Tim. He creates more contingency plans on any topic than Batman. And then 5 backups for each contingency. He was so good at it that the Nightwing once commented that in going after Tim, a small army of ninjas is the start of what Nightwing would do.
I appreciate what Bruce said at the end. He has (in a deeper way) a connection with Peter. At the end of it all Peter and Bruce are still ordinary men despite the abilities and genius they both possess. When all the chips are down they will still fight for their fellow man no matter what.
Indeed. The only reason Spider-Man is one of my top heroes and Batman isn't is because I am drawn to bright, light bringing heroes. Bats does a great job and fills an important role, but Peter's consistent hope and optimism speaks more to me. If in danger, I would trust both. And that isn't always something you can say about darker heroes like Batman.

The contingencies are intended to be used if the character becomes a threat. If Spider-Man started robbing people or working for a crime boss (he did get brainwashed by Mr. Negative for a bit) then he doesn't have to worry about money any more.
Almost entirely correct. Set him up financially and he will have no complaint - as long as it doesn't interfere with his morals. Then again, Batman is much more likely to fight a Spider-Man who has abandoned his moral code than a regular 'Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man'.
Don't forget toughness; his bones are semi-chitin, making them almost as tough as steel. He also has a minor healing factor, able to recover from anything short of broken bones, missing organs, or other extreme trauma overnight; Rhino once (and only once) managed to break Spider-Man's arm, and although he was apprehended Rhino was in extremely high spirits over this accomplishment. It only took a week or two to heal.

Well, Spider-Man is Batman’s comic counterpart as a more darker side and they have trickster supervillains such as the joker and the green goblin. Also, trained teen protégés like miles morales and Tim Drake, have parental figures, master fighters, gadget makers, etc.

Hmm, I don't know about the chloride, but Spidey got his spider sense buzzed for a while due to the Morbius effect. It gave him a constant mild migraine. Also, sending a false message is a sure fire way to get on Peter's bad side. Lastly, I think Batman would have a hard time fighting Spider-Man on the basis that, for all the martial arts he knows, it's almost impossible to match the natural form of Spider-Man due to the sense.
But Batman still wins, cause He's Batman. Batman is not a person, but a living symbol with no limits. You can't beat an ideology. Could Spiderman beat Darkseid who is a cosmic deity? I don't think so. Batman did.

I'd love to see this done again, except from the perspective that Batman doesn't know Spider-man's true identity and wasn't able to get samples of his webbing (it doesn't make sense that Batman could easily isolate the webbing and get it to a lab quickly enough to develop a counter compound given how quickly it dissolves - it's a bit of a plot hole that's handwaved too hard IMO). This one wasn't your best work so far - it assumes Batman already knows a *ton* about who Spider-man is and how his powers work, when in typical scenarios, one of Spider-man's biggest advantages (and sources of conflict in his stories) is his anonymity. Still, loving these. Keep doing these! :D
All of these are done from the view of an outside observer, so it makes sense to me. That said, if Batman didn't know at first encounter, I feel he would help the Webhead upon learning how similar they are to each other. They function as very similar characters with very different foundations and environments.

You know which Arkham Rogue Spider-Man would be the absolute worst nightmare for? The Joker. Think about it: Spider-Man's fighting style also involves a huge amount of talking and taunting (his quick wit that Batman mentions) to get inside his opponent's head and make them get careless. And that is actually the PERFECT way to counter Joker: Because Joker is so vain and likes to talk so much, his biggest weakness is when his own strategy is used against him. Terry McGinnis used this exact same strategy in Batman Beyond.
Nothing angers or annoys Joker more is someone that is funnier than him. Spiderman will absolutely make a joke out of him and not taking Joker's taunts seriously
Between Peter's Spider Sense, super-human reflexes, & his phenomenal speed (greater than human, BTW) he's been known to literally dodge lightning strikes...Not only those generated by Electro but more naturally-occurring lightning which has *less* predictable timing & direction/aim than the lightning generated by a person. Even a virtual wall of bullets is something he can avoid, as long as there's still enough space between individual bullets that will allow for him to fit his own body parts through the spaces. Even so, area-effect attacks such as explosions are quite a bit more difficult...He needs to be able to jump out of the effected *area* to dodge that.
Spiderman is one of the strongest and smartest person in the Marvel Universe and hea consistently holds back...we know what he can do when he stops holding back

I've read a lot of what-ifs, and the most popular way to improve Peter as Spider-Man is to either put on the path to making a Batman utility belt or have him learn from a Batman like figure. So the fact that Bats doesn't outright say he approves of Spidy is underwhelming, despite it being in character.
He basically does at the end. He show's him great respect that the moment that made him Spider-Man is basically the same the made him Batman and for his Great Power Great Responsibility saying

All of Spidey's villains have done all of these things to him at some point. Granted, not all of them at once to my knowledge but at least one. In fact, one of the signs of a competent Spider-Man villain is they use at least one of these methods on him.

A few thoughts: - 1 obvious strategic factor that Batman overlooks is how reliant Spidey is on being in an urban environment: his entire methodology of slinging, and swinging around skyscrapers is built for the big city, and he might not be able to function nearly as well in the countryside, the suburbs, or even the swamps that surround Gotham (where Solomon Grundy was born). Batman, however, can still do this. - It’s appropriate for Batman to voice his agreement with Spidey doctrine of power and responsibility, but he could also have pointed out that allies such a Superman and Wonder Woman would’ve said the same thing. - When discussing Spidey’s traumas and their shared sense of loss, that might’ve pointed out a psychological difference: while Batman endured his loss because he was small and helpless, Peter lost his uncle because he made mistakes. Furthermore, Peter still feels guilt about the death of Gwen Stacy, literally at his own hands. Batman felt victimized, but Spider-Man blames himself.
Joker: "All it takes is one bad day..." Batman: "You'd give up on that catchphrase if you saw what the writers are doing to Spider-Man." Joker: "Writers?" Batman: "That's what Deadpool calls them."
The funny thing is? Some comics have the Joker aware he lives in a comic book and one of the reasons he does what he does is because he knows the people he's killing aren't real. He's basically a more evil Deadpool.

Fun fact: They meet up two Times on Dc and Marvel comic in the 90s, where the first one is where Batman at first is not so nice but after while he was wrong about Spider-man and both of them helps each other to defeat the Joker and Carnage, the second comic is where Spider-man helps Batman to climb a mountain and help Kingpin to get his cure since Ras Al Ghul lie about having a cure (That would be cool to see more crossover about Spider-man and Batman where they get to see their villain rogue gallery, and eventually Nightwing gets to meet up Spider-man since both of them are heroes that loves making jokes to a villain and sometimes to each other)
The only thing I’d disagree with is backing Peter into a corner. That doesn’t make him more predictable. He’s already fairly predictable as is, which is why various villains can get the drop on him because of his typical responses. When Peter is backed into a corner, he becomes significantly more unpredictable.
Even if Batman has a contingency plan for Spider-Man he has nothing but positive things to say about him in the end. It’s characters like Batman and Spider-Man that I relate to the most especially when the comics show us these characters are human

Don't forget toughness; his bones are semi-chitin, making them almost as tough as steel. He also has a minor healing factor, able to recover from anything short of broken bones, missing organs, or other extreme trauma overnight; Rhino once (and only once) managed to break Spider-Man's arm, and although he was apprehended Rhino was in extremely high spirits over this accomplishment.
It only took a week or two to heal.
i love how Batman would definitely feel bad for writing a contingency plan against a teenager with a very similar thing to him. becoming a vigilante after his loved one died. granted Batman had no powers granted (unless you count his parent's inheritance) but they still have very similar moral codes

Hmm, I don't know about the chloride, but Spidey got his spider sense buzzed for a while due to the Morbius effect. It gave him a constant mild migraine. Also, sending a false message is a sure fire way to get on Peter's bad side.
Lastly, I think Batman would have a hard time fighting Spider-Man on the basis that, for all the martial arts he knows, it's almost impossible to match the natural form of Spider-Man due to the sense.
But Batman still wins, cause He's Batman. Batman is not a person, but a living symbol with no limits. You can't beat an ideology. Could Spiderman beat Darkseid who is a cosmic deity? I don't think so. Batman did.

Batman in the lore is a symbol, Batman is the hero born from the trauma of of a boy who lost his parents in that alley. A protector to ensure no boy ever goes through that again. Bruce Wayne does NOT exist, he died with his parents, and Batman is the real personality. Even when held by wonder womans lasso and asked who are you really, he answers with Batman. The body of Bruce Wayne is just he skeleton under the suit. Spiderman is just Peter Parker, a kid trying to be a super hero and save people and have a normal life to. He is not the same as Batman. Batman is ALWAYS Batman. Even when out as "Bruce" that's a disguise.

I'd love to see this done again, except from the perspective that Batman doesn't know Spider-man's true identity and wasn't able to get samples of his webbing (it doesn't make sense that Batman could easily isolate the webbing and get it to a lab quickly enough to develop a counter compound given how quickly it dissolves - it's a bit of a plot hole that's handwaved too hard IMO).
This one wasn't your best work so far - it assumes Batman already knows a *ton* about who Spider-man is and how his powers work, when in typical scenarios, one of Spider-man's biggest advantages (and sources of conflict in his stories) is his anonymity.
Still, loving these. Keep doing these! :D
All of these are done from the view of an outside observer, so it makes sense to me. That said, if Batman didn't know at first encounter, I feel he would help the Webhead upon learning how similar they are to each other. They function as very similar characters with very different foundations and environments.

You know which Arkham Rogue Spider-Man would be the absolute worst nightmare for? The Joker. Think about it: Spider-Man's fighting style also involves a huge amount of talking and taunting (his quick wit that Batman mentions) to get inside his opponent's head and make them get careless. And that is actually the PERFECT way to counter Joker: Because Joker is so vain and likes to talk so much, his biggest weakness is when his own strategy is used against him. Terry McGinnis used this exact same strategy in Batman Beyond.
Nothing angers or annoys Joker more is someone that is funnier than him. Spiderman will absolutely make a joke out of him and not taking Joker's taunts seriously
Between Peter's Spider Sense, super-human reflexes, & his phenomenal speed (greater than human, BTW) he's been known to literally dodge lightning strikes...Not only those generated by Electro but more naturally-occurring lightning which has *less* predictable timing & direction/aim than the lightning generated by a person. Even a virtual wall of bullets is something he can avoid, as long as there's still enough space between individual bullets that will allow for him to fit his own body parts through the spaces.
Even so, area-effect attacks such as explosions are quite a bit more difficult...He needs to be able to jump out of the effected *area* to dodge that.

I've read a lot of what-ifs, and the most popular way to improve Peter as Spider-Man is to either put on the path to making a Batman utility belt or have him learn from a Batman like figure. So the fact that Bats doesn't outright say he approves of Spidy is underwhelming, despite it being in character.
He basically does at the end. He show's him great respect that the moment that made him Spider-Man is basically the same the made him Batman and for his Great Power Great Responsibility saying

This is actually genius, using a chemical catalyst to hyperdissolve his webbing, using insecticide to mitigate his strength (and therefore agility) and using a ddos attack on his spider sense
All of Spidey's villains have done all of these things to him at some point. Granted, not all of them at once to my knowledge but at least one. In fact, one of the signs of a competent Spider-Man villain is they use at least one of these methods on him.

A few thoughts:
- 1 obvious strategic factor that Batman overlooks is how reliant Spidey is on being in an urban environment: his entire methodology of slinging, and swinging around skyscrapers is built for the big city, and he might not be able to function nearly as well in the countryside, the suburbs, or even the swamps that surround Gotham (where Solomon Grundy was born). Batman, however, can still do this.
- It’s appropriate for Batman to voice his agreement with Spidey doctrine of power and responsibility, but he could also have pointed out that allies such a Superman and Wonder Woman would’ve said the same thing.
- When discussing Spidey’s traumas and their shared sense of loss, that might’ve pointed out a psychological difference: while Batman endured his loss because he was small and helpless, Peter lost his uncle because he made mistakes. Furthermore, Peter still feels guilt about the death of Gwen Stacy, literally at his own hands. Batman felt victimized, but Spider-Man blames himself.
Spider-Man is my all-time favorite superhero.

Even with plans, spider sense is extremely difficult to get around, and it’s awesome Batman even understands this.

Really appreciated the respect Batman gave to Peter which I always think is overlooked when talking about Spider-Man and yes the contingencies were quite accurate too
