I love that kibitz builds BIG but you really don't need to automate all that ammo, the sheer amount of hrs to set that up would be better spent on just exploring and getting all the stuff faster. I've cleared over 3/4 the map of all hard drives, sommersloops, and spheres by just placing radar towers to get an exact count in range and using a scanner to go get them. The only ammo I have fully automated and dimensional depoted is rifle ammo and black powder from which I handcraft smart homing ammo (my high speed connector manufacturer by a caterium node I hand feed 800 circuit boards from the cloud when i'm near by, then depot the connectors. 1 circuit board -> 1 connector -> 10 homing riffle ammo so 800 boards makes 8000 ammo) and nobelisks(steel pipes also in depot) which is all you really need to kill/blow up everything and both only take a min or 2 of hand crafting to make a stack on the go.
fun fact, you can use lift floor hatches to make infinitely tall conveyor lifts. just keep dragging the lift up and up and it'll snap to the floor opening despite being out of normal range

Not sure if you will realize during the episode, but you can use more than one Dimensional Depot per resource. Just use 3 or 4 for concrete and you can pave the whole map without worrying about your inventory ever again.
Just my thoughts on weapons - Noblisks>rebar>rifle. The rifle technically has a higher damage output, but I find that the wildlife move fast enough that they can dodge quite a few shots. And since the rifle is hitscan, not simulated, there's a number of obstructions that the rebar gun can shoot through that the rifle can't pierce. Plus, the rebar gun stuns targets, letting you maneuver in close range combat easier than with the rifle. As for the Noblisks, 1 hit's enough for generic wildlife, and 2 shots are enough for alphas. The best combat weapon, particularly if you've got a hunting blind blueprint ready to go. As for ammo types - Shatter rebar is useless. You need to be so close to your target to take advantage of it that there's not really any practically use case, and if you want AOE damage just use the explosive rebar. Stun rebar is OK, but I find that I'm using the rebar gun as a medium-long range weapon. At that range, the reduced damage output makes it impractical to use. At close range, I'd prefer to just use Noblisks to kill the enemy instead of stun + melee. Homing Rifle Ammo is... weird. I have a hard time actually using it, as either I'm fare enough away from my targets that I have enough time to line up the shot (so the reduced damage is a problem), or they are close enough that it's hard to keep them in crosshairs. So the tracking doesn't actually help. Plus there's a number of enemies that can actually dodge the shots. As for turbo... I haven't actually used it, but the higher rate of fire and magazine size should make it a straight improvement on the basic rifle... which isn't that good of a weapon to begin with. As for Nobelisk... I think the basic Nobelisk is the best option. Maybe the cluster has a bit of a niche usage against stingers, but otherwise the other Nobelisks either don't deal enough damage (pulse), don't give damage feedback (gas), or deal too much damage (Nuke). You've got actual ranged weapons for ranged damage, Nobelisks are for taking out anything that gets too close and needs to die immediately.
this reminds me of my Subnautica save file where I made my "munitions base" and had over 10 exterior growbeds of Acid/Cave mushrooms, an alien containment breeder for Gasopods and Crashfish, and Nuclear power with a war room/scanner hub. I also built "Charlie" my Cyclops that I made into a Warboat. Lets just say the Leviathan population is now in need of an update. honestly one of my favorite builds bc that was the same save file where I'm trying to find the best way to clear the Aurora's Reaper problem (the Aurora is perfect for titanium, has more titanium than any spot in game and what's not meshed to the seabed is in my pockets), that base is step one of my solution... the War for Aurora will continue.

Played my first 4 hours of Satisfactory last night, needless to say this video's scope is kinda mindblowing to me. Plus how nonchalant you are talking about it!
Really making me excited to play more of the game though!
i wait eagerly for each coming video - thanks for making such a good series!
i still can't get around how Kibitz is doing all of that and making that look good
I was wondering today when the next episode would be... I get home and check my feed... new kibz video...
Now that makes me happy!!
Kibz where's the new video!! I'm getting withdrawal symptoms xD xD xD
(No folks not actually rushing him just curious...I understand the amount of time he puts in to all the stuff he does plus all the streams on the platform that I don't visit :p )
Hell yeah, long videos!
Great video as always, but I’m noticing some audio desync issues as it goes on. Hope that was a recording error and your editing software isn’t behaving weirdly. I hate it when that happens. Keep up the good work!
38:24 Akchually that was D to C. 👿
Me watching ImKibitz: "I can do this."
My world: "Not you can't."
fun fact, you can use lift floor hatches to make infinitely tall conveyor lifts. just keep dragging the lift up and up and it'll snap to the floor opening despite being out of normal range
Its. Time For Even More capitalisim
FINALLY A NEW VIDEO
I’m actually able to keep up with this series which isn’t like me, way to go kibitz
Dude I'm practically at the exact same point. You are at the game, keep it up, love your videos.
32:50 I can smell the copper sky bridge a mile away. No, literally, we could smell it if it existed and had enough wind. By the definition of "sky" bridge. There would be wind. Wake up and smell the copper, Kibz. Also, 420th comment. We'll ignore the fact it's my fourth one though.
Damn Kibz, that's a lot of work!
Not sure if you will realize during the episode, but you can use more than one Dimensional Depot per resource. Just use 3 or 4 for concrete and you can pave the whole map without worrying about your inventory ever again.
Watching Kibz @ 2x speed is like watching Sonic the Hedgehog be a FICSIT Pioneer.
As for ammo types -
Shatter rebar is useless.
26:55 „and editing magic, do your thing“ - and an advertisment appeared 😂
kibitz really ought to move his HUB and space elevator
I do wish there was an option for ‘functionality infinite’ resources - if you are producing over x items per second globally of a particular thing, you are considered to always have it in your inventory. Saves having to go back to your mall repeatedly just to finish basic infrastructure in an outpost.
thats what the dimensional depot is for especially as you can have multiple depots uploading the same item
@@whatusernameis5295 I suppose, but the limited upload rate to begin with really hurts when needing thousands of concrete in a short time, for example, as you try and scale up your early production
Seems like a great use-case for sushi belts and smart splitters
I replicated your turbo fuel generator power plant and it took a while to complete! It is generating about 60 kMW and its awesome!! thanks for the tips
Do you know that you can press control while placing foundations to snap it to a global grid, then everything will be lined up.
I've been literally working on this this week. Soooo many things
I just finished my own ammo factory. It doesn’t hold a candle to this one, but it suits my needs. It makes basic rifle ammo and cluster nobelisks
7:17. You can. Just hold left click when throwing it and sprint forward. Holding gives more throwing power and running forward into your throw transfers the momentum from your character to the nobelisk on top of the throwing power from holding left click. Quit dropping limp granny shots with your nobelisks today with this quick simple trick NFL quarterbacks will hate you.
9:48 *cough* cluster nobelisk *cough*
If you think about it, really the [Material]+Water recipies are , Material+Oil recipies. Just with power as an intermediary.
editing magic do your thing: "pop"(plays ad)
I wish I had the same creative insight when it comes to organisational skills. I've always had the logical part down, but never the creative/vertical. So my factories are single-layer-platform insanities worked to perfection
actually kibz you dont need heavy modular frame or computer to make trains anymore*, so now you can make them super early for automation for more CHOOO
Kibz, you are truly amazing with your pioneering skills. Keep up the great work! Just a thought, though: what if they added a way to access the mountains or, even better, to harvest lava? I have a feeling there are volcanoes on this planet. I'm just suggesting this for future updates if that ever becomes a possibility For Satisfactory. I mean this community is amazing and coming up with ideas that would work with using lava.
Kibz has the best jokes out of nowhere, I swear.
KIBITZ VIDEO JUST DROPPED
You Know Your Going To Have A Fantastic Day When ImKibitz Uploads! (I Know I Do :D)
