Thanks for the vid! My audio input on my HyperX, vintage 2018, broke and this had enough info for me to get the single jack switched out. Took me a bit longer than he showed, just simply cause I never soldered an audio jack and wanted to get it right. Maybe 40 mins of prep, after getting the supplies, and 10 mins of soldering.
Thanks for feedback. Next time I recommend you to make detachable cable mod and forget cable problems forever - ruclips.net/video/oCGDXCaN2f4/видео.html
Hello, Im having issues with HyperX Cloud 2, microphone very very low or not hearable at all. I tried to check connection with voltmeter, and connection is very bad. Is there any way that I can fix this
@@zaqarnage the items required are relatively common things outside of supplies needed for the repair, I can tell you I have all those items on-hand outside of the shrink wrap and replacement plug. You can pick up solder and iron in any price range and the rest of the items listed could be substituted with a variety of items with some imagination. I would say overall even if you had to buy all new tools, cheap ones, you'd prob be able to beat the price of a new hyperx headset.

Ese truco del final estuvo increíble 🤯
please eng :)
great video! but in my case the wires are different, i have an Hyperx Cloud X..
Do you know what wire color means on my case?
there is a white wire inside of a Golden wire. A red, a blue and a green.. what i need to do?
No, sorry, but you can use multimeter to find out colors or open headphones and see where wires connect.
Do the single Jack you replaced work even without the two cable reduction you showed ? (sound, mic)
of course, it's like standarts headset with one 3.5mm jack. when sound and mic works with one jack.

rewire or make detachable cable mod - ruclips.net/video/oCGDXCaN2f4/видео.html
I dont have number 4 on my new jack? The cloud 2 also didnt had it how should i solder can i send you pictures somewhere?
then you bought incorrect jack, just stereo.
@@TechscrewDIY i managed to get sound and mic works. Do i have no 7.1 now??
Does the hyperx cloud 2 have the same wires inside of it?
almost, for both cloud and clud 2 the best mod is the detachable cable - ruclips.net/video/oCGDXCaN2f4/видео.html
is the connection the same as cloud2 wired?
After this mod, they is like cloud 2.
Just by a new headset
why ? If you can get these "new" headset for less than $10.
@@TechscrewDIY no one has all this equipment
