awesome to see a shop that’s used for IO for a long time. seeing the growth & coloration of these sps is awe inspiring. i like how IO is very stable even after weeks. unlike other salts i’ve used before
Amazing video. Love seeing the growout tanks. Question: since you cut and sell out of this tank, how do you handle the needs of the corals since the overall bioload changes so frequently? Do you constantly change your dosing/feeding or do you just let the tank settle on its own?
I enjoyed this video Kenny. This tank always catches my eye every time that I'm in the shop. That sump detritus is like coral steroids. You should sell that stuff :)
Kenny, can you please do a video showing PAR levels of some of your tanks. I think most people would be surprised by a lot of coral growers numbers. I bet they are lower than some may think
Hi just come across your channel absolutely amazing, live in the uk so don't have growers like your self. Do you know anything about tulip polyp syndrome? Keep up the good work.
@@justinlee2688 Thank you for watching. Do you mean cancerous looking growth on tissues? We believe it’s bacterial related brought on by instability of traces.
Hey awesome video! Would you buy established life rock, means its at the store for a couple of months or brand new live rock? I want to do the same with growing sponges on the rock, this was live rock right or just man made rock, which developed over the time? Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
@@thecoralandfishguy Thank you for watching! I wouldn’t hesitate to buy live rock from any established systems, store or not. But the trick is to also acquire live rock rubble from multiple other successful reef tanks into mix as well.
Love your systems and the colors are amazing! Keep dropping videos.
Thanks for showing these off! Loved it!

Awesome! Thank you!
Cool shop! I’ve caught a number of good deals through their auctions, but their retail prices are quite high.
@@opethmike Thank you. We have corals of all price points! 😃
Awesome video Kenny! Going into the store to see these corals I never want to leave. I always learn something new! Thank you for sharing!

As we sell frags, more frags are made. So no we don’t adjust just let the tank settle.
Stunning sticks ❤ what levels do you run nitrates and phosphate?
I would give anything to have a marine store like yours close to me. I have to drive almost 2 hrs to even get to one.😢😢
very nice commentary Kevin, and as always, Kenny, you bring in the new biologist reef builders have Salem we have Kevin and Chris
Thank you. We have a good team.

Yes it could be, starts with the tissue blistering, and little to no upward growth.
Thanks for the reply.

Kenny is instant ocean parameters low or do you add to the salt to bring it up ?
