Loved this game. Doing the 72 hour survival achievement was so messed up. You had to have the console on the whole time. You had to have the right magazines, food etc. I got the achievement. Then my first 360 died two days later. RROD.
That 360 can be revived from that state and it can be fixed permanently by a piece of plastic. At it's core, the RROD is caused by an airflow issue with the fans where the fans cool one part of the 360 and leave the other one to presumably heat up and desolder, resulting in loose connections. That's all I remember about what I've learned about it.
In Dead Rising 2 & Off the Record at least. You can Get the skateboard magazine, get a skateboard, find a curb or lip you can skate UP/Over and jump the moment your about to ramp anything and you’ll fly really high if not in a roofed area. Haven’t seen a single video on it yet it’s a game breaking glitch 😂 funnest part about playing Dead rising 2 for me.
Glad you found this game Kev, it's a classic for sure and one of my favorite games of all time! This was one of the early launch games of the xbox 360 so they really refined it and put so much detail into the game! Believe it or not you are only scratching the surface of the game with how much you explored! There's tons of different mini boss physcos to fight who all drop unique and OP weapons you can pick up and use, and the weapons respawn everytime you leave the room and come back. Different magazines you pick up and the different shakes/juices you blend all give you different/extra stats. There's tons of side quests and rescue missions with the npcs throughout the game, tons of unique weapons, you lvl up and learn extra combat moves and other useful stats as you go through, hidden/secret shortcuts through the mall, unlockable outfits and props from doing achievements, plus the whole story campaign with different endings options which is very enjoyable in itself. There really is so much depth in this game if you take the time to play and explore it which I highly recommend you do! It's so much fun man! Hope you keep playing it and make more vids on it Kev.

These games are really fun but I never understood why they insist on the pattern of: 1) Put player open area with free reign to have complete sandbox fun. 2) Now make it timed so people don't have *too much* fun.
My understanding is that it's there for better replayability. Like the timing sucks at first, but when its gone then it just feels like any other open world game. To me the timing helps you realize all the fun tools to get, shortcuts to take, and mission priorities to focus on all so you can get everything done in time.
@@demon794 The time limit is the reason I beat 2 and 2 OtR multiple times but only beat 3 and 4 once. 3 has the option to have a time limit but with the map being a lot bigger and open and kind of confusing to navigate, a time limit in that game is too annoying.

If you haven’t played Dead Rising please try it out. It’s not a perfect game, but it one of those games that’s greater than the sum of its parts. Great open sandbox zombie fun with lots of charm and tons of replayablility

There's 4 main Dead Rising games. Along with an alternate version of Dead Rising 2 (Off the Record), a little mini-prequel game for Dead Rising 2, and even a weird lackluster Wii port of Dead Rising 1. There's also some weird mini-game things in DR3 and 4. And maybe even more that I'm unaware of. I would love to see you play literally all of them.
DR3 is personally my favorite even if others see it as lesser than the orginal two and honestly I'd love for the series to return after...dead rising 4 even of that was a dumpster fire of a game but I'm glad to see there are others making a return or even joining in on the series years later like how I did cause I never had an Xbox or pc until a year ago and rediscovered DR3 and the series and fell in love with it sad too see it not having been continued
The movie and game for eragon truly wounded me. It had such potential 😔 As for dead rising, the game was a blast! Nothing beats suplexing a zombie off the second story
This game was like my first xbox 360 game is was so addicting, I would pretend to be sick to play this. MY favorite capcom game as well, it has so much detail compared to the last 3.
Was one of my favourite games in my youth, best weapon for me was the mannequin body (throw/smash mannequin on wall first). Super durable, fast swing and floored zombies fast. The coat hanger was a very graphic end for them as well! :-)
Man this brings back memories. I played this game through so many times. Also its the first place i ever heard Celldweller. Switchback plays during one of the final missions in the underground.

This game annoyed me so much back when I tried it. The other people seemed to have a death wish and kept dying so easily. At one point a couple of people wouldn't even follow me and I got so annoyed that I bludgeoned them to death with a trash can. And those criminals outside were such a pain. When I finally got them I practically lost my mind when they respawned later on. And like Kevduit, I got annoyed with Otis getting cross with me because, God forbid, I cut him off while being halfways mauled to death by zombies.
This feels like some gods algorithm type stuff cause I subbed to him for his eso content a long time ago, and I just bought dead rising a couple days ago and a video of him just so happening to be playing it pops up

honestly you're supposed to start over if you die. Your progress gets saved and you start from the beginning with your leveled up stats.
