Can’t be any worse than the fifties special edition fender I got . The biggest pile of sh:: I’ve ever had the misfortune to own . This sounds like a strat unlike mine with its fat 50’s pickups and backbowed neck I couldn’t get back to flat whatever I tried .

Oh man, that is terrible, I also have a guitar with a back bow and I hate that I have to use heavy strings just to get the correct relief on the neck.
I've also seen a custom shop 50's strat from a store that was on discount, at first look it did not have any issues at all but looking closer, the finish on the neck was so thick especially on the fretboard that the vintage size fretwires where almost under the finish. And then there are many fine steel wool sticking on the pickups. My guess is the finish was applied too thick on the fretboard and somebody from the factory tried to remove it with just steel wool so they dont have to redo it again or put guitar on the reject bin

@@rockcastlemusic yes there’s some right junk coming out from the big names .some of the lesser known stuff is as good if not better these days .Squiers being one of them .and Vintage Brand guitars are great ..

My only gripe about the squier brand is their string spacing. I feel like it's always too narrow for the width of the neck.
