Awesome video! And it is great to see someone acknowledge John's/Homelander's truama and how that is effecting his behavior. I am a big believer that John/Homelander has some form of dissociative identity disorder, along with serval other mental health conditions like an anxiety disorder and CPTSD, all caused by the neglect and brutality of his upbringing... which led to his sociopathy and narcissism. I love that Batman's end goal is to get John/Homelander the therapy he needs, although I don't think going back to being a hero would be in his best interest. So much of his truama is tied to being a superhero and the expectations put on him, as well as never being given the opportunity to develop his own personality outside of what vaught and their shareholders thought would be best for business. It would be to easy to trigger his truamas and set him back on his mental health journey if something went wrong. He needs to learn how to be a person and who he is outside of his powers and vaught first, at the very least.

I actually think coming up with a contingency for Homelander would be "easy" for Batman since it's essentially just finding his Kryptonite, which is whatever kind of energy that Soldier Boy blasts people with. So Batman would just find a way to replicate that - most likely by finding the people tied to the experiments done on Soldier Boy and politely asking them for their notes - and then have it in his back pocket.

The least risky contingency plan is to simply call Superman. As soon as he tanks Homelander's first punch, he would enter a state of self-destruction due to being truly weak for the first time. Well, that's very thoughtfully made, it is indeed sounds like how Batman would reason. A few flaws with this plan, for one it's based off a compound V antidote which doesn't exist and as we've seen it would not only kill him but would be airborne and kill all supers. Also he can't see through zinc but he can still see zinc, so zinc armour wouldn't be invisible to him and would likely raise his attention the most.

That’s not the point. Batman’s contingency plans, even in his original plans against the Justice League assumed that no other hero would help. Using his own tactics and resources, either because the other supers are also incapacitated or because they all turned. It’s why his plan for Wonder Woman wasn’t “idk call the Boy Scout lol”.

I could totally see batman being associated with the SCP foundation or even being an O5. His usual approach to dealing with criminals really fits with their general approach to dealing with anomalies and i think he would usually approve of their methods
Extreme radiation is also his weakness as it can burn Compound V from his body.
I actually think coming up with a contingency for Homelander would be "easy" for Batman since it's essentially just finding his Kryptonite, which is whatever kind of energy that Soldier Boy blasts people with. So Batman would just find a way to replicate that - most likely by finding the people tied to the experiments done on Soldier Boy and politely asking them for their notes - and then have it in his back pocket.

The least risky contingency plan is to simply call Superman. As soon as he tanks Homelander's first punch, he would enter a state of self-destruction due to being truly weak for the first time.
Other than that, I don't doubt that Batman would find a way to incapacitate Homelander in a trap and extract all of the Compound V from him.

Well, that's very thoughtfully made, it is indeed sounds like how Batman would reason. A few flaws with this plan, for one it's based off a compound V antidote which doesn't exist and as we've seen it would not only kill him but would be airborne and kill all supers. Also he can't see through zinc but he can still see zinc, so zinc armour wouldn't be invisible to him and would likely raise his attention the most.
