@Crimson Idol A lot of super talented and influential shredders and melody players ( not so much song-writers per say, just pure guitarists ) were mixed in that LA hair metal scene that's for sure, all of them playing a great variety of different sounding blazing solos, although I was never a big fan of the fundamental songs themselves. Don't forget Richie Kotzen and Michael Angelo Batio. Out of the 80s and early 90s thrash metal scene, I only see the Megadeth guitarists ( Marty, Poland, Mustaine ) and Alex Skolnick from Testament being talked in the same sentence as those 80s Sunset strip guitarists as far as sheer guitar musicianship goes.
That said, it's too bad how so many of the late-80s / early-90s technical thrash guitarists have gone under the radar, like: -Toxik's Josh Christian -Coroner's Tommy Baron -Watchtower's Ron Jarzombek -Obliveon's Martin Gagné & Pierre Rémillard -the Stützer brothers in Artillery
The guitarist for Warrant had good chops but the record label wanted easy and sleazy during the glam years. Uncle Tom's Cabin is classic. Cinderella also put out a pretty heavy album during the mid-90s once the glam scene was done.

What he said was that Anthrax was going through lots of problems and if they couldn't do it then Machine Head would fill in, which is true they were still stuck between Bush and Belladonna and other stuff too. Luckilly they patched things up and are great. Oh and Anthrax is probably one of my favorites from the Big 4. But Kill'em All ruled our back out in the country side Kansas parties. I got into Slayer pretty heavily in 8th grade,which should've 9 th grade. But my mom moved us around 1 yr a lot,so I was held back. I had a Slayer South Of Heaven tee, I wore 1x a week. This tiny little girl ,would come up it seemed almost everyday & ask if I was a devil worshipper after lunch,on the way back to class. I would always say no. One day out of just tired being asked this,I said Yes! She ran off to the kids who walking before us in line & never asked me again. People always believe what they want to about a person,no matter what they say.
I suffered a rectal prolapse yesterday. The stench has been unbearable. My husband is having to sleep with his head out of the bedroom window. It's his fault though. He was being too energetic with the frying pan handle.
