Fun Ear Cleaning | Auburn Medical Group

  • Ear cleaning is done with a fun patient you might recognize from some earlier procedure videos. His ear wax removal was done with a combination of irrigation and curettage. We use warm water with about 1/4 hydrogen peroxide to soften the wax as it is washed out of the ear canal.
    New videos are posted on Friday.

    Yes, earwax, pimple popping, abscesses, and recently found the hoof guy, which is cow’s hoofs, and then found cow abscesses!!!

    Dear Dr I so love your channel, you are definitely on a par with Dr Paul who I love unconditionally followed by Sandra Lee , John Gilmore and Josefa x keep posting young man your doing a wonderful job xxx. Ps this is my nighttime fix in the uk 🇬🇧 it's 00:08 and after a long hard day I get my nightly fixes just before I sleep. My better half thinks I'm a little twisted for watching such things and said I'm weird but what I have pointed out to him that there must be a million weird people out there simply because of the number of subscribers to each channel. Thank you for indulging me xx

    hi! i just came across your videos. i was considering irrigating my ears soon but it still makes me nervous (i've done it three times, first one went wrong a little the syringing hit a little too hard hence the nerves, second one was syringing too but was so gentle and restored my faith haha and then the third one was with this device that you use and it felt ticklish but worked well too!) i get wax build up way too soon and my canals are pretty small and because the first one felt like a punch to the head it still makes me nervous to this day... but these videos are funny and reassuring - i should try laughing with my doctor more it might help! thanks for uploading these!

    Great video! Your sense of humor, and the play between you and your patients is fun.
    The subtitling seems a little off though. Romania for remaining...and many other troubles. I hope this will get better...

    Love the ear wax removal! Idk, it seems like the syringe method worked better and was visually more interesting.

    what is the tool called that you used to scrape the wax out with? the one with the magnification lens on it. that's the coolest tool i've ever seen.

      That is a lighted curette. It is made by a company called Bionix.

    did anyone else notice ( cyst looking), bumps in the man's ear, right above the water pick? wish the Dr. would of at least address that. anyone else?

      I had to go back and look to see what was located there. At first it looked like a giant cyst, but then I realized it was just light reflecting off the normal contour of the antihelix of the ear. The cartilage inside the ear shapes the skin to make it look rounded.

    I don't particularly care for the curette with the magnifying lens on the end it seems odd to handle...however the light is cool..hold on let me finish watching so I can comment further hehe

    I'm itching to get an ear hair trimmer and trim away some of those hairs! Simply for the fact that they were blocking our view! :D
