SoCal has gone crazy over this car in the last 2 months. Unless you want a V6 or Hellcat, there is no inventory of R/Ts or ‘Packs left. If there is, dealer has a $8-10k markup on it! 🤦♂️
I have seen that markup stuff out there......that’s crazy....especially if you’re ordering new, why not go to a neighboring state? Widebody is the way to go
Well, I have widened the search on cars.com. One dealership near Vegas will actually cover to fly you in 🤣. I just might have to do that. Make a trip out of it 🤷🏻♂️
I have the same car except mine is a Hellcat. I made a mistake by doing ceramic and not adding clear bra. Invest in clear bra ASAP. I have Rock chips everywhere.
Hellcat box won't fit the 2019 Scat Pack. Already tried for mine. Love to see more detail views of your Katzkin seats. I've heard the stitching is not straight. Super nice looking car!
Checkout “392SilverBullet” on RUclips....he has the hellcat air box installed on his Widebody scatpack. Of the stitching isn’t straight on the Katzkin, I cannot tell the difference. Looks great to me
DavidPruittTV for the Katzkin....the most important thing is to find a really installer.....I got lucky and had access to a guy who has been doing interior installs for 30 years....did a great job. I have seen a Katzkin install that didn’t look that good....ripples in the leather, etc. mine is nice and tight to the seats....looks like a factory install
I agree, I've seen some really poor installs out there. I have a picky eye for that. I plan to order the Full leather package without the vinyl sides, should allow to leather to shrink some and reduce the wrinkles, especially around the rib area. Yours turned nice! You in TMP?
I have heard anywhere from $750 (for 3-year) to $2000. The $2000 was from a dealership after their b.s. markup. the product itself is not expensive...you could always try to do it yourself. the price is mostly dependent on the labor.....the more paint corrections that your car needs, the higher the price is going to be
Probably not. But if you are looking to keep the cost down, I would suggest ordering it from the factory, therefore only paying for the options you want. I ordered mine in Jan and did the paperwork on the last day in Feb. at that time there were $1750 in rebates from Dodge and I got a $1000 USAA discount. the only options I got were auto trans, widebody, red calipers, alpine stereo, and the leather interior. I payed $500 over invoice which was $47500 (which includes the discounts above) before tax/tag. I have a close friend who runs a dodge dealership, so I got a fair deal, and the reality is that there is not a lot of markup on the Challenger scatpacks between invoice and MSRP. Compared to a RAM1500 which has a ton of markup and therefore can be negotiated way down from MSRP.
I built mine...took 8 weeks. that really helped keep the cost down. I didn't want to pay for seats when I was doing leather after the fact. Plus, I also didnt want the tech package that is just basically blind spot warning...I think that was $1700.
put some paint protection film on the front. You wont regret it. You already spent $ on the ceramic coating. You're gonna be upset on your first rock chip if you don't.
as for the shipping guard, i made the mistake of leaving it on for about a week and it accumulated some tiny pebbles that gave the actual splitter guard some minor scratches. I was able to buff it out. Dirt does accumulate in between the protector and guard.
@@nchargeny yeah....not sure when Im gonna take off the guard......Ive looked at a couple of used straight-body Hellcats and was contemplating an upgrade.....every single one of them....the front splitter was destroyed. So I can;t decide if I would rather have a couple of small scratches underneath from the splitter guard OR take it off and take my chances.
James Woodard mopar has a partnership with a company called “Katzkin” I think the kit for my car was $700 or $800.......and then another $500 for the install.....the key is finding an experienced installer
SAVAGE LENTEGAS they don't allow the black paint and red interior for the wb scatpack, last i checked it was exclusive for the redeye this year but it's stupid since they allowed that color combo for previous years. That turned me off and didn't end up getting one
Sold in December for 2017 challenger hellcat with 12k miles (regular body).....completely different car.....6months into having the scatpack, i regretted it
@@srtyachty8303 You can't really upgrade the 6.4L.....you can, but it becomes way more expensive than simply buying a lightly-used Hellcat (I paid $49K for mine). Plus with a Hellcat, you get a factory designed vehicle. Once you do serious mods to a 392, you are on your own. There is a very reputable Hemi performance shop near me, but they want $18K to get a 6.4L close to Hellcat power. Even they admit, they don't like to do it.

The car doesn’t have seat coolers my Daytona has that ?
Beautiful car 👍🏼
I just removed the Challenger Script off the front grill. I think it looks better, my wife liked it better with it on.
splitter looks great
I’m thinking of trading in my STI for a wide body scat pack. I average 17.5 mpg what is the average on the scat pack with some spirited acceleration?
Robert Rouse I am not a good judge....I have a Truck also.....I do short trips in my scat and get around 10mpg
Whats the fastest 0-60 you've done?
Donald Trump haven’t tested it
please put the link of where you purchased them
the interior? the rock guards?
Hey Mike any new upgrades since this? Can we count on more videos of this beast?
Chandler Osborne hellcat airbox and billet catch can
Do you have to Pedal commander?
Awesome video man
be careful just spraying water and going at it with a micro fiber. Any dust or dirt will marr the clear coat.
The car is ceramic coated....the ceramic sits in top of the clear coat and is certified 9H
Keep the red splitter it looks good
SoCal has gone crazy over this car in the last 2 months.
Make a trip out of it 🤷🏻♂️
I also live in SoCal but flew to indiana and got it ordered with no markup. It’s insane that we have to leave the state to find decent pricing.
i’m getting this when i’m 27! which is in 12 years
Same here... I’m getting it at 25 (so insurance can be lower) which is in 4 years... the anticipation man
I have the same car except mine is a Hellcat. I made a mistake by doing ceramic and not adding clear bra. Invest in clear bra ASAP. I have Rock chips everywhere.
Yeah....its on my list of things. No rock chips for me yet.
Take that crap off lol would you leave the plastic on your couch? The plastic wrap on your tv?
Looks good besides that.
Araris Valerian thanks for the comments. I also wear my dress shirts with the plastic wrap on after they’ve been to the dry cleaners
Was looking at a Silver and a Octane Red one or maybe a Hellkitty. Still undecided.
I ordered mine and was surprised how difficult it was to pick a color. The Widebody was made for black, but if I daily drove it I would think twice.
@@mikereeves282 I decided on a white one, just put a deposit on it today. :-)
Sky1 scatpack Widebody? Nice. White with black hood?
Great video👍
Splitter looks great!
Car was great, but upgraded to a Hellcat
I do love the paint strip
Bad calma
Keep the splitter brother !!
He sounds like he stole something and is trying to get the fuck out of dodge
You in TMP?
DavidPruittTV yes.... Tampa
How much did u pay for your ceramic?
I have heard anywhere from $750 (for 3-year) to $2000. The $2000 was from a dealership after their b.s. markup. the product itself is not expensive...you could always try to do it yourself. the price is mostly dependent on the labor.....the more paint corrections that your car needs, the higher the price is going to be
813 Hemi I appreciate that. Where you get it done?
Frank Smith TFats autospa in Tampa,Florida
Is this 1320 scat pack R/T
Temel Erdinch No....scat pack widebody
how much cost this scatpack?
MSRP with the leather interior was $51500. I negotiated down from there and there were also incentives from Dodge at the time as well.
@@mikereeves282 what about a regular hellcat 2015 how much it cost now ?
Check Engine around 45
Can you make a video about pricing and payments?
Trading in my v6 for one of these next March, just hard to find it in octane red with the alcantra seats around here.
You can always build your own version online
I built mine...took 8 weeks. that really helped keep the cost down. I didn't want to pay for seats when I was doing leather after the fact. Plus, I also didnt want the tech package that is just basically blind spot warning...I think that was $1700.
@@mikereeves282 well it mightve helped knowing the poor visibly
Congrats
put some paint protection film on the front.
Where did ya order seat covers
James Woodard mopar has a partnership with a company called “Katzkin” I think the kit for my car was $700 or $800.......and then another $500 for the install.....the key is finding an experienced installer
Mike Reeves thanks
Keep the splitter protector. Looks good.
Corinth is known for its leather.
Ricardo Montalbán please pick up the house phone.

The lip guard looks awful. Burn it. Rest of car is 👍

i have same car same year almost 1 year. never washed or vacuumed. who cares? Almost time for new. just a car.
wow
I dont know why dodge doesnt offer the red suede seats in the challenger for 2019 anymore. Would really go nicelywith this car
Mr Scowl Face I was able to get the 19 widebody scat pack with the red alcantera if that’s what ur talking about
Destroyer grey with red alcantera is a great combo
SAVAGE LENTEGAS they don't allow the black paint and red interior for the wb scatpack, last i checked it was exclusive for the redeye this year but it's stupid since they allowed that color combo for previous years. That turned me off and didn't end up getting one
@@matador6604 what if you went to the dealership personally and told them to build your wb challenger with red suede seats
I’m getting this @15 so 2 years
Sold in December for 2017 challenger hellcat with 12k miles (regular body).....completely different car.....6months into having the scatpack, i regretted it
@@mikereeves282 why you regretted it?
@@srtyachty8303 You can't really upgrade the 6.4L.....you can, but it becomes way more expensive than simply buying a lightly-used Hellcat (I paid $49K for mine). Plus with a Hellcat, you get a factory designed vehicle. Once you do serious mods to a 392, you are on your own. There is a very reputable Hemi performance shop near me, but they want $18K to get a 6.4L close to Hellcat power. Even they admit, they don't like to do it.

Change the oil at 1,500, you will notice a smoother engine.

Brad Lett yeah.....I put that in last summer....it works
Take it off I hear it rubs the splitter.
3rdworlddog the scratches it makes are slight and hard to see. Before I bought this car I looked at 2 low mileage hellcats, no splitter guard, and the front lip-spoiler looked like shit and had plastic pieces hanging off of it....it’s a catch-22
@@mikereeves282 so let me get this straight, you are protecting plastic with a cheaper piece of plastic? And you’re never going to expose the part of the car that looks best and was designed to be exposed?

I think the challenger and chargers are badass cars, but come on dodge. How bout a real wide body instead of slapping some bushwacker flares on those beautiful cars.
REGGIE PERRY it’s all in the spirit of keeping the price around $50k. If they had a separate body for the Widebody upgrade it would probably be too expensive. The hidden gem with the Widebody upgrade is the hellcat/bilstein suspension.
GT 43 true, but the real value in the Widebody option is the hellcat suspension......it is what it is.....looks good and don’t see many out there....a lot of people ask me if my car is a demon.....I laugh and say “no”...... but is funny
