I would be tempted to eliminate the island on the sink. Continue the cabinetry into the "bump-out" area and install a wet-bar with a small sink. I'd move the big sink and dishwasher into the scullery. It is a lovely home, but I'd change up the color palette in the finishes to not gray. I'd mount the TV on the wall opposite the fireplace and figure out a furniture arrangement that works for both. it is so nice to not have the primary cosets accessed through the bathroom. No one in my house drinks enough wine to justify a wine room, but I could sure find a suitable way to utilize that space. There are so many options for my sewing room!
I absolutely really love the layout of this place and the exterior of it. I think my favorite feature is the stand-alone tub in the shower in the master bathroom. I love the built-ins throughout, the floating shelves throughout, and the back patio. I also love how it flows on the main level of the home. Hope y'all have a Happy Thanksgiving and stay safe.🦃🦃🦃
Nice house. Maybe that bumpout in the dining area can be used to place a buffet table for holiday serving, otherwise a nice rustic bench for additional seating? So spacious!!!
You were wondering about all the black iron gridded glass doors in another recent video. They became popular again this wave because lots of the wealthy were seeing them in older places in France. They imported real vintage doors, but brought back the style trend.
I thought the dining room table looked off. Then the bump out, maybe a window seat?...I would prefer the dining table closer to the picture window myself. Hmmm...
TIMOTHY?? THIS HOUSE IS ULTRA COOL!! VERY DIFFERENTLY MADE! WIDE OPEN AND SPACIOUS!! IT SEEMS LIKE THE ROOMS ARE GETTING MORE AND MORE LARGER!! IF YOU HAVE A LOT OF FURNISHINGS AND OTHER THINGS?? YOU WILL HAVE PLENTY OF SPACE FOR IT!! THANK YOU!!
5:45 I don’t like the wood trim around the grey stone on the fireplace. U think they should have used a black register to match the metalwork. The book-matched stone is a nice touch though.
Beautiful!!! The only thing that oddly stands out to me is the heat vents on the floor. They seem to be in spots where furniture could go. Not sure why that's jumping out to me on this one.
13:37 all I can think of his how many times kids would rush in and hit themselves against those open pegs on the drop zone. I foresee lots of wailing kids.
The black house across the street from this one was one of my favorite houses on the 2023 Parade of Homes in Raleigh. This neighborhood is transitioning/elevating one house at a time, as this location (close in to the center of the city) is highly coveted and convenient. I toured this home and thought it was okay, but it wasn't anywhere near my favorite of the parade. One thing in particular is that I thought that they could have done a better job of unifying the pendant fixtures in the open plan.
It’s satisfying to open drawers and things in model homes. Keep doing it.
I love the layout of this home, refreshingly different 😊
Wine thing can go for more kitchen.
I agree
Timothy you've continued to amaze us with viewing sensational homes all over the U. S. Keep it up, your channel is amazing!
Rare these days when you walk into a house with the kitchen right there. I like the courtyard style garage, too.
I also like courtyard style garages too, but I would prefer it to be on the right side!
This is my dream home❤
Gorgeous home god bless Best regards anja

Would rather have a regular pantry. But, this is much nicer than the last house. Id definitely live in this one. :)

Hey Tim can you start opening all the cabinets and drawers and stuff instead of growing out of opening some of them

Nice
Watch out Tim, your checked shirt is gonna sneak out and make its own channel of house tours at this point. 😂
Good
Wow
Hey Tim how do I get you to come and tour my new custom built home in DFW area
Shoot Jen an email at jenn@timothyplivingston.com talking about Texas trip late winter early spring
You really have a thing for spice racks, don't ya? 😂
LOL, my thoughts too...need to find something else to focus on besides spice racks
Some trash drawers are nicer than others!
I do not like an all glass front entry door. No privacy and more importantly no security
Nope.
