I just bought a Bigshot because of this reason (easier embossing) I have an cricut explorer, so no embossing tool, but I do think this (die cut machines) is better. I haven't tried it yet, but I plan to do my own embossing folder with the help of the cricut, so I can mass produce designs faster in the bigshot.

Hi! I have recently subscribed to your channel, and love your videos! Do you know where I could buy a Cuttlebug in South Africa?? I saw one on gumtree but for that price I could literally buy a new cutting machine 😮
Welcome! They pop up on second hand groups sometimes (not this one I have, but others that are similar!) and they are usually priced between R1-2k, this is normal. Otherwise you can get a new go cut and emboss online (when back in stock) for somewhere around 2-3k, they are the normal prices :)
Do you know if the cuttlebug works with 3D embossing folders?
You absolutely can, you will just need to adjust your sandwich to fit the thicker folder!
