Looks like a nice build just a little thing I would definitely suggest to help you with soldering your xt60 pads & your motors on the esc is getting a shovel tip or as others say a screwdriver tip for your soldering ion to create more base heat to flatten your welds more & make it more durable 😁👍

Then, my Masterplan. Is THE BUILD. Wish me luck! I’m searching for a whoopsie even a used one to put into his hands. Who Knows .. Maybe my Ma would want a go at a flight ! Wow

Thank You! Yeah that cable guards come with the frame kit from ImpulseRC and I just tape them up… They very strong
Beautiful build! Subbed. Looking at building my first 5” too - quick question but what does adding the crossfire receiver do? If I’m running dji controller then would I still need to add that receiver? Cheers and amazing job!

But compare CRSF to Dji… on crossfire is way more range
Haha I just went from using the dji controller for first few months in the hobby to swapping to elrs boxer and I wish I could go back in time and not waste 200$ on dji controller.

@@ConceptNull it's funny, The wifey and I where literally you a few months ago 🤣. I saw so many comments saying the same thing and I asked the same question as you are now 🤣. There is nothing wrong with the dji controller persay. The elrs rx and radios just feel better. I did the extended sticks too and it doesn't compare. I believe I became a better pilot after I went to the boxer radio and it fit much better in my man hands. The wifey got a radiomaster pocket and she loves it compared to dji radio as well. If you never try a different radio you'll never know what you are missing and you will be happy with dji.
hey i was wondering if i buy a iflight Evoque with 03 air unit to use it with my dji controller 2 can i get it with the tbs receiver just for when i get a tbs module at a later date? like will it still be able to bind to my controller 2 when i get it with tbs as easy as i would with the controller 2? thank you :)
Sure You can! Only You need to check the SBUS wire… need to be connected. The brown wire from o3 air unit to flight controller and then You can fly by controller 2 with crossfire on board no problem mate! ✈️
@@FPV_Worldwide thanks alot mate youve saved me from not buying it with tbs and having to install it at a later date when i get a controller so now i can just use my dji controller 2 for now with the tbs still onboard cool! and would it already be pre set up in bataflight the same way it would be if i got it without a receiver for controller 2? thank you so much for your help man:)

For Conformal coating do you add it on after to the sotter and FC?
Yeah after soldering when done the first flight test…. Then if is work you can conformal… full FC unless usb ports and bootloader button
Also do not forget the barometer, do not cover it!

What flight times do you get with the Supernovas compared to previous builds?
On slow cruising as on flight test I get almost 7mins on battery 1300mah 6s… is longer flight for about 1min or so to compare with others quads 🤙
@@FPV_Worldwide thanks, that’s quiet interesting, I expected them to eat up the amps and use up the battery quicker.
@@testpilotian3188 they really do, They are only sized differently , most fpv motors suck between 40 and 50 amps, the aos sucks 60amps, it says on the data sheet, they are only more powerful, the hype about better flight times are false. ask me how i know XD

@@vanderveerfotografie9247I look on manual for Your FC because I never build on iflight electronics. There I find is no plug and play for Your FC… You need to manage to solder the wires

The quad is with new owner all ready 😊 but I believe it was around 400g. New projects in progress. I have something special and it will be better one I think 🔥
Man everthing is top quailty except for the skystar stack cheap junk get a proper stack for that drone

What You mean no telem ? Is really fast ✈️ the motors have very high top end… 150km/h easy 🤟I don’t check yet the amps when pulled to high throttle… but I believe is over 60… but I’m impressed how they performance on low throttle and produce very small amount of amps 🔥 they are epic

RCinpower motor has a lot thrust that’s why pull many amp.

All my quads are on crossfire but yeah the next one will be on ELRS

@@Humble452 thank You! With this two radio controls no much difference. They both are very good. Crossfire in my opinion is the best for Long Range and mountains cruising. ELRS last year get very popular because they are on open source and budget friendly and also very good too. Next build I’ll make the budget friendly and will be on ELRS. Thanks once more! ✈️
