Hi Lee. Have you seen any issues with parasitic motion on the gimbals? I'm now on my second unit with exactly the same issue. By parasitic motion I'm mean that when I move the throttle over the full travel I also get the yaw channel show +/-1.5. I've tried calibrating but no difference. By comparison my Taranis has no movement on yaw whatsoever when moving the throttle. If be interested to hear if you have any.
Any chance of a range test with the tango 2. Thinking of getting one but with it being 250mw just wondering on the range I will get with my wing.

That's exactly what happend to me. I already thought that I bricked my T2 as nothing was reacting anymore. I actually also opened the controller and removed the battery but still no luck. Then I started to sweating like a horse. ;) In the end I also found the same TBS ressource and I clicked the two back buttons and I was soooo releaved when the light turned on again. :D Great tip for those who go through the same update troubles! I bought mine from retail, it was not a preproduction unit.
It is a horrible feeling when you think you've just destroyed your latest investment. You get those cold sweats and a dry mouth! Glad you got yours working!

There is no way to backup/restore a model? It took me a long time to set up
I had a problem with this too. update progress bar stopped after a few percent. I kept right clicking the progress bar, each time I did it would move a little further up until it reached 100% at that point the controller rebooted and the connection screen came back on. I selected USB hid and waited. nothing happened so I quit agent x boot loader, reselected it and all the progress markers showed as having completed. I had the same experience updating the crossfire too. I can see it worked though as the version number on the unit has updated. Side note. I couldn't get the updater to work on my MAC. I could see the controller in system info but agent x (latest version) would not connect .

i do love the look of this.we are currently upgrading a couple of our radios with crossfire but having few issues at muinet with parcel cant track it and royal mail have no parcel for me but was posted 3 weeks ago.recievers and module.im guessing these have the module built in Lee.

How did you fix the constant boot screen? My Tango 2 does not fully start. ill hold down the button and the bars go from left to right then the TBS logo shows and turns off. :(
I have tried changing the SD card with a fresh download of the Tango2 SD Card content.
I'd contact your reseller for help. The SD card did it for me.. Best of luck
One question. Do you know how to add gps coordinates on the tango 2 screen? I can’t find anything on it. Thanks bud
You'll need a LUA script probably if you can't get it working with a telemetry screen setup. The Tango II setup in 'Open/FreedomTX' is the same as any of the other radios. See my videos on OpenTX telemetry.. Best of luck
Hey can you help me out with my tango 2: I am using it on my baby hawk 2 and my whoop. I just got the mark 5 and after binding it and arming it i get a weird problem; the i just nudge the throttle up and down it work fine but when i add more throttle the motors spool up very fast and when i try to bring the throttle down it doesn't slow it down. I'm forced to turn it off. And the weird thing is that it affected my other two drones in the same way, i tried to rebinding them , updating the tbs agent and copy to items to Script/tools when updating the sd card on tango 2. What the hell is wrong ? Very coincidental that this happened after binding to the new quad. What should i Do?
I'd check on the channel monitor to see if you can see the throttle moving cleanly from -100 to +100 first to rule out something wrong with the throttle sensor in the radio, try it on a new, basic model too. What troubleshooting have you already tried?
my computer is not recognizing my tango 2 , why is that?? it does give me the three options when i connect the usb c but once i choose joystick it doesn't recognize it. is it cuz im using a usb c cable that came with my wireless headphones for charging them

If you mean the R9M then I am not a fan. Crossfire is the best of the current low latency/longer range options about IMHO.
@@Painless360 Sorry, yes R9M lite or so, these red modules that were delivered with the X9D plus transmitter.

Just seen this video. Don't suppose you got and info on how to make the controller be recognised as a joystick gamepad in Windows 10. Mines saying it's unspecified and I can't use it in velocidrone.

Looked everywhere re my problem which is I can never get agent x or lite recognise my new tango 2. I can only get an orange dot, never green.

It did on this update. When it's supported by OpenTX officially then we will be able to use companion to save the model memories as usual between updates...
@@Painless360 That is certainly not normal. I Updated mine yesterday and all setups and models are there. Same as any other Freed....OpenTX radios. But thanks for heads up that it's possible. I only have 3 models SIM, Quads and Wings. BTW at 1:50 "...JumperTX portion..." ;)
