    I'm from Belarus! and for the last 3 years I have been trying to find a country where I can live in peace. I lived in Dubai, Turkey, Poland.
    Recently I started thinking that I should try living in the USA. However, I don't like the USA, but your channel and your thoughts were able to change my mind! thanks for your work

    I have lived in Houston for 40 years and have never seen fire ants or snakes. I also never had allergies here because my diet is very healthy (and we have an organic yard).

      I appreciate your comment!!! I just came to visit recently and didn’t see any snakes either, which gave me so much relief 😮‍💨

      A native pushing 80 and I'm incredulous that you've never seen a fire ant! DOES NOT COMPUTE! Snake? Very easy to believe, but I'm gonna call BS on the fire ants claim. (Unless you never go outside.)

      Born and raised in Houston and am incredulous that you’ve never seen a fire ant or snake. Even if you’ve never gone outside - I had a Texas brown snake make its way into my home when I lived in The Heights…

    Would love for you to break down some areas that are not big but have potential for growth. Maybe some good areas to buy land and build homes for some of the younger people who can’t get into the Sienna’s of the world

    I lived on the west side of Harris County for 4 years when i transferred here from Chicago. It was boring and i grew tired of it very quickly. I moved to dickinson in Galveston county and couldn't be happier. The water is the place to be if you work hard and party hard.

    Do you ever address environmental risks of the neighborhoods you discuss? Flood zones are a real issue in Houston, are there current issues with obtaining flood insurance? What are the typical insurance costs of AE flood zones? A video identifying flood risk neighborhoods around Houston would be helpful to me.

    Agreeing with @Duranboy100. For instance I would be interested in hearing opinions of the Pasadena area. I cant find many videos on the area.

    • @Krysb107
      @Krysb107 9 месяцев назад

      Pasadena is an older area. It’s definitely more affordable, but I’d never choose to live there. A lot of the area is pretty run down and the traffic and congestion are bad. I grew up there and it’s definitely changed a lot. Most of the people I grew up with moved further out to places like Pearland, Friendswood, Manvel, and Alvin.

    The only problem with "affordability" in the western burbs like around Fulshear and Cypress is their property taxes are absolute bonkers. I live in one of the most popular burbs in the DFW area and my property taxes have been around 1.87-2.2% for the 20 or so years I've lived in my house. I'm thinking about moving to the Houston burbs and when I start seeing stuff like 3-3.7%, good Lord. Yeah, the houses are priced ok, but then you get beat over the head by those property taxes. It has me considering the Conroe, Tomball, and other areas, as well.

    I am planning to come Houston TX later this year with immigration visa of entire family. We have 4 kids form 4 years to 16. As might we will not able to get home loan in starting, so maximum we can have U.S $ 250,000. We are coming from Pakistan. Advise us where to live

      Sugar Land has a vibrant Pakistani and Indian community. Homes can be pricey but I would start by looking around that area, if proximity to that shared culture is important to you. Also, Sugar Land schools are some of the best in the state.
