It’s because the V10 is essentially two 5 pot blocks put together. Hank Iroz talked about how quite a few of the part numbers are the same between the 5 and 10 cylinder engines. Slightly different firing order but enough to sound similar.
Once again Jamie does not disappoint what a line up that R8 is stupid fast but I always favour the 5 cylinders because with the right exhaust and setup they sound absolutely crazy and go like stint so I would pick the TTRS all day long

That 3rd roll race was epic! I was a little surprised the TTRS struggled in the 1/4 mile as launched better both times and was pulling better in the roll race. Things starting to heat up?

such a nice race and tt was using 99 octane not e85 or racing fuel like r8. With proper drag strip tt would be low 9 or high 8 1/4. With e85 or racing fuel this would be less than 3s 100-200. Still there is potential for tt. R8 is sick too.

The R8 is accelerating before the line and crossing at approximately the same time but with the advantage of an increased velocity this is like a runner reaction time being too close to the shot and a technical cheating thats why the R8 seems to sling shot the first 10 metre...
I got the mk2 vr6 tt and I wish I could modify it but it’s big money and at 120000 miles the motor would have to be rebuilt b4 putting that much power but if I do it I can race my gf mk1 gated r8 v8 and win unless she modifies it with a good old turbo 😅 lol 😂 I Leave it stock for now let her have the faster ride 😂🙄

It was 2° traction was the issue, I didn't tweak the map for the conditions I just drove 350 miles raced then drove home again lol
