I have myself 2 Hobbymaster F-35’s, a RCAF F35A as well as a F35C (a 2024 release but somehow got one early off EBay) & as I was initially a bit underwhelmed with the RCAF “A” variant (although it still looks good and has grown on me, it’s hard to notice the detail on the dark grey colour scheme), the “C” variant is a must have! Looks absolutely MEAN with its ordinance and actually has a more similar look to the F22. The F35 has been growing on me over the years I must say! Starting to become one of my favourite aircrafts.
Thanks for checking one of my older video's...hopefully I have got better over time 😂. Yes the F-35 does not do much for me, well the model doesn't,haha. Man you shop from the future 😉🤣I have just ordered a B & C version so hopefully will be a little more excited when opening up those 😉. Especially the C in full beast mode should look sweet 😄. I'm still a big F-22 fan, that thing is sleek and tough. Just looks the part...pity they are so dam expensive to make and the F-35 being cheaper is probably one of the only reasons it got the tick of approval over the F-22 continued production. But that's just my view as an Aussie that never gets to see much of these in real life, haha. Thanks again for dropping past 🙂
@@heavymetaldiecast Honestly your videos have always been consistent! Although yes I do admit there has been some improvement naturally the more you do the reviews! As for the F-35, I think it has a lot to do with the dark grey colour scheme found on many of the "A" variants, really hard to make out the detailing. The F-35C's seem to be in a lighter grey scheme so the detailing is much easier to notice! Looking forward to your review on that one! I also think the reason the F35's initially got a lot of hate is due to It replacing everyone's favorite aircraft such as the FA18, F111, F16, A-10, Harrier II and possible the F-22 (Although I heard rumors' of a 6th gen fighter being the true replacement). Awesome enough however the US original plans to scrap the F-15 is now a thing of the past as they do intend on keeping the "EX" variant around for quite some time (Been collecting diecast aircraft for almost my entire life and still don't own an F-15... I gotta get on that!). As for the F-22 I think every military aircraft fan would admit they're one of the most impressive and beautiful planes ever to be made! The yanks definitely know what they're doing when it comes to fighter aircraft and I guess really anything military related😅 There has been recent witnesses of the F-22 sporting the "mirror coat" new painting scheme so I wonder what that's all about... Maybe we won't be seeing the end of the F-22 after all! I do own the Hobbymaster F-22 in the mirror coat scheme and it's an absolute beast! I would like to get an original scheme though eventually, doesn't hurt to have more than one Raptor in the collection !!
@@RinsedCheeks nothing can replace an A-10 ,Haha I won't stand for it 🤣. I think budget can affect alot of decisions into what get replaced, I think that's why the EX got the go ahead it was more cost effective going that direction. Ibdont mind an F-15 so No am happy it's sticking around 😀. No F-15 In your collection, dam i thought that's a stable model in everyone's collection, haha although I'm and F-14 guy myself 🤣. You must have a massive collection, I have only got back into collecting military diecast since Covid, was collecting cars for may years before that because i was into classic cars in real life here in Australia. Owned a lot which I've been selling as my body is broken, haha so I can't work on cars anymore so sold a lot of them to fund a hobby that won't hurt me, so diecast models was chosen. Boy and I thought car parts were expensive, haha. Some of these models hit the wallet hard 🤣 I have 2 raptors myself, the mirror coating like you and a standard camo one. I've reviewed both over the coarse of the channel if you have not seen the videos. Thanks again for taking the time to check out the video and comment and good luck choosing an F-15 to buy....there's a lot of nice ones out there 🤣👍
Thanks mate. Appreciate the kind words 😀. These outside ones are my early ones and I was pretty new at doing the videos. Hopefully the newer ones are a little better. Thanks again for taking the time to comment and watch the video 😀👍
Yes unfortunately alot of the big name manufacturers are a little expensive. I try to look for bargains and discount vouchers where I can. There are a range of plastic ready made models from Easy Model. I have around 50 of those and they are fairly well made and present well. And they are around half the cost of their diecast equivalent. I may in the future do a video on those I have, but mainly doing the diecast ones first. Thank you for taking the time to comment and look at our video. Cheers 😀
I ordered it online off an Australian hobby store 😀👍. They should still be available from most outlets I would assume. Thanks for taking the time to check out the video 😀👍
Nice review, but the model is a bit underwhelming, looks a bit cheap compared to other HM models. The paint is too flat and a lot of markings are missing.
Spot on, I felt the same. It seems very basic and not a lot of detail that I've come to expect from Hobby Master releases. Thank you for taking the time to check out the video and for commenting. Hopefully the video was helpful in some way. Cheers
@@1mmickk Thanks very much, I appreciate it alot. Yes my collection is getting a little out of control, I think I'm about to be divorced 🤣 .....I'm only around a third of the way through 😂

It's not too bad 😀, but I do prefer the F-22 a little more 😉
Nice review!

they are cool but not cheap

The engine exhaust nozzles look a bit small and not flushed with the body of the aircraft
