Can totally recall every amp I've ever owned:

    -Holmes 20 watt solid state
    - 1987 Marshall JCM 800 2205 with a 1960A
    - Fender Super 60 (because the Marshall croaked and I couldn't afford to repair it. A music store swapped the cabinet and gave me the Fender)
    - Marshall Valvestate 100 2x12 Combo (pedal platform. Used a Digitech RP-12 for all my tones)
-Line 6 AX 212 (Absolute shit)..
-Mesa Rectifier Solo 50 with Standard Recto 4x12 (kept this until 2 years ago)
    -Mesa Mark V (sold)
    -Mesa JP 2C (sold)
    -Mesa TC 50 Combo (sold)
-Kemper 600 watt with Cabinet (sold)
-Mesa JP2C (yes, again) with compact Recto 2x12 (best cab ever)
    -Revv G50 with 2 x12.

Hugh Janus reminds me of the time in the late 90's when my best friend and i were hanging out at the airport watching the jets take off ( you used to be able to do those kind of things) and we got the idea to prank the baggage claim desk by speaking with a middle eastern accent, saying we couldnt find our uncle and asking them to page Meidikus Flauping over the intercom.
When we heard "my dick is flopping, please report to baggage claim" we were rolling on the floor laughing. 😂

My first gigging rig was a Peavey Studio 110 red stripe and an Epiphone Les Paul- no pedals. And the worst gig we ever played- turned out to be the best. Our drummer booked us without saying a word to any of us, we had only been together for about 6 weeks- we didn't have enough material worked out to do a show- not even close. That said, we felt we couldn't back out- we were booked, so we play- that's how it works. But- we decided not to charge the guy who was throwing the party- and to tell the crowd that we just got together and basically were just going to have an open practice session and let them listen. There was between 150 and 200 ppl there- and it became a really fun, intimate venue where the ppl got to interact with us, watch us make mistakes, watch us work stuff out- and they loved it. They would ask for a song, it would take us 2-3 tries to get it right, but then we would play it for them- and they ate it up. We let ppl get up and sing- they loved that as well. It turned out to be the most fun I have ever had at any show- and I met my wife that night. X wife now, but that's my fault really- and a much sadder, longer story I don't want to get into. We were together for 10 yrs though so- that night had a huge influence on the rest of my life.

My rig for the one and only gig I've played
I had an Epiphone Les Paul Studio, and an E Series MIJ Squier Stratocaster which I found in a pawn shop. My amp was a Hughes & Kettner Tubemeister 18 head which I sat on top of a Blackstar 2×12 cab, and then my very affordable pedal board.

I used a JMP-1 for years, and then a Rocktron Voodu Valve, which I purchased from Soho Soundhouse in the early noughties, then back to a JMP-1 again. Both of those were awesome pieces of kit, but the Voodu had all the effects you'd need as well, which meant it could cover everything, and we all know how good Rocktron effects are.

I love the Revstar! Honestly, they are so underrated.

My band played a gig at Wombwell Working Men's club near Barnsley in 1990 on the day of the England V Germany world cup semi final which was being shown in the other room! You can guess how many people were watching us!

"A rat having a panic attack" would be my description of my first amp! 😂 That Peavey Studio Pro 15watt solid state amp cost me the same amount in shop a than a Mesa Boogie MkII clone (which i didn't know at the time) would have cost in shop b (because they labeled it falsely). And i chose the Peavey because the clone didn't have any name on it. Thinking back to this amp purchase i could still cry 40 years later...

"The cat or the guitar?" Lee and I would be great friends if we didn't live thousands of miles apart. 😅

Gee, Lee you couldn’t have been as absent minded as I was & I’m even worse as I’m basically 67, 🥸I often don’t know what day of the week that it is since I’m not doing paperwork at work anymore. I have to have the music in front of me which works for Church & that’s all I care to do anymore anyway. Super video by the way.👍

My first proper guitar was also a 1990 floral Ibanez Jem, and I also auditioned at G.I in Wapping, although I didn't go because of the cost. I played that guitar into an ADA MP1 and a Starfield 100x100 power amp and Marshall 2x12. The only thing I don't still own is the Marshall cab which I traded for a Gordon Smith explorer.

I remember that Jem in the shop window n twickers where i lived, think it was called something like westar music or something like that. I bought a 1970s Kimbarra les paul MIJ in there (which i still have tho needs work) and a Sound City 50 head and marshall 412 cab i used all on my early gigging years!
