The thing with Agents of Mayhem is that I can forgive it for a few reasons 1) The majority of the OG Saints Row characters actually come back as playable characters 2) It fits into the franchise's story, as this is supposed to be the remade world Johnny wished for in Gat out of hell, making that ending canon 3) It actually respects the original story and timeline of Saints Row. One good example is Kingpin's backstory. See, Kingpin is actually Pierce Washington, and in this unviverse, instead of the playa taking out all the gangs in Saints Row 1, Pierce actually just pulled up and said "Yo, I got cash, let's all join up under me, and everyone goes home rich", basically making Tanya, Benjamin King, Los Carnales', etc. all work for him, making him the Kingpin of Saints Row. Or how despite being brought back in a new world, all the OG characters retained their old personalities, making it so they didn't just erase these characters, but simply put them in a new situation. It's not exactly Saints Row, but you can tell the soul of the franchise, and respect for it is still there.

Always hilarious when people drop into the comments to tell us how much they're enjoying their modern polished turd because they're living in an age where they've just come to accept poorly made (although sometimes pretty looking) golden turds. Games are all show with little substance these days, and the easily pleased will see it, eventually, in a decade once they've played many dozens of games and matured their tastes a little. The series is SR only in name now, none of the original vision and creativity is there anymore (nor i imagine any of the original creators that lead to it's success).
People have always sorta accepted trash, we just remember the good parts. Same as music, it never used to be better, but only all the good things are still played now so it seems like it was better. Although i hate it too you will never change the general public, they want a game that looks pretty and is a distraction.
the saints row remake shall now be known as Saints 22. in favor of another game that was named after the beginning of the franchise and ended up crashing and burning.
When modern games suck big southern eggs, you naturally start looking for entertainment from the golden age of gaming before companies became corporations who mastered the ability to make the same game eleven times over the course of twenty years while tricking their customers into paying double the price for half the work expended.
Oh my goodness they made a Saints row reference in a Saints row game, it must be a reference for the new sequel they are making, it goes by a very original name :"Sainst row"
Ah man, I forgot that you could take loans from loan sharks on that game! I used to take out loans just to NOT repay them because it added a bit of extra excitement lol. Every few days you'd get a phone call saying "where's our money??" and they'd send some goons after you to get it back. After ignoring them for long enough they'd start sending out helicopters to hunt you down! I remember the first time that happened to me. I was driving around and I was like "why do I keep hearing a helicopter?" lol. It could get pretty intense when you had 5 star police, 5 star gang notoriety and the loan sharks all trying to kill you at the same time! Also, in Saints Row you could only be a male character, but in Saints Row 2 you could choose to be a female. I loved that if you did make a female character in SR2, characters would often say "You look different....you do something with your hair?"

i miss playing this game as a kid sooooo much i had it on a demo disk and loved it, wonder how i can get it on PC
1 is only on xbox, 2 is on xbox and pc
you could try emulation though.
Pie rates
You can try emulating the game on xenia
so cpt Anderson was a Gangster Boss back in his youth
You should do a heavy rain psychopath play through
I didn't know Admiral Anderson was a part of this.
Man, I miss this game. I played it in the Summer of 2008 shortly before Saints Row 2 came out. A friend owned it and it's what made me buy my own 360. It's a shame when a 2006 game is infinitely better than a 2022 game by the same company.
Looks like Sims 2 gone rogue
Damn even after the sponsor
yeah I had to check if the last video was sponsored
They could’ve just made a remake of the first two games or a prequel of the vice kings rising to power
I didnt know commander Anderson started the saints
I’m glad they took away the purple highlights of the weapons in the sequel, but they looked alright in the first game.
They could actually remake this game (the tone, the story, the caracters) and upgrade the graphics and gameplay. But nooooo...
Keith David is not 'Mass effect Guy.' He's 'They Live Guy' I'll have you know😂
I’m back ok so where’s that pvp eso build you made…… oh shit what happened!? 2016 was the last time I saw your channel then I lost my account and gave up on RUclips now I see you my friend have grown ALOT! Kev holy shit bro love the new content! 💙
the second game is wonderfull, even the third,
And the fourth is even better.
@@kesik93 Eh, if you say so...
All they had to do for the new Saint's Row game was to not call it Saint's Row, should have made a new IP.
It could've been saint's row origins for there new game since thats wat the game's story is suppost to be like
" so...are you single?" *Kev drives into oncoming traffic*
Remastering this and Saints Row 2 should be Volition's next move
If it doesn't have old Nokia phones and Gat, then that ain't reboot!
RIP to Idol Ninja. All the work he did isn't gonna go to waste tho. Saints Row 2 patch to fix issues n move to steam's servers to enable multiplayer again is still under the works. There is a pinned comment under the discussion tag on SR2's community steam page that details everything going on.
Kev I know you can't heart this comment (plausible deniability goes out the window if you do)
But fuck ya brother, massive respect
Took their money but then came through for your fans anyway.
To think I was actually quite annoyed today because another youtuber I watch uploaded a literal 20 minute ad read where he doesn't even play the game just talks about how amazing its mechanics are off a script lmao
But you turned my day around and restored my faith in youtubers
Not even kidding, insurance fraud was the most fun activity in the game. The others are good, but damn those ragdoll tosses when a car hits that sweet spot and sends you FLYING were satisfying and hilarious.
I love Saints Row 1-2-3-4 equally, 3 being my favourite, but i consider them all equally entertaining.
I didn't know "Agents of Mayhem" existed and I'm fine with not finding out more.
My favorite part, when you said Battlefront is a good game 😂 I actually laughed. Good vid, I can't believe they massacred the new Saints either...
Saint's Row 2022 makes Agents of Mayhem look like Saint's Row 3
I loved Saints Row 1, I wish they kept the vehicle explosions, shotgun physics and other guns as well for the sequels
"this shitll cost you 600 dollas in the stowe - whatever mann"
Lives in my head rent free all these years lol
Bro ignored gat out of hell lol
