I was at the ring in my 8P recently in May, zero brake fade on the Reyland 380mm discs and PBS ProRace pads with braided lines and RBF660 fluid, granted it wasn't pushed as hard as this but I was at around 70% of the car's capabilities. Also I'd say a DAZA hybrid would be better for the power delivery and response at similar power levels.
@@stoni8566 Yup. You are unlikely to find someone willing to take a LFA to the ring for a lap. For a start it would likely be quite difficult to get insurance. Then theres the issue of risk of the car getting damaged etc. Someone may take their car to the track for a fun drive but they wouldnt be able to give it to Misha for a lap for insurance and damage risk. Misha is a fantastic driver BUT accidents can happen whether caused by an error by Misha or another driver on track.
even has the big turbo lag that the group B cars did. Supposedly they had to hammer the gas half way thru any curves if they wanted any boost at the exit while riding the brakes, and hope the grip would hold.
Yay I wasn't ready for it 😶. I saw the red line on the gauge, I thought "OK ok, low rpm, but it's turbocharged, you know the deal"... And BOOOM, 8k! It surprised me completely. That's for sure a mad tuning
If you look up IMS1000 there are a number of these spinning over 9k, built bottom end of course but up top all it takes is valve springs and retainers. Audi really overbuilt these EA855 DAZA Evos

What a beast! Not a fan of your manoeuvre at 8:21. So the guy in the Cupra made a mistake, but why risking a collision with somebody else’s car just to proof a point to the Cupra driver. Somebody in your position with your experience doesn’t need to proof a point in such a risky way IMO. Why taking the risk? Be the bigger man that you are. In your own car with no passenger it’s not a smart move. In someone else’s car and owner in the car, it’s selfish. Don’t want to sound like an ass, but with over a million followers you are an example to a lot of people. So please show good example. There are already to many casualties on track and in normal traffic because of bad examples. Stay safe.

But my point is, it is not Misha’s responsibility to teach the Cupra driver anything. It is his responsibility to keep the owner and the owners car safe during a lap. And btw, why should I be concerned about the Cupra driver. You can’t teach people by overtaking him aggressively, he will probably won’t get the message. There are better ways to do that, if you are persistent to try to teach him anything.

Pretty standard these days mate. Most boosted track cars with decent size turbos are eating revs for the pressure. See them hitting 8s and 9s all the time. They are not built for 0-60. Power band is high and the pressure needed is gained through high rpm

Turbo is too big for track use... nothing happens under 5500 rpm. a smaller turbo, with less top end power, but more torque in der lower range would be much quicker i guess.

nearly nothing under 4000. If you like it you have much of Power. I think only 600hp ("only") but a Turbo wich react by 3000 is a bit more practical on touristenfahrten or on street. All in all i think a realy good build. Yes CR-S is a good choice. I use both, AR-1 and CR-S in 15" on a 600kg car and they are great.

Rs3 is the king all-rounder. Fully built engine and drivetrain. Impressive car. Front wheel drive bias, so understeer will always be evident.
As per usual, well driven - the rs3 is a little beast too, 5cyl sound is the best! great passenger too haha! love it
