It would've made more sense for Khaz Algar to be on the western side of Northrend and above Kalimdor since the Nerubian are more seen up there. If it's by Pandaria I'd expect more Klaxxi influence.
plus that.. how did eastern kingdom humans wined up there ???? still very stoked, we get a priory and some sick minded light worshippers like in castlevania :))
Tbf, in Pandaria, it was heavily hinted at that the Klaxxi were able to have communications with their Nerubian kin. I might even say I'd expect the Klaxxi to maybe even have a boss in the raid tbh.
Pandaria is not an actual island linked through the ground where the nerubians are digging through. There is lore about nerubians expanding half azeroth.
What I didn't like about Zaralek caverns wasn't necessarily the underground aspect, but that everything is mostly just... Lava. These zones look much more interesting imo
Yeah. Tbh all the zones were kinda one note in dragonflight. A lot were even in classic, but theres a balance between too dense and just dense enough. Revendreth was awful in shadowlands becaus le it just felt so cramped and annoying to get around in.
My main worry is the airlock tech. I can't fly into Zaralek through Azure Span cuz every time I go 'too fast' my character gets stuck and I have to close and reload WoW. I don't want a whole expansion of that lol

Although I congratulate you on the “pre alpha” clickbait, where literally everything you said, you’ve said it already previously on other videos where there’s nothing new or relevant on what you said. I think the boatline from dragon isles in that graphic actually might be a more figurative thing saying we are leaving the isles (the dragonflight expansion) and not where we are physically going to leave from to start war within. I think using bel ameth would be really cool though since it is a neutral (as much as it can be) city and a good place for both alliance and horde to meet up before leaving.
To be fair all zones look amazing but just looking at Hallowfall i think that will be my all time favorite zone it looks absolutely fenomenal. Feels like Revendreth infused with arathi and scarlet monastery

a few more expansions and we'll realise that Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms were actually land linked by the countless islands there seem to be in this ocean ...
I love the new philosophy of wow zones in retail now. Just make these zones massive asf. Nobody even cares if there are places in the zone that serve no purpose at all, just throw a few mobs there and it just makes the world few so much cooler.
100% the shard in Hallowfall is a "Shard of Light" that was flung out into the cosmos when the Light and Shadow clashed in the dawn of history. They seeded worlds with life. I bet this one in particular created our worldsoul and the elementals. Some of those Shards of Light coalesced into great clouds of Light in the cosmos, from whence creatures like the Naaru appeared. This would explain why the crystal seemingly has similar properties to those of a Naaru, oscillating between a Light form and a Shadow form over time. Xal'atath no doubt sees this as an opportunity to strike. Once the Shard turns completely dark, she will usher in "Midnight". Some 800 years ago, upon sensing Xal'atath making her ascent towards the surface after being lost below the seas for thousands of years, the Shard probably sent its visions to the Arathi then living in Avaloren, west of Kalimdor. Some of those Arathi answered its summons, and made their way to Khaz Algar where they ended up stranded in Hallowfall. Over time, they formed their own community and faith dedicated to the protection of the Shard. But the proximity of Azj-Kahet soon caused problems. You see, underneath Azj-Kahet remain hidden the ancient roots of Elun'Ahir, the first World Tree on Azeroth, once torn out from the world by Aman'Thul. Nearby is also a pool of Old God blood, left behind by the dead Old God Y'Shaarj. Combining these two latent energies, Xal'atath has been able to evolve the Nerubians of Azj-Kahet into more powerful forms. For hundreds of years, they've been tasked with attacking the Arathi of Hallowfall, in order to snuff out the Light and claim the Shard.
Cmon chief, i get its slow for wow news rn and you got family to look after but dont sacrifice your credibility with this low level clickbait, be better and try think outside the box
Ok maybe I missed a prior mention in the "OMG DELVES AND FOLLOWER DUNGEONS" hysteria that made me scramble to resub after two years away, but this is the first I've heard of the Arathi being ANTAGONISTS! I love me some "awful good" baddies, can't wait now!
Huge missed opportunity for Blizz to introduce an actual new Human race. In WoW there really is only 1 human race, unlike in games like Elder Scrolls where there are several different human races, such as the Bretons, the Nords, the Imperials and the Redgards. These are all human races but each have their own unique racials, cultures and even skin colors. Blizzard could have done something similar, like introducing a group of humans that splintered off long ago and settled elsewhere and became their own seperate race, such as a dark-skinned desert-dwelling human race, much like the Redgards. Yes, I know we are getting the Arathi that is a splintered-off faction that settled elsewhere in the War Within, but they are just the same humans we are used to but with a slightly different culture, not the same as what I was talking about. While I appreciate them adding a dark-skinned customization option for humans, it seems a bit odd and doesn't really make sense with the lore, so adding an actual dark-skinned human race would have been a better option if you ask me. Same with a few other human races.
I'm so excited by the parallel implementation of delves! They're just... part of the game now, on a level with dungeons! I can't wait to play a WoW where delves are dominant, and I'll stay as long as they and follower dungeons are supported as such!
My impressions of the whole underground thing not feeling like it's underground, is it will basically be like an outside world zone with a different skybox. Instead of blue sky and clouds and what not, it will be a more solid/rock-like texture. Other than that it will play the same.
I personally dislike underground zones, but something tells me that I'll be able to endure it by going back to my usual legacy farming mixed with the "current" content at the time.

I really hope WoW makes a huge comeback and becomes the overwhelming 800lb gorilla it once was, which I felt like had gone to sleep since the ending of wotlk and had started to slowly reawaken once again with dragonflight. It's not until I took a few years break from wow to play many other mmos and various games that I realized how good WoW really is. For me, it's the combination of its smooth combat and the improvements on class agency that are really impressive. I loved ff14 but after a while I realized I was only technically playing 3 jobs...tank, healer, or dps...well technically 4, BLU. As for WoW the classes have so much variance between how they're played and to top it off the smoothness of the gameplay is second to none. Just for these 2 reasons alone I'm actually thinking of getting back into WoW once again after a long break. The War Within is already seeming to be another step in the right direction to reawakening the 800lb gorilla and im freaking excited!
