The movie Robot Monster was filmed there. I believe actor Charles Bronson took his stage name from the same Bronson Road that leads to the park.

The cave was also used in the Searchers near the end of the movie. John Wayne chases Natalie Wood into the cave.

I used to ride my horse to the bat-caves once a week from the LAEC in Burbank and riding into the caves, exploring!! There was still all sorts of stuff taped to the top of one cave. Thanks for the cool videos 🦇

(9/30/2023) Just watched "Return to the Batcave" (2003) and saw the Bronson Canyon Cave sign in the movie. I figured that meant something. So, of course, I had to check out what it was. Love the Bat Cave! LOL!!!!!! What a fun episode. I really enjoyed the detail of how the cave was shot from the side in films to make it seem more ominous, and that the cave was a location for 100 films! I would love to visit. SO cool! Thanks!

thanks guys good video as a young boy i was obsessed with the 1966 Batman telelevision show that of course used that “ cave “ in so many parts of the series and yes thanks to tv magic i never had a clue it was as small as it really is

It’s not too hard to hike to the Hollywood sign from the cave. A great day trip.
Very interesting video. Now i know where the Bat Cave is. I'll probably never see it because i live in Florida.
And the house that doubled as Stately Wayne Manor is in Pasadena so make the trip and kill 2 birds with 1 stone. You could also visit the pier where Batman couldnt get rid of the bomb, although I guess its rebuilt since the original burned down

There are some odd things in the Imperial Valley Desert if you don't just do Los Angeles County. I know there is enough there to keep you busy for a life time.
1:10 >> You wont be stuck all night .There is a ranger number to call to let you out but make sure you are NOT high or drunk because last time i called a local rookie cop [ L.A.P.D ]came flying up the road looking to crack skulls .I defused him with my charm and went on my way .

There are lots of signs around the areas that you can park in that say it's best to leave around sundown so you don't risk getting a parking ticket. :) Hope that helps!
