Even though healthier foods might be more expensive, that extra spending over 20 years time still won't equal your cost of bypass surgery and recovery AFTER insurance pays their share.
It really feels like they were reaching in this video. Their biggest concern always seemed to be the nutrition/lack of nutrients. High calories and sodium don’t qualify as “nasty.” Moldy food, nasty. Freezer burn, nasty. Bug parts, nasty. High sugar/fat/sodium levels, not nasty 🤦♂️
I'm curious as to if you compared them to national brands or are you just trying to damage Walmart? Because I'm sure there's not really much difference between them
Don't eat sugar, don't eat processed meat, Don eat frozen foods. What the hell is left? I think you guys are getting a little palm scratch for pushing these whole foods. I say eat what you like, and screw the rest!
I was craving fried chicken and I am home bound. I ordered fried chicken from Wal-Mart and it was the worst ever. It tasted like it had been fried in year old grease and was hard and dry with no flavor! I was so disappointed!
Yet another video where Mashed propagates the misinformation about fat and cholesterol. Why don't they talk about the chemicals and seed oils? At least they discuss the sugar.
Misinformation? Saturated fat and cholesterol are proven killers when consistently consumed in high amounts. "Seed oils" might be the source of the saturated fat. That can't be emphasized enough. I learned it the hard way.
There are two different kinds of food on earth, undigested and predigested. The English language doesn't have a word for the energy of life you get from eating fresh-picked.
Don’t ever buy Walmart meat. It’s terrible. I see people buying that crap “tube” of ground beef… wth is wrong with you people?!?! Do yourself and your family a favor. Go to a butcher for your meat
SAD BUT TRUE, most of these products are made by national brands. The only difference is altered or "Imbalanced" ingredients and the packaging. They "co pack" these products, usually at the beginning or end of a large production run. Ingredient "imbalance" is common on a production line. One example when I was at H.C. Brill, they were running carrot cakes. The beginning and end rejects went to Walmart, Winn Dixie, Ingles and a few others. The middle run was for Whole foods, Publix and others in that "price tier". Don't be surprised that Red Baron, Totino's Jimmy Dean, Stouffers (yuck), State Fair, DiGiorno, Hot Pockets, Tai Pai, Real good foods, Healthy Choice, White Castle and Tyson are a few of the players (or conglomerates) for this cheap, "Generic" food. Bon Appetite.
I never buy frozen stuff and most refridgerated foods. The only decent ones is the great value snacks. Party size wavy original chips is $1.45 where iam😮
I only shop ar Walmart cuz they are only place i can afford. i never buy Great Value brand though. Its alln to just bad. I read labels on everything. You have to be careful. Ive seen several ideis about Great Value brand. None good. Als9 aame with personal wxperience. These all sound awful. Thank you. EVERYONE needs to read labels in this day and time. Our foid is poisoning us.
That’s why Americans are obese, have high blood pressure and have diabetes. When you start reading labels, you are shocked by the ingredients. Not laying blame, I am one of them. Trying to be better. You can find inexpensive alternatives that taste fine.
has anyone ever torn off a small piece of cardboard from a box and put it in their mouth and started chewing on it and eating it? yeah ok, so shut up with that nonsense
Frozen or not, I have never ate anything that tasted good that was labeled "Great Value". Walmart spends the least to maximize their profit but their food choices should be avoided at all costs.
What do you think is Walmart's best frozen food item?
UR MOM!M!!!!!!!
Their sausage patties. Large enough to fill a bun.
Not everybody can afford Whole Foods
Exactly, I've been to Whole Foods. They're very expensive.
They are too expensive 😭.
Even though healthier foods might be more expensive, that extra spending over 20 years time still won't equal your cost of bypass surgery and recovery AFTER insurance pays their share.
@@timthegem starve in the meantime. Got it
@@timthegem get that silver spoon out of your mouth, boy. No one can understand ya. 😂
I lived off hot pockets and Toni’s microwave French bread pizza in the 90’s.

I agree, being 82 now and eat what tastes good, which wasn't covered in the review. Most comments were "beware of this, etc." Have a blessed day
I try to avoid buying *Frozen Foods* . 😊
SOMETIME SEVERE FOOD ALLERGIES CAN BE AN ACTUAL BLESSING IN DISGUISE! I can not eat one single item in this video, THANK GOD!
I don't know about their frozen foods. But their deli fried chicken is nothing to write home about.

@lisadeaton1772 It was so tasteless and hard. It was horrible.
My family likes it, so it gets eaten. That’s a win to me.
The great value pizza is great tastes like pizza I got in the cafeteria back in the 90’s
The sausage and gravy bowl is also 100% delicious.
The broken wood pieces in the corndogs were actually a slice of nostalgia for me.
Yes, that's precisely what's going through my head when I'm at Walmart, buying frozen foods. How will this affect my health?
Whole Foods? More like Whole Paycheck.
All frozen pizza taste like cardboard, frozen vegetables just as bad
Red barons pizzas are good.
I suppose they all contain Bioengineered products too!

I agree the breakfast bowls are pretty bad, pay a few cents more and get Jimmy Dean
We heat up the initial pizza in the oven. We really like it. The microwave ruins everything but potatoes.
I can honestly say I have never eaten any of these.

thanks for the info karen
Avoid EVERYTHING Great Value! 🤝🏾
Ha! We have half of this food in our freezer now. lol everything is so processed and nasty but you can only buy what you can afford.
GV brand of Stuffed Peppers is good though 🫑
One of the better GV brand offerings.. I enjoy these myself.
@@secretchannel4747 The sauce has a good herb flavor
When you wake up in tje middlw of the night that pizza works
The frozen fruit is pretty good, especially for making smoothies

LOL, I'm watching this right after attending a local Hamburger Festival! 🍔

I love that several of the images feature Canadian bilingual packaging. Vive le français!
Demand for products exist. Walmart sells it.
Complaining about the portion size when the company is trying to look out for your health because of how bad the things are. Lol.
I've not eaten any of these and don't think I ever will. Processed foods and seed oils is what is making people unhealthy; fat is good for you.
How many of these food protects contain Bioengineered food product? I would say all of them!

Stop buying soda high in sugar price skyrocket.
Great value makes the BEST pizza rolls. Way better than name brand.
Those brands aren't that bad and unless you're on a super strict diet, who cares?
I have had the GV breakfast bowls. Good
I also had GV burritos, these are garbage. Do not buy.
sounds like they all R great value typical that's the only food the poor can afford is cheap food
Why'd you have to expose me like that

The presenter seems overly obsessed with sodium, sugar and fat. Normal people are concerned with flavor.

GV ice cream is bretty good. I didnt see any hfcs in it either.

Great value products are made by major brands
Wait! You mean these foods are NOT on the balanced healthy meals list? 😱
There's no way I'd even consider buying any of that junk food.
Okay well clearly you’ve never been poor, also you’re a douche.
yeah.......that's a nasty brand.........need to get a better one walmart.........
These products are made by national brands and some are the exact same thing. Just different label.
