21:20 "removal of in/outputs if not needed" - i usually make a blueprint setup with all Liquid inputs / outputs for Refineries / Blenders and remove them in the factory when not needed , so i wont get confused as to why theyre there. I also dont do the beltwork in the blueprint , because i change from which side i want to feed or take materials regularly. And i dont change the blueprint for each individual versions , cuz that would just bloat my blueprint menu with a ton of different variants of Refineries and Blenders ... its already a lot since i have blueprints for the amount of Machines i need , like 2x , 4x , 6x or 8x Smelters / Constructors and all the other Machines.
I like those vidos. Still I rushed to tier 8 with super mess factories to get trains and drones and now I'm bulding factories like 72GW rocket fuel + 4k rubber and 2.4k plastic :p I get why people give up huge projects. After 40+ hours I coudn't stay longer in blue crater to finish architecture part of the factory :p I'll go back there after my current elecronics factory that will use this plastic and some rubber at the dune desert coast :) Well done with phase 4!
Around 9:52 - The first assembler in the first chain has Stators (into Electomagnetic control rods into magnetic field generators) is creating 6.25 stators per min. The control rod assember next to it only uses 1.5 per min as it is under clocked to 37.5%). That leaves you 4.75, nd the Rigor Motor needs 4 per min
I might have lost some steps, where are your bringing the Reinforced Iron Plates needed for making the Crystal Oscillator? I can't see where is it done. Amazing series, I'm enjoying it big time, great job!
Congratz! And yea keeping your factories small(ish) is a fun way to approach the game - although I can also highly recommend at some point making a nice/large/beautiful factory to switch things up!
I mean, sure ... Drones ... Or ... You build miles of Mk. 5 uninterrupted nonstop flowing conveyor belts that don't require fuel or a pause on time to deliver. It's really player's choice.
Very true! Honestly I would be totally on the ' miles of belts ' plan if it wasn't so much work to make them look tidy :) Gotta love a delivery system that doesn't rely on power or other obstructions though!

You did a really good job on this one.
Wow, I googled phase 4 and got here, I'm going to have to back up a few videos to see how you do it! 🧠🧠🧠

Hey TDA, really enjoying playing along with you in this series! Where did you get the extra Stators for the Motors?

From the factory that produces the heavy modular frames (the one from the last episode) through a drone
I really like it that you dont build masive factorys like others. It makes it really unique. I´m finishing Phase 3 now for the first time :D

@@TheDutchActuary Maybe later. I really want to unlock drones now :D
@@dominik503 Just set up my drones today haha :)
Regarding your question about removing excess pipes and it taking a lot of effort - “out of sight, out of mind”.
Cheers TDA!
Fair enough! :D
Do you not use hypertubes? I think I’d go crazy running or jet packing around everywhere
Honestly building them (neatly) is something that I always dread doing. But doing so on frequently traveled paths is probably still worth it.

How are you able to select machines from so far away? I need to practically be kissing them to select them!
Hoverpack increases your interaction range when you're in the air.
Yep, it's the hover pack! It makes things sooooo much faster and easier (you would have thought Ficsit would supply you with one from the start...)
