My guess is they tuned it and ecotune is just an agent for tvs?
You need to add a 1/2 mile race to the event.
Nothing going to keep up with a Turbo S and a tuned one hell no. Any car would need 1300+hp to beat it or be close to 1000hp Turbo S

That RS3 is insane think that’s the closest battle we’ve seen against the es motor 911. Big up ecotune seen some big power cars there.

@@nickveginis2210 the Porsche was running r888r semi slicks on the rear.. the RS3 was running Michelin pilot sport 4s. Which are street tyres, not slicks. If he was on slicks he’d have run a lower 9/sub 9 1/4

The fact that the RS3 kept up so close with an evenly powered 911 with huge semislicks in the rear pushed down by the weight of the engine, is F-ing INSANE!

Awesome close race, two absolute monsters, RS3 has the roll and Turbo S has the launch. I think all the results were fair in the end but Rubais is the man for getting those reactions 😅
Looked like the rs3 had rolling launch on the last race which gave him the edge.
The Turbo S had already got the jump on him over the line and he managed to pull it back. They were so close we're splitting hairs anyway.

Shout out to the guys at ecotune, I live not far from them and had my B8 S4 in there couple of months ago for the TVS S2+ tcu tune. Guys know their stuff and genuinely care about the work they do and their customers' cars. Will definitely be back next spring to get them to fit a cat back milltek ;)
As for that porsche, the reaction times and the launch of that thing was totally rock solid, but the mid range punch of the RS3 ftw!
Made for cracking viewing, not much between these cars except for the 0-60, the porker just walked that.
Despite hitting 0-60 in well under 2.5 secs and coming well down the bottom half of a leaderboard I'd still be more than chuffed with the RS3!

The 911 is in R888 on the rear and the RS3 was in street ryres. If it had same tyres the RS3 would have done better and lower 1/4

As Epic as that 991.2 is, the RS3 appears to have seats in the back and was running street tyres hence there's more in the tank. Plus it seemed like the the 911 was pulling away slightly early on 1/4 and roll, or maybe faster reactions 🤔

@@SoxiArts Yes bro, at low rpm the single turbo takes a long time to fill, now in the Turbo S it's Biturbo so Porsche has an advantage.

@@carecaone8238 rs3 also hot a smaller engine, spooling a big turbo with a small engine will create turbo lag. the 911 also has the engine in the back pushing down kn the rear wheels. when taking of the pressure on the rear tires is huge, thats why turbo's porsches accelerate srupid fast, even stock.

Very surprising even as a RS3 fanboy I am blown away with how fast this example is I’ve seen this car before but putting it VS an ES Porsche really does showcase what a monster it is as these tuned Turbo’s are blisteringly fast, massive big up to both Ecotune and ES 🙌🏻

Respect for both cars here. It's insane what these new cars / technology can do. I have a 2018 RS3 and sometimes they are a bit delayed when launching compared to the 911. No excuses just mind blowing performance

Loads of people commenting on the Audi drivers reactions . Audi launch control has a slight delay . As soon as you let your foot off the brake pedal there’s a small delay then it launches. Also it’s running a precision 76 turbo which is massive probably low boost compared to how high it can be turned up. Comparing a big single turbo to a twin scroll with one smaller turbo the Porsche was always going to get the jump

man fucking insane the porsche is 400 lbs heavier and has less power!! also not to mention the porsche driver looks 10x more calm and relaxed and effortlessly goes compared to the audi. but towards the end of the races the -400 lbs and extra horsepower on the audi shows
There is no 400lb difference. It was clearly a mistake in the video . Rs3 sedan weights pretty much the same as 991 TTS , around 3550lbs

Amazing video, I’m a massive Porsche fan and have had 6 different Porsche turbos’. The RS3 was sick! I think the Porsche just needs a little weight to come off, it was a lot heavier than the RS3.
