I own two 25s on my 50 gallon for 8 months now. I've had no problems with these pumps. I set it up and other than manually directing the flow i.e. rotating the individual impeller, I have not touched them. They are dead quiet and easy to clean. Now Ecotech MP 10s are IMO not worth the money. 3 wetsides I own developed fractured ceramic shafts within a year.
Maybe things changed over time but it took me like 15 minutes to connect 6 red sea devices to the app and it works flawless ever since. App is working fine too. Won't get any easier than that
Added a Nero 3 to my 20G this week an man is it rockin! Not even pumped it past 75% and it’s spinning up a storm, I thought it was just hype but they are great!

I run 3 of these red sea 45's in my cade 1800. I agree 100% on the app. It's shocking. However the reef waves are very good when set up and cleaning is very very easy.
Why use something you don’t like on your store tanks 😳, use something you do like 😄and tell us about the good, the bad, and the ugly, so your customers and subs can have a better experience with their own tanks, and save some money 💵 that definitely would be better all round, win win. 👍🏴
How do you like the rms slide? I have a Waterbox frag and adding a 3rd xr15. Debating using a 40” slide or just mount all 3 lights with their original mount
Sometimes, the 45 I heard is one of the easiest but they can replace like 2 to 3 powerheads so the time spent cleaning those 2 powerheads you can clean the gyre. So it evens out with time and effort.
This brand is really very low in games!!!! Absolutely avoided especially at the price we pay!!!!! it breaks down just after the warranty, the save is deplorable, they piss you off.... Nothing to give a damn about the customer!!. Do as you want but I'm just warning you about my experience (2 red sea wave 45 hs, plus a 90 lamp which flashes constantly)

I have a waterbox 50.3 and I’m looking at these as well. Two would be best? Also do you have them vertical or horizontal ?

He does do that? That's what the whole video is about. He loves the Nero's. I find the Nero's underpowered compared to the mp10s
Take mp10 off. Get another gyre. Sink one on each side of overflow. Need two. Icecaps way better. Ice caps rocks.

Bahaha yes the app is suuuch garbage for the reef wave. That made my day, I’m not alone! But once it’s set it’s pretty nice.
