Hood won't open 2010-2015 Toyota Prius EASY Fix. With broken cable easy fix. How to open manually.

How to open your hood on a 2010 to 2015 Toyota Prius when the lever on the inside of your car does not work. This will show you how to open the hood manually from underneath the car and also shows a hack fix for the broken plastic piece that hooks onto the latch that opens the hood.
Note: washer used for hack fix. the outer diameter of the washer is 1 inch and the diameter of the inner hole of the washer is 5/16"

Thanks for the info! My 2010 Prius has a lever on the bottom of the latch (below the spring), as well. Push it towards the passenger side and done!

Was thinking the fuse box would be a good place to hide a spare keyfob, but sure how would open the hood though?
