This is a premium cooler.. OEM is Coolit, and they failure rate are really low. I have a 8 year old H100i made by same oem and is still running great in my friend's system..

I bought the full LCD pump and it's so damn loud even on the quiet setting...The pump won't run any slower than 2200 rpm, how do you guys put up with the humming noise ?
Hey Prawn, I'm not sure if you'll catch this, but maybe someone else has noticed too. The AM4 retention bracket that you mount on the AIO is different than the actual required AM4 retention bracket. Your AMD install from June included different retention brackets that were designed to hook onto the motherboard's included retention system for the CPU. Has anyone figured out how to get the new retention system to work with AM4?
Great review and installation demo. Cheers from Australia 😎 I was thinking it was too expensive until I watched your video lol. The fact it has labelled parts bags and clear installation instructions via videos such as this and pre-applied paste, I think it's worth paying for one of the big brands. Having recently purchased the latest Arctic 360 RGB AIO which came with no instructions other than pointing you to a Gamers Nexus video on correct radiator placement which frankly went on so long it became confusing, they would have been better off pointing to Jay's 2Cents video explaining the Gamers Nexus video. The Arctic also had zero instructions on connecting everything else which made my build so frustrating and took far longer than it should have.
I with corsair had a variant of the H150i elite that comes with the ICUE Link fans. As it stands youd have to buy one of these and replace the fans it comes with for the ICUE Link fans and thats such a waste.

I'm gonna be using the NZXT H7 flow case and a setup like yours with 3 fans in front for intake, and the H150 elite fans for exhaust at the top. I was wondering though how are you controlling the lighting for that spare fan you have at the back? The commander core only slots 6 fans and I feel like buying a commander pro just for a single fan control is overkill. Do you have any suggestions?
I had Microcenter build me a rig with the h150i elite lcd with qx fans. I think they may have connected the cables a little wrong. I can't modify the LCD on Icue.

Hey my guy! I bought this cooler and i have it on a 7700x at stock settings currently and its running 30-40*C. Biggest complaint about the cooler is cable management. each fan has propriety RGB cable and PWM fan cable that need to go into the Commander core.
With 3 fans is it a good idea to have some fans pull air into the case and some push air out? Im thinking of this in a top mount setup where the front fans are pulling air in and the rear fan is pushing air out.

Tbh I think the NZXT Z AIOs are quieter. Software wise it's better too, though that's just me. I'd still happily recommend Corsair AIOs and the fact they can do zero RPM makes them very appealing.
I'm wondering if that pump USB termination would work on a 4 pin USB header given it only has 4 conductors. I currently have mine set up like yours, but I'd reckon it would work for people with older/lower tiered motherboards that are lacking multiple 9 pin headers and have an empty 4 pin.
i have the same H150i Elite LCD and i have both cpu and gpu temps on the screen at the same time one over the other. you just have to go throught the settings on ICUE. I see that this vid is a year old so maybe it was an update they recently added with the ICUE but it is deffinitly there now.
How to adjust the cooling, when im on startup /idle my cpu is 33 never went below 30 degrees, however some specific games it went up to 60 degrees + while most 40-50+ degrees. I just dont know how to make it cool as much as possible

Got this for my new 12900k build and it works and looks great. I used a set of LL fans to go with the ones Included with this, but I couldn't get the rgb to turn on using the commander core (I still don't know why) . So I ended up using the fan hub included in my case with the rgb hub included with the LLs to get it to work. So far so good.
Did u configure the fans on the cooler itself. Go into Icue click on the cooler click lighting setup. Or run the wizard. It should see all the fans connected to the commander core.
@@DESYNC-47 sadly I didn't try that since I was trying to get get all the cable management done before I set up everything else. The other method worked on the first try without even getting on Icue. The rgb hub works well enough with Icue too. Maybe I'll give it a try when I have some spare time to see if that works.

I've had this cooler as standard with my PC when I ordered it but over the summer, the screen began flickering slightly which has worsened. I'm unable to see 'Screen Setup' or 'Hardware Screen' on the iCUE software anymore either which is really annoying - can't change the screen from the picture I originally set up on there. Not sure why this is happening however, when I turn the PC off and on again, the screen shows the start-up logo and doesn't flicker but once loaded it begins flickering again. Anyone else have this issue or know a fix?
I ordered H170i elite LCD today for my 5950X, upgraded from H150i capellix as the LCD kit is not available in my country as a stand alone upgrade.. But wanted to upgrade cooling a bit as I've tuned 5950X where it boots to 5.2Ghz while gaming and while rendering satys around 4.6ghz. And Summer is around the corner and I'm still on WFH so upgrade needed(any excuse to buy new stuff 🤣). Also I upgraded to Dominator Platinum last week so.........
Did the same thing as you everything 6 total fans. All connected to the commander. After turning it on the commander started smoking. I’m assuming it’s faulty but I don’t know. If anyone ran into a problem please let me know.
Hello Friend. Does this Corsair model have the same problem as the Elite Capellix H150i? I had a Capellix and ended up returning it and getting a refund. It's a really annoying noise coming from the pump. Is there a lot of high-pitched noise coming out of the pump on this LCD model? Tks again.
I have this same cpu and am thinking of upgrading from my stock heat sink. Are you running your 10900K at stock settings or are you over/underclocking?
How does this compare to the Z73? To me, I like the display on the z73 because there’s no extra space around the display. Somehow that bugs me to look at. If they made the display squared and fill it I think it would look better. Performance wise it should be similar right?
Performance is very similar. I think the Z73 is quieter but cooling is about the same. I prefer the Z73's screen and what's possible on there, but they're very similar.

I have the H150i Elite capellix AIO which came with 3 fans and commander core, 4 additional of the same fans with an additional lighting core node, and the 5000X RGB case which has 3 same fans and include Lighting node core. What else do I need for all 10 fans to be powered with RGB?!?!?!

Have you got the latest version of icue? Sometimes issues can be fixed by uninstalling iCue and redownloading it and reinstalling it. It's stupid but it works.
I just ordered this cooler. But I will have in total 3 Ml140 pros and 4 Ml120 pros, how can I connect them all since the commander only has 6 channels ?

Nice review! Does anyone have some knowledge about this AIO and the Corsair Obsidian Series 750D Airflow Edition Tower. At the moment I run a Corsair H115I on the top of the case. But my current AIO is not able to handle an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X with the temperatures. I have in idle mode standards temps of 80 Degrees Celsius and at load a bit over 90. So I need urgently a new AIO. Please help if anyone knows if this one here will fit in my case without any McGyver workshops to modify. :)

Unfortunately, the cord that plugs into the RGB/fan hub from the pump head is EXTREMELY touchy, which makes for a lot of unnecessary suffering

You need to change out setting in cooler like quiet, balance and extreme to see the difference temperature changes
Times have sure changed from when I gamed on PC in like 2000s just looking at everything available now the 2000$ high end is more like entry level lol

The fan side label and wire placement is backwards, had to pinch the wires in between the fans to get them to go through the back.

Yes. Corsair says you shouldn't mix and match but it can work.

It's was only the SPs you couldn't mix, it was a software issue and if I recall they've sorted it now anyway.

Corsair LEDs? You'd need and RGB hub and connect that in too.

Look for the hardware settings in iCue. That sets the default settings for when iCue isn't running.

Did the same thing as you everything 6 total fans. All connected to the commander. After turning it on the commander started smoking. I’m assuming it’s faulty but I don’t know. If anyone ran into a problem please let me know.

do the RGB plugs need to be in a specific order? like do you really need to trace back to the fans and figure out which one is fan 1 etc. ?
You don't "need" to. You can do it in iCue now. But it does make life easier if you do.

Does this Corsair model have the same problem as the Elite Capellix H150i? I had a Capellix and ended up returning it and getting a refund.
It's a really annoying noise coming from the pump.

How does this compare to the Z73? To me, I like the display on the z73 because there’s no extra space around the display. Somehow that bugs me to look at. If they made the display squared and fill it I think it would look better. Performance wise it should be similar right?
Performance is very similar. I think the Z73 is quieter but cooling is about the same. I prefer the Z73's screen and what's possible on there, but they're very similar.

What do you do if you have 7 Corsair fans; command core only has 6 plugs. What do you do with the 7th fan? Motherboard? Would you still be able to customize it in the IQ software?
You could use an rgb controller included with a triple pack for the RGB and then connect the power to a system fan header.
What mode should I run the cooler on ? Quiet or balanced?
Which would you say its nicer in terms of displaying gifs, temps? The Kraken Z series or this?
Kraken imo but only because I've had more time with it and I think the overall setup is nicer

Hello I am a newbie! I have the H150i Elite capellix AIO which came with 3 fans and commander core, 4 additional of the same fans with an additional lighting core node, and the 5000X RGB case which has 3 same fans and include Lighting node core. What else do I need for all 10 fans to be powered with RGB?!?!?!

I know this is a little bit old but I'm not getting the option for screen settings. The screen works but cant configure it. I am also unable to control the ring lights around it. Can't figure it out
Have you got the latest version of icue? Sometimes issues can be fixed by uninstalling iCue and redownloading it and reinstalling it. It's stupid but it works.

Nice review! Does anyone have some knowledge about this AIO and the Corsair Obsidian Series 750D Airflow Edition Tower. At the moment I run a Corsair H115I on the top of the case. But my current AIO is not able to handle an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X with the temperatures. I have in idle mode standards temps of 80 Degrees Celsius and at load a bit over 90. So I need urgently a new AIO. Please help if anyone knows if this one here will fit in my case without any McGyver workshops to modify. :)

I recently Bought the H150i LCD cooler. and i also own a Commander Core XT and the cooler came with its own Commander Core...... so i Have 2 commander cores in my Build but boot Cores need a USB input.....

Personally I prefer the Z73, but this is still great and you don't have the same issue with the tubes pressing against RAM.
