  • We went to Capitol Reef National Park! From the main park, we travelled south 45 miles and found ourselves in the remote section of the Waterpocket Fold region. This video shows our hike from the Headquarters Canyon trailhead, which is 3.2 miles round trip and features painted red slickrock, slot canyons and a lush green canyon basin along the way. A true showcase of the beauty of southern Utah!

We got so lucky- the weather was low 70s, sunny, and beautiful every day on our trip. Late April is the perfect time to be in Utah!

Thanks for watching! The south end of Capitol Reef is an amazing place- almost no visitors and some truly spectacular sandstone formations. We can't recommend it enough!
