    Bought this to cool my 12700K on socket 1700 and it is very impressive. The fans are good, overall cooling performance is excellent but the iCue functionality is just what makes it a step above. Does have the occasional bug but it has gotten better. The lighting and notifications options are plentiful and I have ended up using the dual bar showing CPU and GPU temps. The downsides are the price, it is expensive but you are getting one of the best LCD screens I have seen...Good review

      I cant get anywhere near those numbers my p cores on my i9 12900k are over 80-83 highs and the usually stay at 83 for the duration of the r23 test. At idel with nothing running it does well but as soon as any amount of load even 1% eth jumps to 50c and in games it runs 60 but is so loud like ear ringing loud. I have a cooler master and all you can hear is the fans.

    I think Corsair light shows (and icue software) are the best in the business, and the price reflects the brand itself.

    You buy a corsair aio for looks first and foremost. Performance is always good enough, but it will never be the quietest. Also the coolit pump they have been using for the last few gens makes an audible hum even on the quiet profile. For some people that will be an instant turn off. I know I could get better performance with the liquid freezer 2 that costs less (and if you upgrade the fans to a12x25 or t30’s it will be even quieter/more performant. But the corsair ecosystem is what it is, and I like being able to sync everything up and control all my fans via icue.

  • @KleoYan

    Nice review and happy new year. The fans seems on as it runs on 0.21a but with that amount I rather go with arctic with 38mm rad. My guess is. If you change those Corsair fans. It might do even better temperature. Nevertheless you won’t go wrong with a 360 AIO

    • @TheTechBuyersGuru
      @TheTechBuyersGuru  2 года назад +2

      One thing I think Arctic should do is release higher RPM version of the P12 ARGB. I know they can, and P12 design is so quiet, but at current max, maybe not strong enough for some systems.

    I actually prefer the preapplied corsair thermal paste. I've given noctuas nh2 a shot with my cpu/gpu but I've noticed after reapplying it multiple times it will run off the die over time making temperatures worse. The best paste I've used so far is SYY 157, alot thicker.

    I had the h100i. The fans didn't light up, and icue couldn't change the display on the pump. It could only change the rgb on the ram and the circular lighting on the edge of the pump display. The controller cable to the pump kept losing contact, but even if moved slightly (to test) it caused the system to believe the cooler wasn't working, showing a red triangle cautionary message. Also sometimes shutting off. It seems also common with the h150i's. The incompatibility with icue though is seperate, and seems to just depend on motherboard. The h150i is prob decent enough for the last cpu generation given the number of fans, but I would be put off using corsair coolers again given the low quality cabling. Their ram is decent enough though

      Yes, you can absolutely use the P12 Slim on a rad, that's what they're designed for! Here's the link: amzn.to/34HcNSY #ad

    Hey, I'm new to all of the software side of things. I've just upgraded to an rog strix gpu which uses armory crate which I find easy enough to use.
    My next upgrade will be a cpu aio as the cpu is now having to work harder

    I replaced the stock Corsair fans on the H150i Capellix Elite with Lian Li AL120's , since they are UNI fans, they are daisy-chained and I have them on the Lian Li controller and ultimately on the CPU fan header on the mobo so they can be controlled with Q-FAN EZ-setup in the ASUS Bios.. The Corsair fans (White) molding is very ugly in the Lian Li Evo, HOWEVER, does anyone know if the lower CFM values of the AL120's is a major problem? I am overclocked with a 12900K so it heats up heavily. I'm sure I am increasing the temperature by at least a few celsius.
