Great pedal! I had the original, but I preferred the Tech21 DLA Boost, as it had trails. Used that for many years, a head of its time. Having that dB boost is great to pop out of the mix for solos.
Wow, an easy to use pedal with Delay+Reverb AND Tap tempo! Finally someone made this! Now it just needs an EXP input to control the mix and i'm buying it!
It would be an "amp's best friend" if it was more like the Devil's Triad, with an OD and Boost up front, and Delay and Reverb in the loop.. but with a noise gate on each end. Now that would be an amp's best friend.
The earlier version of the Eidolon, which was made by Dunable, was one of the first pedals I ever bought. I liked it a lot. Later replaced it with a MWK Lonely Ghost, which is basically the same thing, minus the tap tempo, in a regular sized pedal enclosure. Liked the sound of the Lonely Ghost better. But the Eidolon was still really cool.
Fuck yeah, Frost Giant Electronics!!! There's lots of fuzz love there, but you should check out other high gain pedals like Eric's Architect of Reality build!!
@@FrostGiantElectronics On the other hand, maybe I was wrong. having an OD be separate does mean that you don’t have to bother with the 4 cable method. you could just have this in the loop and a separate OD in front of the amp. So, it’s probably personal preference and some people might prefer one way or the other more.

All i have to do now is learn how to play it ! No no i am joking i stated scratching elgitars few years ago with steady but progressiv tempo ! I can play few songs in Rocksmoth and i learned all alone to play my favorite song but without the solo! It is "You are bewitched by Candlemass" mouaahahahahahah your amazing guitars might be made for death metal but this one is doomed to play mostly Doom Metal! Best wishes and my love to all Ola fans!

Great video. Amp is awesome. Pedal offers such a wide variety of sounds that not providing a MIDI connection/program save and switch is just dumb.
