Both our vehicles, a 2019 Edge and 2020 F-250 apparently have APIM issues and have had them since they were new (both were custom orders). My wife's Edge goes halfway thru a USB upgrade and stops. Both vehicles have audio that stutters and stops when reading text or looking for POI and can take up to 30 seconds to respond or change radio channel. The one in my truck says "no PIO found" out of nowhere and I'm having an issue trying to switch the rear camera to the ball view. Tech says they both have APIMs going bad, but FDRS test will not fail them or give replacement code. They are both still under bumper-to-bumper warranty so replacement would be free. The dealer is trying to get warranty approved and customer service has told me to talk to customer warranty and get them to clear warranty replacement. I really don't want to keep having tech running tests until they finally do a FDRS failure, but the service manager said bring them in every week or two until we get FDRS to fail them. In talking with techs, they miss OASIS since they would show failures when issues like we have show up. Keep up the information and thank you.

It's not so much the data but more along the lines of shit modules
@@FordBossMe So you're saying that I need to keep getting them replaced until I get a good one? Still under warranty.
PS: I had no problems for 1 1/2 years prior to update.
Planned obsolescence
Good job buddy
Where do you live with all these cars you drive where the driver side is on the right side of car?😂
So in the editing app I can switch it around but I always forget to do it it's just a mirror effect of the camera that's all I'm just not going to go back and purposely make sure that I'm making everybody feel super comfortable watching the video because I forgot to do something it's just a mirror image flip
@@FordBossMe I wasn’t trying to give you hard time, just wondered about it
@@kineticenergy1085 I've been explaining this almost every other video for the last couple years so I hope you understand and gets a little Annoying to have to keep explaining it I know it's not what you intended to do but it gets annoying and then eventually you're just not nice about it anymore
@@FordBossMe all good man
Real junk. Have a 2019 Escape that won't update.
Go to bed 🛏 👍🏻
You sure?
I'll do a video for you
Make sure you look at the new videos today when I make it on how to get the apim
will do, thank you sir.
