I followed standard medical advice and stopped cleaning my ears with Q-tips and quickly ended up with BL wax impactions! It was the worst thing, to be losing your hearing and you get very nervous when you can't hear what is happening around you. I left my appointment a totally different person- went from hunched and nervous to standing tall and smiling just because I could hear! The impact of hearing loss is much greater than I ever knew. The doctor told me to go back to cleaning my ears out like I always did.
This is what I say if I didn't clean my ears out about every other night with a Q-tip then I would be at the doctor's office every month coughing like crazy and they wouldn't be able to get anything out either. And why don't they just make you tip smaller where they don't show things and they get things out because I just take off about half of the cotton and use it around the canal and make sure not to shove anything further and it works great. My husband on the other hand does not clean his cuz he goes to the ear doctor on a frequent occasion just to get ear wax sucked out. What do they think those are made for not cleaning your ears using it on your fingernails, any other thing that they're just lying about because trust me there for your ears
I have a question why is it that you guys never trim all that crazy hair that some of the patients have? You can't say that it's all normal because most people do not have it it's like 1 and 20 year videos I see have people that have hair just sticking straight out of their ears and no one ever plucks it and acts like it's not a problem when you can't see anything and there's a wax embedded in that crap all the way down to their eardrum just about. Can we do a PSA to old man not to put their head to the side and shave that stuff with a nose hair trimmer because it just gets embedded down into your wax and you can tell. Does anybody else see this and then nobody else notices and says it's fine?
The guy with the dome in his ear had encrusted hard wax stuck to his ear drum. Do you think that makes it perhaps not vibrate like it's supposed to? Sorry I'm used to the videos where they don't touch the walls and mainly use suction and it's all completely clean even by the ear drum even if they use oil to debride it it's so squameaky clean after. After all the stuff didn't come out on its own the first 75 years of their life obviously don't you think maybe we should get it all the way clean? I'm sure I just don't get it after all not a doctor at all. Just seems that they came all the way to the doctor and at times I feel they just get some of the wax out.

@nothankyou5524 : If I don't use ear drops every week the wax builds up. This recommended by my doctor. You can certainly do this at home to prevent the problem .
@@nothankyou5524 They sell ear cleaning kits at your local pharmacy. I have this trouble and I'm a little bit def 😢
Fascinating.
Is that nerve that makes people cough in the same place in every one’s ears.. or does it differ? Thank you for showing this video very informative❤
My left ear is my coughy ear. My right ear has no such issues
No it's in the same place fir everyone. Just some people are more sensitive than others.
Everytime I put a a tip in my ear that happens I couldn’t imagine a cleaning
Awesome 😮!
Thank you! Cheers!
I don't understand how people allow so much of this to build up in their ears without doing something about it.
So that there will be youtube content like this😂😂😂😂😂
Incrível !
Thank you!
I bet this person is going to need earplugs after this cleaning. Everything is going to be so loud.
My Dr had a tiny vacuum cleaner. It was great
Concerning the first patient. Would using a water pump to flush the ear out cause the same coughing as trying to use the tools?
