a claro este video esta ya previamente en youtube en solo dios sabe que canal, cando lo quise ver devuelta por aqui no estaba, por suerte lo tenia en mi compu y lo subi porque me parece algo para que todos disfruten
Raining blood 0:24
5) Phantom of the opera 1:28
4) Dissident Aggressor 2:02
3) Don't Burn The Witch 3:30
2) Jump the fire 4:09
No remorse 4:46
1) Fucking Hostil 5:41
Kerry King and Marty Friedman playing a Metallica song that was written by Dave Mustaine.
+Javi yeah, jump in the fire was pretty cool!
No remorse wasn't written by Mustaine tho.
there's a missing band on your comment... oh yeah it's Anthrax. now i know why they aren't considered part of the big 4 LOL
70% of Kill 'Em All was Mustaine
70% ? Lmfao, I love how people are talking out of their ass... Out of 10 songs from the album, Dave has writing credit on 4 of those. And that doesn't mean he wrote the whole song, he contributed on part of it, just like Hetfield and Ulrich did, so all 3 of them get credit for the song. So, 10 songs, 4 writing credits (not full song, but maybe riffs and solos, think it's mostly solos) how the hell you got to conclusion that's 70% of album? Because just like most of the internet, instead of doing your own research and use some logic, you are jumping on Mustaine-train that he wrote most or all of the album. I love Megadeth, they are for me the best after Metallica, but come on...
Javi Still Metallica...
Its so surreal to see Kerry King and Marty Friedman jam to Metallica together
on a japanese tv show nonetheless
newsflash: Kerry can't play Hotel California
And why should he ?
Because it sucks
Kerry king is the definition of metal boomers. Think slayer is heaviest band ever and cannot play other music genre besides metal
How can a guitar player not know how to play chords
Bm F# A E G D Em F# = hotel California
@@theguynextdoor8234 listen to the live acoustic version. Its one of the best live songs I've ever seen.
-and we would always pla-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-y * *Kerry.exe has stopped working* *
もっとこういうテレビやって欲しい
Love the solo Marty played on top of that open E chugging.
open E shugging is japanese for kerry king.
dissident aggressor by jp
Heard nowhere that Kerry King could not speak Japanese. Well no one knows. if he does you would eat back your words though.
"Every time they'd come to town, I'd go on stage and play with 'em. And we'd always plaEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH"

kerryking.exe has stopped working
Awesome. Thumps up to Kerry and Marty. Much respect to Japan and it's people. Domo Arigato.
Chuloloc mr roboto
guys keep this in mind ... dave mustaine wrote the early days guitar parts of metallica, taught kerry king how to play so influenced also slayer somehow and, last but not least, wrote the most face-melting and bombarding riffs of history with megadeth and made this band the best ever in thrash metal ... so that man is a big deal
Patrizia Moscardi I
Patrizia Moscardi by your logic shouldn't it be Lars and James that's the big deal I mean if it wasn't for them Dave wouldn't write the song and slayer would've never written their song too
Patrizia Moscardi Just a few songs from Kill ‘Em All and a couple of riffs from Ride the Lightning
Dave also taught James some important guitar techniques used in Metallica
in 3 seconds marty came up with a better solo for a slayer song than any solo written by the slayer guys XD
Bullshit. Slayer solos fit their songs in the best possible way, even if they are not the best solos on their own
@@BardockPOL yeah, cuz slayer songs sucks as much as they solos do
@@lucasu.5329 dude, you have covers of hotel california and guns and roses lmao, just shut up
@@BardockPOL 💯
@@lucasu.5329 Ya they just winged it for 37 years!!
4:42 all Marty says when Kerry is praising Mustaine is "yeah yeah"...
King said Mustaine inspired him and Freidman got PISSED OFF.
haha, I noticed that too. Kerry was talking about Mustaine ripping leads, and Marty just mutters "yeah, yeah..." to push the question aside. Funny, but I wished there weren't bad blood between Friedman and Mustaine.
Why wouldn't Kerry say Mustaine though? Kerry was doing double duty in Megadeth for a short time.
Mustaine is a massive douche but the guy can write some bitching riffs. Megadeth always had some sick riffs.
SI͘͡Ś͝OR͘̕U҉̕E̡N I know right. His songs are great (I can take or leave the vocals though) but he is so obnoxious and arrogant about it. No wonder he has either pissed off or fucked over every band member. He even managed to piss Dave Eleffson off.
I doubt it...Friedman is a god and they are mortals
Hey I really wanted Kerry to play hotel California!!!
I wanted him to play smoke on the water
666mathew Imagine If Kerry would play Acoustic
Marty playing "Rainin' Blood" riff - priceless.
lol Marty didn't enjoy the Mustaine comment too much
The truth hurts, hahahahahaha
+ktmeric1985 Marty tries to keep his cool about Mustaine though.
he was like: yeeeaah...
Kerry king is a cool dude who is an awesome rhythm player. Honestly i dont see the mechanical aspects people bitch about as opposed to spot on riffing.
Lol. I guess in this century playing rhythm on time and not shredding all the time is "bad". Seeing how a lot of players time isn't that great out of their album, i like that kerry king is a monster in this respect. Too spot on.....smh
Never said you mentioned shredding. He plays his genre well enough. If he's mechanical on your end then fine. Its all better than the modern crap that exists today (some metal today is good)
MementoRuin The same people who criticize Kerry for his lead playing (which isn’t great, even he will admit it) are the same people who bitch about Malmsteen shredding all the time. Envy is a powerful emotion.
This is how Megadeth and slayer sounds together
King was in Megadeth doe.
- Sir, I have a rudimentary knowledge of late 90s Photoshop
- Then you shall be our chief artist
it would certainly work. Photoshop still works the same, and used for the same reasons.
i'm in love with kerry's tone there
Marty: what’s your fav band?
Kerry: ahh i love slayer and im in the band
Dave might write the most of the songs but he always lets his lead players write their own stuff for each track.
so does james hetfield🤣🤣
日本の番組で、ケリーとマーティンが!高校時代ライブで見た二人が、こんな所で!ヤバいなんてもんじゃないな
It was so cool seeing them both play raining blood together
Marty's soloing doesn't work over Slayer riffs.
The Judas Priest cover solo was crazy.
Ty Manning yes it does
+DubiousDevil Not really. Never said he was a bad guitar player, I don't think his style fits Slayer.
it so so
@@tymanning2832 Well, you'll noticed he didn't audition for Slayer. It's a tv show and also it does fit very well, perhaps just not what you wanted to hear but I think it sounds fantastic. Unlike King and Hanneman, Marty is intentional with his solos. He doesn't just 'button-mash' all over the fretboard.
I loved Kerry King's humor! What a card!
I love Marty. His playing made Rust in Peace what it is.
so much awesomeness in one video
Marty Friedman is such a hipster
Becoming a weeaboo before it was cool
+GrayearlMusic hahahaha
+GrayearlMusic It has never been cool.
+Walamonga 1313 exactly XD
Marty isn’t really a weeb. Weebs usually are interested in Japan based solely on their anime obsession. Marty has said he doesn’t even like anime.
@@Bumra He's kinda a weaboo, a weaboo is a person who is obsessed with japanese culture, even tho they aren't japanese
wow Kerry king is very good ! excellent harmonies by Marty also :)
The show's called Rock Fujiyama.
Demasiada grandeza junta!!
Such amazing tone, KK has.
Slayer's atonal solos fit their riffing perfectly. Marty is way too musical.
well yeah, they have very different styles
I know exactly what you mean. Your right!!
That raining blood solo always amazes me❤
3:11 marty rips out some badass riff from heroes end
What a world we live in 🥰
Bien pibe bien, gracias por subirlo
First that Raining Blood made me very happy, second Kerry is an amazing Rhythm player but his "solos" are atrocious. But King and Friedman need to record something together.
Slayer vs Megadeth
Barry Dompor megadeth all day
Was so excited hearing Kerry's story about Dime and Vince until the damn video got cut!!
Kerry and Marty what a killer combo 🙌🏽🔥
That harmony for No Remorse is sick
6:13 wtf xd, whats happen to Kerry King
like
Bug xdxdxd
Dank
slayer glitching towards retirement bro
Marty still has the Megadeth tone when he plays raining blood
Marty always sounds like Marty. It's megadeth that took his tone. That's probably Marty's longest lasting legacy in megadeth
05:27 makes my day hahaha !!
1:00 Like... Kerry, learn when to stop.
Marty doesn't know a single riff but learns it on spot ... xD
Doesn't know 'a single riff'.lol He didn't know which ones Kerry was going to jump into if that's what you mean. I think he knows his riffs pretty well.haha
Marty tendria que hacer un disco con slayer y otro mas con megadeth jajaja
Este video deberia estar en canales oficiales, como el de Slayer, MF o uno personal de Kerry King, pero es tan bueno que te mereces un like.
Marty is the type of guy that you show your cool riff to and totally blows you off when he does it better.
RainingBloodかっけええええ
なにこの贅沢な番組
1:15 Coldest intro ever 🔥
元MEGADEATH(ケリーはインディーズ時代のヘルプ)2名の対談でもあるからなぁ。
The most melodic thing to ever happen to that song just happened.
Hah, didn't think I'd ever see Kerry King and Marty Friedman play Metallica riffs together.
Dave during the Buenos Aires show: "I bent over backwards to let Marty play his Egyptian scales." He has never dictated what the soloists played, even now he lets Chris Broderick just do what he wants.
This needs to be a thing...
NirvanaSucks in America.
I wouldnt expect Kerry king to be open to anything other than metal and Marty has way more feel than him, listen to the leads Martys improvising on the spot compared to the mechanical crap Kerrys playing. Kerry was able to ride the wagon steered by Hanneman.
Kerry is a rhythm guitarist lol.... You can't have two dudes playing two different leads
Desmond Odom Never said a guitarist has to play leads to be considered a good guitarist. Read my comment again you 12 year old idiot. Kerry just does not have the feel for the guitar that Marty has and this is because of his limited musicianship
+Grimeyhoob your an idiot for assuming that Kerry wasn't open to other genres of music... You have to understand, Kerry is a metal guitarist. Metal is not a very complicated genre. People bitch about him raping the G string but so did Dimebag, so did Iommi. To say that that made them any less of a player would put you in the wrong. If want to listen to something complicated go listen to Classical or something
Desmond Odom Metal is not a complicated genre? You fucking kidding me right? Metal has more subgenres and subtypes than any other type of music. Bands like Opeth and Neurosis play the most technically complex stuff known to man, second only to classical music. Look at the subgenres metal has spawned and tell me it isnt complex. Black metal, thrash metal, metalcore, crossover metal, death metal, swedish death metal, progressive metal, djent, doom metal, stoner metal, southern metal and the list goes on and on.
>Opeth and Neurosis play the most technically complex stuff known to man
wrong, go listen to Planet X's 4 albums and come back to me
lol Marty is Kerry's Direct Opposite in lead guitar playing.
Marty just improvised a solo outta his ass for raining bloods triplet galloping played by the big man himself
yea Kerry king so fucking awesome hell yea....Slaaaaaayeeeeeéer.
I guess it's fitting because they both at one time where in megadeth
Wearing sunglasses indoors gives me douche-chills.
slayer.... 25 years of the sloppiest fucking most repetitive guitar solos ever..yes thats a legacy
fuck slayer
Shut the fuck up, fucking stupid
still created some of the most iconic metal songs and albums. deal with it.
Fuck, him playing Don't Burn The Witch makes really want a Slayer cover of it.
I like those Kerrys guitars top =) they're so cool!!!! =)
Marty killed every Slayer solo with that one & he wasn't even trying 😂
Kerry King.... Plays some same old mundane riffs yet boasts as if he is up to par with Marty... That "hotel California" was a epic way from Marty to show Kerry who stands where... Typical Marty :)
To be fair, Kerry has never proclaimed to be the best guitarist. In fact, about 70% or more of Slayer's solos were played by Jeff or Gary. Even then he has once said that guitar solos are really an afterthought when writing songs. That's why Slayer solos are chaotic. He is, however a very tight rhythm guitarist.
+prataksha gurung I don't know about that, that slayer riff is real fast for most guitarists.
nah son. That riff is playable for intermediates. Marty is a master
You do realise that Kerry was joking and that was probably scripted right?
Oh yeahhhhhh! :O
2 maestros en la guitarra
Kerry king turns into a robot at the end XD
We know who the real King of guitar 🎸 is here 😂
*I wish they played 'Don't Burn The Witch' the whole way through*
I wish they played Witching Hour
He is "epicness" it self
yeah yeah yeah
Shit!!! That right hand is fucking quick!!! That speed......
"FUCKING SLAYER"
And we'd always PLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY-
yeah, k bn video!
Fair enough. However, I'm just saying that I love his playing on that record.
Good god, Marty is still a metal god! There is an opening in Slayer (ducking for cover). Seriously, though, glad that Holt came in to tour for Hanneman's spot. He can't be replaced, only substituted for.
King can play anything. That is his thing. Marty can make anything sing. That is his thing.
Metallica. Yawn. Mustaine. Holy Fuck Yeah.
+sdkee Metallica is awesome, but you're right, let's focus on what's different. Everyone aspires to Metallica and now their sound is very cliche. tired of it.
4:57 and in that moment, Marty didn't know what note to play.
BESTU FIVEU!
masters
Marty is the best guitarist.Kerry can play some simple power chords and just do simple fingering techniques on his fret board-Inger,India
1:49, "that's a pretty bitching song", I lol'd
-and we'd always plAAAAAAAA.
Imagine if Marty asked him to play Wonderwall.
Elton John, the Eagles🤣
I also want to see this program.
The awkward moment when Kerry had to hum no remorse to remember its name
3:24 Kerry really said "I'm gonna end this man's career" 😂 btw both Saints In Hell and Heroes End are the two most underrated Priest songs
I like that Marty give raining blood a real solo 0:38 😊
That was hilarious. He tries to do some Slayer-style chromatic stuff, but quickly reverts to his own melodic thing. 😂
I just came here to listen to Heroes End's riff.
he stated that he got tired of playing metal music and felt that he could not evolve as a musician. In an interview with Ultimate-Guitar. com in March 2007 , he claimed that he wanted Megadeth to move towards a more aggressive sound and that he'd rather have been playing straight pop music than the pop-influenced metal Megadeth was playing at the time
SLAYER is very COOL
Reign in blood will always be in my top 5 but it'd awesome to hear a full version with Dave mustaine on lead and maybe even marty freidman too, also Dave Lombardo, Steve DiGiorgio... And Angus young on rhythm guitar..lool
In all seriousness I'd want kerry on lead
no remorse
ほっこりするな
"I play in fucking Slayer"
