Zabbix - Host Unreachable Errors

May those be First network errors, hosts becoming unavailable or unreachable, these error messages quite often question what is happening with Zabbix. Why Availability in the frontend flaps between green and red, why there are gaps in the graphs or no data at all. hey, love you videos hope you can help. in the zabbix_agent2.conf there is Include= if I put my settings in there (lets say HostnameItem=system.hostname) does this over-ride the default config just for that setting??

Hello Dmitry, can you please explain more what are the pollers and what's there effect, because I am getting notification saying Zabbix unreachable poller processes more than 75% busy. And I don't know what does it mean.

Why can't one list the items/hosts in queue of unreachable poller? It is not user friendly to go through host list looking for red hosts...

Hello Dmitry Lambert, I am having strange issue in my production - after adding 3k hosts unreachable poller process - 100% - removed 3k hosts- but unreachable poller process still - 100%- I didn't get answer any ware on internet. Can you please suggest what will be the reason for such behaviour of zabbix.

Apparently there is another reason for unreachable zabbix agents: An address family mismatch. You configured your host's "Connect to" to DNS. Zabbix tries the IPv6 address it has found (either by chance, or because "IPv6 first" has been explicitly configured for your OS). It gets an "ECONNREFUSED", because the agent listens on IPv4 only. Instead of trying again using the IPv4 address the Zabbix server sets the host to red.
