about it! 🤣
Nice video mate. Subbed.
Fantastic 🤝🤟🏼😎
Really good tut, I tend to use Da Vinci resolve for all my grading...
I wonder: If your Fly More Combo hasn't arrived yet, why don't you wait, making the clip until it does? Just curious ;-)
Nicely explained
Drone yang bagus
I’m the opposite way round I’ve got my fly more kit I just haven’t got my drone yet

I cannot figure this out through Premiere Pro when it comes to FPS. It doesn't adjust accordingly no matter how many ways I've tried. Any suggestions?
Very nice 👌
Should it not be 1/2 based on your interval of 3 ?
nice vid
Looks great mate, any idea is it possible to do what you've done here in Luminar AI or Luminar Neo?

I definitely learned a lot. Thank you… one question… will dji mini 3 hyperlapse withiut taking pictures and hyperlapse in filming mode?

@@GlenCairnsVideoProductions so the ND filters didn’t come because I also ordered those. That’s a bit of a bugger. 😡👍
@@MadMax-vy9hk I know, deliveries have been quite poor with this release. Hope it arrives soon for you max 👍.
perhaps due to its small size there is noticeable jittering, when compared to heavier drones like the DJI Mavic 2 Pro
Mine doesn't jitter.

Can you shoot them with 48mpx images?
Hi! Unfortunately not, the only option is JPEG or RAW 👍
@@GlenCairnsVideoProductions thanks for the reply, that's super annoying as it'd allow additional push ins/pans etc.
Change your title to mini 3 pro,
Average guy with a mini pro 3.... not a chance. Lost me totally. Looks like a 2 week residential course to train. Admire your skill though.
I think I'll just fly around for no other reason than I can, I'll pass on all that
omg too much work! haha! I want one click
Useless.......you don't go into detail on what to push........sigh........ Z
