The full gravity of how crazy it is where this went is summed up in this video. From gangsters to aliens... man! Though I imagine Zinyak's death retconned via time travel. Saints Row 2 deaths are very weird; you kill them in-game, but there's a cutscene of them in tiptop shape, oftentimes escaping, I.E. Maero and Kazuo. The fact his superhuman durability is actually mentioned by Julius is why the series getting crazy at the third game didn't bug me, because it was always weird, since day one. And gotta feel bad for Ben, as the coup gave him nightmares for years, possibly PTSD too.
Kazuo should have just stayed in Japan, for all of his hatred of his son, Shogo was more in tune to what was going on in the US, more than his dad, who relied more on old world traditions... he wasn't aware that in the USA, criminals don't follow that old school stuff....that's like when, throwing in a GTA reference, when Trevor tells Franklin about "relying on the criminal element being trustworthy"

Ho > tattooed dude > professional wrestler > alien
We all agree that the reboot is garbage right?
Yes, we all do. 👍
The fact that they don't want to remaster SR1 and SR2 pisses me off.
Not even porting them to PC or whatever.

Kneel before the son of samedi...
promptly does a dance due to being filled with excessive lead.
1:33 how girls fall for me
@DamnImissed 2 the what
That's heart shattering-
That way that SR2 could be zany while at the same time having such an impactful storyline was truly great.
The shooting in this video is 10/10
I swear to mfs who had chose kill killbane instead of save shaundi goin down somewhere
that was NOT SHAUNDI
It was for the achievement and I still hate myself
@@Flamerider-vu5th I only did it as an alternate save to see the awesome air carrier battle that we otherwise wouldn't get.
Even though I did save Shaundi, killing Killbane was more OG Saints like than the whole game, you can even call it the only serious moment.
I mean
Its not like you cant replay the mission after getting one of the endings to get the other ending
Compared to saints row now to back then, holy shit I never knew it was this violent, what in the hell happened to this game franchise🤯
guess they tried to be different than GTA or such.
I guess one of the creative directors grew a conscience and toned some elements down as the series grew
@@Hillthugsta if you call adding more explicit sexual content instead of explicit violent content "growing a conscience" you may need to recheck your moral values.
@@Abandonsoyciety If you think sexual content is less moral than death and violent, you need to check yours.
@@m00ny0z3 And If you think I'm gonna stop playing SR2 you need 2 check into rehab
Mr. Sunshine's, Jessica's, and The General's are the only ones that make sense and stick. And I swear, Victor's still stands out to this day. The fact his superhuman durability is actually mentioned by Julius is why the series getting crazy at the third game didn't bug me, because it was always weird, since day one. And gotta feel bad for Ben, as the coup gave him nightmares for years, possibly PTSD too.
9:20 "nah imma cheat"😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
funny asf man
That'll teach him not to bring a sword to a gun fight
Kazuo should have just stayed in Japan, for all of his hatred of his son, Shogo was more in tune to what was going on in the US, more than his dad, who relied more on old world traditions... he wasn't aware that in the USA, criminals don't follow that old school stuff....that's like when, throwing in a GTA reference, when Trevor tells Franklin about "relying on the criminal element being trustworthy"
Holy shit, I'd say shogo's is definitely the most brutal. I mean yeah, mr. Sunshine got decapitated, but I mean, being buried alive, that's se real scary shit right there.
While it doesn't show up in this video due to being a Saints member, Carlos easily has the most brutal death of them all in SR2
@@VegetaLF7 Eh… he had the most painful death and at the end he was put down quickly. Dying in the pitch black, alone, quietly, in a tight box, being able to fully understand how screwed you are, that’s terrifying.
@@gradyparsons6678 it is.
Imagine being put into a coffin, and buried alive, slowly dying of thirst/starvation, noone to help you
Went from killing a gang leader to a fucking alien king
Like handsome jack said, don't mess with a man who has nothing left to lose at that point in their life
What if you didn’t want to go to school but Johnny said *”Get up”*
SR1 & 2. Miss those days. The customization in 1 was so good! Sad they started to take a lot of aspects out after 1.
It’s actually kinda cool that mr. Sunshine actually had some supernatural abilities
Jessica's demise made me laugh over and over again.
Tanya: P-please don't!
King: (Peter voice) Shut up meg.
10:50 the ragdoll the player does right before the boss battle with mr.sunshine always makes me laugh like a hyena.
Y'all have to look at the positives. You're alive, they're dead and y'all have the Saints number 1 fan running Ul- *gunshot*
Saints row creators like throwing the final bosses of buildings a lot
I like how Tanya was "bad b!tch" and at the end just cry "pls, don't kill meeeee". Pathetic.
I started with SR4 but now this makes me wanna play the whole series
Saint's Row 2 is a gem
I never played the first game but played the other 3.
I find it funny how Tanya thinks its a good idea to pull a gun out in front of three guys that all have their guns pointed at her.
Most craziest gangs: SR1
Most bada** gangs: SR2
Most drippiest gangs: SR3
Most WTF gangs: SR4
Most BRUH gangs: GAT OUT OF HELL
The reason we all love Gat is because of the graveyard scene
the boss was such a straight in villain in SR2 when you really think about it
Even in one he is shown to become more and more deranged and less caring about his actions.
Jessica's death was gold. And I loved how the character says (more or less, not an actual quote): I am a fan of my work, but I am sad I did not interrogate her first. Talk about feeling a connection with your character
Irony here is that the saints grew weak over time by caring for money and fame just like the devs did when making these games.
Johnny Gat's dialogue is PRICELESS.
"IT'S NOT THE LOS CARNALES IT'S JUST CARNALES"
Ok, Dex.
Why do I feel like the first game reminds me of gta 3d universe?
Yeaa bro! thank you so much for making this video! i love the bosses of this series!
can we just appreciate how fuckn brutal & ruthless Gat & Boss were in SR2???
Gotta say, I prefer Saints Row the Third the most, but SR1 and SR2 have the most impactful deaths. They knew how to take a death seriously.
6:51 the most badass looking execution
Nvm they all look badass
7:57 My grandmother could hit harder than Shogi punched Gat, and she died in 2013.
Shogo being Buried alive is my favorite cutscene in the entire Saints Row series
7:29 is the best scene in all of saints row
When Maero said see you in hell he didn't mean for the boss to take it legitimately 😃
Can’t believe we won’t get another saints row game ever again.
We will….
just not from Volition.
to be honest, Killbane's "speech" sounds like it was written by the last guy who worked on the 1st or 2nd and would have stayed for the 3rd, but would be disgusted by what the game has become...
Evo of Saints Row in thumbnail: bitch, muscle-fuck, wrestlefuck, alien
It’s so cool that the boss wins every fight even though the other person is always very skilled and usually twice his size
Especially jyunichi lol
bought both SR1 & 2 on my xbox one after 9-10 years and it’s still an absolute masterpiece.
I love when Maro says what’s this like he uncovered a puzzle 🤣
