  • Kay Francis was a talented actress with much more to offer than being a stunning model for glamorous clothes. That said, from her 1930s peak and into the forties it’s undeniable that she was one of the most strikingly fashionable stars in classic movies. This collection of looks shows lots of patterns in the way Francis was dressed for the screen: mostly monochrome, simple gowns with bold details and fabrics, lots of pearls, loads of fur accents, and a touch of the masculine in many of the suits she wore.
