Seeing TFL and Trail recon in the same video is like watching the first Avengers movie when it first came out. All our favorite super heroes in one place lol
Why no lite brite?
Duuuuuuuuude yes!
@@txtobler2 lol
@@txtobler2 I was about to say the same! That'd be such a squad if it was trail recon, tfl, and lite Brite.
@@txtobler2 would you loan Kevin a brand new 392? lolol
Unforgettable experience!! I want a 392!!
Heck ya, it was a day I won't soon forget!
Don't we all want a 392?!
That thing sounds amazing, I want one in my 4Runner!
i love you marco seeing you preparing food making me hungry everytime god bless yall
what about towing ?
Hah, Roman with the nice words. Good guys over at TFL.
Roman and TFL are classy. Another reasons to be a TFL fan!
I thought the video changed when Roman started talking. Haha
How awesome is TFL for there channel endorsement... Roman isn't lying either this channel is awesome. Thnx for the great content
Thank you and I was truly a taken back and humbled by his comments. TFL is some of the best informative content out there and those guys are a blast to hang out with on the trails!
Both great channels (er...networks??? with TFL having so many?), this is just a little more focused
I caught TFL's video on the 392 and they were giggling also while driving it. They also said they saw the guys from TrailRecon on the trail too.
@@TrailRecon I betcha Nathan is the funnest. His dry sarcastic humor is so awesome. Roman and his son are nice guys. Mr. Truck has no humor, just business.
@@TrailRecon to what kind of exhaust does it have it sounds like a loud exhaust and sounds good
Really great work on this guys! Truly the best adventure vids out there. It was a pleasure meeting you, would love to meet up again soon!
Side Note TFL... You Guys Rock too 👍
Greatness right here Roman awesome words for Trail Recon ! TFL IS THE BEST
You’ve gotta love the off-roading community. You’re not going to find such awesome, selfless support anywhere else, outside of a church.
Love the TFL cameo. Those guys are great :)
You guys are awesome!! It was great seeing you! So much fun!!
392 Hemi Jeep’s are fun 😉
Oh wouldn’t you guys know now 😂
I bet! But, yours is better having those wontons. Still waiting for the day Jeep puts in axles that are reliable, this should have atleast a dana 60 rear!
Ben take the price you paid for your jeep, minus the suspension mods plus add the cost of v8 swap.....are u at 70k?
@@joshuacripe1514 20k original Jk purchase price + Hemi cost (next video reveal) is welllll under 70
@@JKGearandGadgets but yours doesn’t have the “fun button”!
I paid 48k for my fully loaded rubicon. No way I could afford 80k. Looks awesome
Well welcome to the netherlanda we pay here €96K/$120K for base 4 door rubicon with 272HP
Yeah, I mean if you really need something for the tighest, gnarliest stuff and you have the money then maybe I can see it. But for me, a Raptor will handle almost all these trails, soak up the high speed stuff, have more room, and be way more comfortable.
@@plus790 ive owned nothing but jeeps my entire life but I agree with you. I’ll never drive anything else but for 80k I’d rather a raptor or nice Tahoe lol
Yeah, will always be out of my price range but fun to watch.
Don't forget the markup and the the dealership. 😕. Ya, I will stick with my ecodiesel. Rubicon which was 62. That's the top of my budget.
I can express how much I love Brad and Marco together, you guys could literally talk about paper - I’m watching it 😂😂😂 great channel!!!!
Roman, that was so sporting of you to endorse Trail Recon. It's just one more reason I support TFL on Patreon.
You and Marco should do these types of videos more often. Good commentary on the 392. Very good review. Thats why I keep coming back.
Brad + Marco + fun button = infectious smile, I was smiling as much as they were!
That was an unexpected cross over, love TFL
I just saw you guys racing the TFL guys on their 392 video
Oh ya, we were having a blast out there and those guys are a ton of fun on the trail!
Sold my 2014 SRT 300 and went back to a Jeep. Now I can have both! Awesome guys.
Love watching Roman and the gang as well as Brad
That thing sounds so awesome! Definitely should add one to the TrailRecon fleet!
I'd love to have one, but still really enjoying the Diesel.... 20+ mpg on the way home from Moab!
@@TrailRecon yes. We love our Diesel trucks here in Malaysia. Make more sense.
@@TrailRecon do you prefer the diesel over the HEMI? Do you think they will make a 392 gladiator?
@@TrailRecon I was all set on the diesel but Moab is my home turf and two things are holding me back. 1. How do you feel it would work as a rock crawler? Any turbo lag that would be a problem? 2. I talked to PSC and they said they are long way from having a kit ready for it. I'm so spoiled by hydro assist I'm not sure I can live without it now.
@@TrailRecon Speaking of which, what is the fuel capacity on the 392? With it's lower fuel economy, I wonder what kind of range it can get. Certainly probably quite a bit less than the diesel, which means to me the diesel is going to be better for longer off grid trips.
You got to love that raw v8 sound, like an angry beast itching to break free. The kind of engine sound where you always drive with the radio off and your foot romping that pedal. All in a vehicle with solid axle 4wd and body on frame design that can go anywhere. This is what owning a vehicle is about, something that makes you grin from ear to ear, a vehicle that gets the heart pumping and makes you feel alive. With other car companies pumping out boring economy vehicles that are bland and useless, Mopar gets it. We as human beings still want that raw old school power, that sense of adrenaline and excitement, and a vehicle we can point to and say with pride "That is my truck"
Game changer.
I don’t know why they didn’t do this before, but it seems like the Bronco competition gave them the push they needed to get it done.
I love that it’s not just like “uh” V8, but a BIG V8.
Yup
As two Broncos passed buy on the video!!! 👀
Ha! I just knew one day I will see TrailRecon and TFL in the same off-road video!! 🙌🙌🙌
Next we need a 392 Gladiator I would buy it.
With a single cab!
@@John-cq3hk a single cab 392 is the only way I'd consider getting a new gladiator lol
@@AlftraZignTriOxide yeah because that’s ever going to happen
I think they will convert the Mojave into the 392 Gladiator
@@CoveringFish same was said about the 392, for years
Already smacking the exhaust pipes on the rocks!
You noticed that too? Nice in theory, but not so in the execution. And this is with the extra inch in ground clearance.
Good on Roman I love both channels thanks guys
Seeing the smile on your faces like a couple of kids that just got their first car!!! Priceless .. looked alot of fun and yes it sounded awesome
Awesome to see the pure joy on your faces! That's the way an American vehicle should sound. Wish I was there.
Ohhhhhhhh ohhhh ohhh Brad&Marco Wrangler &V8... Over the TOP!!!
I have watched a lot of your videos brad, I have never seen you and Marco smile so much !!! :)
These things are dope man, but dealer markup is gonna be INSANE
I called 5 dealers all of them want 20 to 25k pack
Seriously you can get a new rubicon for 50k and put 30k in mods and that would be the better route, imo. If they brought the msrp down to like 65k they'd sell way more of them and it'd be a closer decision to pay for the v8 upgrade or not.
Stupid dealers.
@@shoegum7362 80k??, these thing sell for 75-77k and you don't lose warranty
I just hope they grace us 2 door lovers with a 392. A 2 door diesel would be nice too.
I like how Jeep knows to get RUclips influencers to drive these new 392s. What better opinion than the guys who Jeep for a living?
Yes. The auto manufacturers have it down. Probably much cheaper than tv ads too
I want that spotter! I like how she tells you good job all the time!
Simply awesome!! Great video Brad and nice to see Marco too. Thanks for sharing.
Oh man, my new dream vehicle....want one now thank to you TrailRecon!
The Joy on your face Brad says it all! Also would love to see you collab with Roman at TFL! That was really nice (and true) what he said
This HMI Wrangler is so awesome and the V8 sound so cool. I had a permanent smile in my face watching the Video. Beside, looks to be great performance on the trail!!
Great rundown on it.
Can’t wait for ours to get here. Ships next week 🤘🏼
Hey there Brad too you and Marco congratulations on your guises success I am a loyal follower too you both please continue to not only elaborate on different things but collaborate together constantly you guys are a fantastic team all I have to say!!👍👍 I am also a jeep owner Rubicon and Range Rover sport you guys are fantastic and awesome also thank you for your service many blessings Daniel J from San Jose California
Great post as always guys. Saw the 392 impromptu race w/ TFL, you'll get them next time. Great to see ALL (Broncos too), relaxed and having fun. Definition of happy, Marcos' FACE, pure joy. Needed for all, Thank you.
Electric motor kick in when shift to 4-low,Off-roader sometimes need extra torque, No need for big battery。The battery also good for extra light and camping need. Total weight reduction is important also the exhaust.
Seeing Marco happy is enjoyable
I was on the trail that day. You guys passed us while we were broke down. We that you guys were a bunch of newbies. They were keeping you guys on a tight leash. Then we were shone the v8 under the hood. They sounded great!!
Now we need the 5.7 in the 2DR
That would be a great setup!
It's incredible that they're building this. Before the 392 wrangler existed I would get quotes at different off-road shops for engine conversions. They would run at least 20-30k with no warranty and def wouldn't drive nearly as good. I've been waiting for years for them to build this!
I'm in love with the sound of that engine. It reminds me of the '78 V8 CJ-5 Renegade. If I am able to get a Rubicon 392 it will be red, and I will call it Maximillian.
That Jeep is a monster! The definition of awesome! Thanks for the video.
Definitely the best overview of the 392 I’ve seen! I’d love to get one but I know they’re going to be marked up a lot. We’ll see. Awesome video Brad🤙🏻
Thanks! 👍
I have a 2020 charger with the 392. These wranglers are gonna kick some ass!
Great video, this channel has grown so much and will continue growing forsure. Man this jeep is such a beast
Appreciate it!
That cranberry color of the 392 that you were in was an amazing color. Really looked good on that Jeep
Thank you Bred. Your channel really pushed me to buy my own Jeep freedom last year. Can't wait to upgrade mine to 392 in few years. Love your channel.
$70k + mark up.... guess I’ll be keeping my LJ another 10 years 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Glorious sounding! I can't swing a payment on a $75k vehicle but I will enjoy my 18 jlu sport as best as possible
Also, isn't it time for Marco to get an upgrade? 😉
THANKS BRAD AND MARKO.. YOU DROVE MY COLOR TO HAVE POWER WAGON THAT COLOR...LOVE IT ...LUV YA'S....
Great video as always. Congrats on 400k !!
Thank you so much 😀
Love the review. Cannot wait to drive one myself.
That was AWESOME to see Roman on the show haha!
Must feel so cool to mash the gas in a Wrangler and actually go!
2 men who i love them both of you are very respectable and so much friendly
I love the Hemi in my WK but often wish it had beefy straight axles instead of IFS. The new Jeep Wranglers look great. The concern is that “the more complicated the plumbing, the easier it is to plug up the drain.” All those electronics also add weight. Only the future will decide their reliability. Lots of fun, and I’ll bet you didn’t have to buy the gasoline either!
7:06 That was an awesome and we'll deserved comment from Roman (TFL) 👌🙌
V8's are just so seductive !! Transforms any vehicle!!
Your smiles and laughter told me everything I needed to know. Definitely a cool Jeep. I think I'll still look for a low mileage PW this summer. Thanks for the great video!
Just got my job and I'm loving it already
Most people don't understand what a Jeep is about. It's not about horsepower! the first jeeps had small 4 cylinders. A jeep is not a race car. There is no need for speed when your rock climbing or trail riding. The goal of trail riding is to get back to nature taking your time to enjoy nature.
That had to be so much fun! Loved the Oregon hoodie too Brad!
I watched this while sitting in my power wagon... that low rumble in the background was awesome! I need one of those giggle buttons. The Jeep appears much more responsive than my stocker PW.
Wholesome jeep dads at it again
Now we wanna Gladiator 392. 💪🏼💪🏼
I like Brad’s grin and laugh at 10:00 best. It’s a the big boys with the big toys 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Love your channel, one of if not the best offroad channels, enjoyed seeing TFL in there also, another great channel. Got to say I'm envious that you got to drive the 392...got to be awesome
I'll wait few years, but the jeep 392 looks awesome
I like the 392, but I would like it far more with a standard transmission option.
Nobody buys standard transmission anymore bub. Like hand cranks starters, they don't make sense these days.
@@krane15
Well, bub... that's because most of you don't understand how to drive standard or understand how much control a standard transmission gives a driver.
Same here....as much as I'd love the power of one of these and I'm not brand loyal, I'd opt for a manual bronco if I needed a SUV in this segment. Having said that, I wonder how much a tremec 6pd conversion is for one of these, as well as a TRX.
Yea...that i don't understand. After having 3 manuals....ill never go back. Too much of a pain in the ass
Jeep guys getting a taste of the fun raptor drivers have been having. :D
With that new power and stiffened frame, let the pre-runner builds commence!
Sounds great for highway performance, but it's a lateral move for crawling: more power, but also more weight
That red color is awesome
What an awesome machine! I think that would be a nice upgrade for Marco!
It must have taken a lot of strength to ignore the Bronco's rolling past
Nah
Fords in no hurry to fulfill their orders, so I’m not in any hurry to consider buying one.
Broncos will need an ECU flash to keep up with the 392. Broncos are coming sooner than you realize... ;)
The Broncos with IFS will never be as capable as a vehicle with solid axles. That is not opinion, it's just the nature of the beast. IFS is inherently weaker than solid. Broncos may be able to do a lot, but any hardcore off-roader using a Bronco is using the first or second generation with solid axles. Yes, I know Baja vehicles have IFS, but they do more high-speed unimproved road racing, not rock-crawling. The 35" tires on the Sasquatch are pretty much at the upper limit of what a passenger vehicle IFS can handle without completely re-engineering the vehicle . A vehicle with solid housings can be reinforced or upgraded all the way to 8 lug full-floating axles with bigger gears, u-joints, Etc. and beyond in a person's garage and handle 37", 40", 44", Etc. You can only do about a 2.5" lift on an IFS without a re-engineering because the joints on a half-shaft can only handle so much of an angle and if stressed with large tires that are too tall, it puts enormous strain on the CV joints, especially under power at extreme angles and you will be stranded. What I am saying is there are far more serious limitations to IFS compared to solid axles.
Not knocking the Bronco per se, I think it was built and marketed to a different crowd rather than to steal Jeep's crowd. I think it was a mistake to use IFS. Sure, it's more comfy on the road, but it limits the potential of what the vehicle could otherwise achieve.
As soon as you mashed the gas and that beautiful sound hit our ears my wife looked at me and said “Call the dealer!” Thanks Brad & Marco, you just cost me some money, LOL!!
LOL! She's a keeper!
@Tom S, indeed it did happen, because she knows it’s her JLUR that will be traded in, not my Gladiator ! 😄
You and Marcos face says it all!! Great video Brad!
Where are the extra fuel can mounts you’re gonna need after getting on the throttle? Love the sound of that Hemi!
Yep, the gas tank has definitely gotta grow to feed that beast.
@@krane15 yea. Disappointing...I'd love a 30 gallon tank
You need that one ASAP😎. Great video as al my friend. God bless you.
Gonna need to tow a gas station behind it. Lol
So true. But everything's a trade off.
Good I got a promotion, now time to save!
I have a Grand Cherokee with the 5.7L Hemi. I love having the paddle shifters for towing my travel trailer. I can hold a gear in the hills.
Grate job guys, 392 will never come to Colombia through the dealers, but I’ll buy and import directly. Amazing job guys.
I had my eyes peeled to see you guys out there but unfortunately it didn't happen. Maybe next year. You guys are awesome.
Absolutely awesome! Great video Brad! I would love to have one in my garage!
This video was discouraged by my financial planner but totally encouraged by my psychiatrist. I’m firing my financial planner🤟🤟🤟Excellent Review
Glad to see you both enjoying this Jeep. Just like in the 70s with the cj5 and the 304 that's a great combo!
This is the best Jeep ever
Great video Brad and Marco!
👍🏼👍🏼 Superb video Brad. Roman said it, surprisingly, Trail Recon is the best. Your video was way more informative, great job.
Awesome. We have a Wrangler 4xe and Power Wagon on the way from factory. Your channel definitely helped us with our purchase decisions. Especially shifting to the Power Wagon vs.TRX we previously had on order.
I was so excited to see this video I forgot to like and share the new jeep lineup video with the overlanders in it!!!!!
I drove 2 of them out of Toledo and transported them to dealers in PA! It was awesome
Roman and Marco are my favorite people. Mostly Marco though. Reminds me of Mexican hospitality like he is about to offer me pan dulce and café while he gives me life advice.
Looks like you guys had an awesome day playing in Moab!
Oh yeah!! Looks like a pile of fun!!
Would definitely get one of those if I had the money. Very nice.
So jealous of you and Marco! That was cool beyond belief. When Jeep rumored the Hemi in a Wrangler last Summer, I thought ya, they've done concepts before, what makes this such a sure thing. And here it is. Not a coincidence Jeep released the teaser video the same week Ford officially announced the new Bronco (cool that you passed two and included them in your video). Jeep has definitely raised the bar for stock off road vehicles. The cool button just brings out your inner muscle car lover. Can't wait to see them on the street. Safe Travels and God Bless Brothers!
