When you go top trim level on the new Accord. Imo, it’s an Acura with a Honda badge for less money. The quality really is that good and feels premium. This car can definitely put you to sleep how smooth and quiet it is. Really enjoying our 23 Touring! Came from a 21 2.0t Touring.

Many people think that the appearance of this generation of Accord is boring and dull. I don't think so. It is simple, restrained, calm and powerful. The simple and accurate lines make me feel like a classic American muscle car. It is neat and not fancy. I am very I like it, beautiful car

One of my local Honda Dealers offered me $20k for my 2018 base model Accord that had low miles and a blue title in hand. I ended up flipping keys for the 2024 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring while financing about the same amount over 5 years I did in 2018 for my old car. I'm very happy with my purchase. The Accord Hybrid Touring handles very well, the power is enough, I enjoy the Bose Surround Sound System, and Honda did very well this generation of trimming down on engine and road noise in the cabin. Something I noticed immediately. For months I tried shopping for a TLX with Tech Package, but after test driving this car I absolutely could not justify the extra $7k-$8k for the Acura when the sporty/power feel of the Acura wasn't among the top of list of things I wanted. I agree with your review that my only slight disappointment is the black piano matte pieces along the cupholders and inside the doors. Other than that, I love the car and how smooth and silent the ride is. That and the regen braking makes the car close to a one pedal drivier which really reduces my stress levels having to do a lot of commuting around the city for work.

Facts. Before inflation my Wrangler was way more affordable. Costs of insurance, parts, service has convinced me to go back to a car. No 4x4 fluid, overpriced off road tires, better gas mileage, etc. The current environment makes cars less fun for sure. I planned on lifting my Jeep when I got it but it got so outrageously expensive decided to just save my money. Testing out the Mazda 3, Civic and Integra.

I’d love it if station wagons would make a comeback in the US, but I feel like the crossover SUV has really taken over that market niche. If we just took the 11th gen Accord and added D pillars to square off the back the storage space would be amazing. Then again, it likely wouldn’t sell well because the current fad in North America are crossovers that allow you to sit higher up so you can see over all the other crossovers/pickups on the road, and the CRV is doing very well in that market.

I've had the 2023 Accord Hybrid EX-L for two months. I went with the EX-L for the 17 inch wheels. None of the extra features of the Touring trim prompted me to step up. Overall, extremely satisfied. The Lane Keeping Assist question is interesting. In the interest of keeping the driver engaged, it wants some level of correction from the driver every 10 seconds or so. It's not enough to "keep hands on the wheel." I can live with that. The infotainment screen placement isn't as "stuck on" as it seems. There is a nice finger-tip ledge at the bottom to allow one-finger touch control without complete focus on the screen. All the controls that need to be physical controls are implemented as physical controls.
Customization of the gauge screen gets a big plus. With the current speed clearly posted (and clustered with speed limit signs, cruise control, etc.), neither the power gauge nor the speedometer need to be prominent. They can be reduced to bar gauges at the sides, adjacent to fuel and battery gauges. This leaves the rest of the display less crowded and open to more customization.
The "Zen factor" is exactly right. This is a very comfortable and relaxing car to drive.

I love my 2024 Honda Civic Hatchback! They have a leg up too in that market bc they are one of the only car brands that has a traditional hatchback car that's not a crossover or a SUV... That's definitely what I prefer and I know some other people do too! You get the extra cargo space but without the worse gas mileage! This is my first Honda and I probably won't own any other brand now! Probably the best handling out of anything I've ever driven!

1 reason I chose a sedan: Creature comfort for a big driver. I wanted a RAV4 Prime or CRV Hybrid, but both were incredibly cramped inside with my knees in my chest. The Accord Hybrid and the Camry Hybrid, which I ended up buying were both very comfortable. They need to make SUVs and mid-size trucks that can accommodate full extension for someone 6’4 and above, at least 56” of hip room, and maintain headroom.

I do like the body design. In the late 90's and early 2000's, I owned a couple of Accords. Loved them. But, living in Minnesota I wanted something with all wheel drive. As for this car, the only thing I didn't care for is the placement of the large screen. This not a Honda thing, this with all car manufacturers that position the large the same way. Not a fan when the screen looks like it is just "stuck" into the dash. As opposed to being placed and integrated into the dash. But this is not a deal breaker. I'd get use to it. Don't mind taking off the tire in order for the bike to fit, as long as it fits. I'd buy this car, this color. Wonder if in Europe and Asia, Honda sells a manual? Kurt, great review as always.

That’s odd about the Lane Keep Assist, I was given a 2022 Honda CRV as a loaner car and was so impressed because there was no ping ponging , just a nice smooth in the middle of the road drive. (It was SO relaxing!) So it would seem Honda has the ability to refine this. I was delivering new Dodge Trucks to dealers as trades and they are the worst! Had to turn it off. Good review as always.✌️
