- This video was an odd idea. Me and my pal, Berk, find ourselves talking about games all the time, and I thought that one of our discussions might make for an interesting video. So here you go, a whole hour of us chatting about Left 4 Dead, as well as plenty of other topics as we continue to go off on tangent after tangent.

One thing its just so well done, is the audio in L4D. Not only the guns and zombies, it's just everything. Especially the music

To me it felt like the zombie trend started to die around 2010 (at least in gaming) so a L4D3 was only going to add to that fatigue by the time it came out. It wouldn't have gone out on a high note.
That said, I personally enjoyed L4D1 and 2 despite not being a fan of zombie games. I mainly enjoyed the online experience. There was room for improvement though, the protagonists were all... fine but I felt there could have been more variety. I don't mean having more than 4 players, just more than 4 characters to choose from. I personally couldn't relate to any of the protagonists on offer in either game. I get that relatability wasn't really the point but it would have been nice to mix and match different survivors, if even for just unique dialogue trees.
A gameplay idea I thought would have made the series better wwould be a DnD style mode where a fifth player would act as a dungeon master and essentially play a real-time strategy game against the 4 survivors. Your job would be to stop them from completing the level using your resources (tanks, witches, hordes etc) to ambush the players in specific locations. I think that could have breathed life into a third game.
The best games are simply a labor of love.

man i cannot belive yall dissed the mega bloks halo game. As a extreme halo fan and halo mega collector i am severely offended. that game could have been lego star wars: halo edition.
Absolute gold that got cancelled. Halo mega is still going STRONG. stronger than the games. We get crazy lore figures. They even made a figure for an ODST character that only existed in a LIVE ACTION TRAILER. DONT DISRESPECT THE HALO MEGA GAME.

I dont agree. I think Valve can absolutely make a Left4Dead 3.
But i agree with you that they dont NEED to.
But basically if they want to, all they have to do is just keep everything they have from leftdead 2
Dont add modern shit like ADS and sprint etc. etc.
But give it modern graphics like back4blood has.
4 new characters that really flesh well together.
Some new maps and that's it. Itll be fine.

What abouttttt L4D2 remaster? Just a port to the new consoles. Slight graphics update. And any neat maps or skins that were made by the PC modders with thier permission.
