  • This firework only exists of 12 modules. The modules are easy to make. Puttting them together is difficult; especially the two last parts!!!
    The design is by Yami Yamauchi

    I successfully did it!!! WOO! Took me a long time to finish folding all the modules. Anyway, the origami is so nice, I'm going to give it to my teacher on Teacher's Day and I'll make another one with perfect squares from To-Do Notes for my Mom. Thanks for the Tutorial.

    Just finished this in an hour. For those having trouble with the end, try to get the bottoms where you fold the modules facing up. It helps you see where to fold it up without ripping your paper. Hope this helps some of you lol :)

    Did it! Last part was the hardest lol I was a bit too ambitious doing it with 6.5 x 6.5 paper
    Oh! And guys, try it with 12 colours, it looks awesome especially if they blend. Actually the colour you cover first disappears so you could use 11 colours and one doubled as a starter.
    And some tips for people using small paper, use a larger number of units, I tried 12 but it's quite difficult, so I'll try doubling the number lol

      Tommy Thai how do you did it ad the enddddd

  • @dutchpapergirl
    @dutchpapergirl  11 лет назад +1

    Putting together works exactly the same as putting together the other parts. What makes it difficult, is you can not see what to do and the paper wants to go the opposite way...
    Don't give up. Leave it for a day and try again tomorrow... :)

  • @anne-sophielaroche1106
    @anne-sophielaroche1106 11 лет назад

    I managed! It is tricky indeed.
    A couple of tips :
    . make sure you don't get mixed up when you build it. At some point I was going the wrong way, I had to undo it and start again.
    . when locking the last bits together, you might need to "unravel" the first bit you did right at the beginning to fold it all in correctly.
    Good luck everybody! And Thanks for the video :)

  • @webberfolds
    @webberfolds 11 лет назад

    Yes it's possible with any length times width proportions as long as the paper isn't too thick and it has to fold well. The final part is reasonably hard but they have to go in a loop so each side of each unit is connected to another unit. Don't trust the folding to hold it together when attempting to make a loop too much but sort of guide it. What I remember doing at that stage is making one hand make sure the previous connections didn't fall apart and the other hand making the new connection..

  • @dutchpapergirl
    @dutchpapergirl  12 лет назад

    @buckweed226 it does not matter which parts you put together. You put them together in the same way. So if you can manage the first and second part, you can do them all...

  • @laurissachan8505

    This was easy in my opinion. After connecting all the pieces, I added bits of tape to hold them together. I made it out of 3" origami paper. I'm using it as a small Christmas present :D

    Nice origami. The most difficult part is the last section, which you did not really show it to us. I almost destroy the whole thing trying to attach the last to the first. It was interesting and don't ask me how to do it. I don't think I can do it again... :-)

    @SuperEzzy333 if you get really stuck dont do the last part and do that method to interlock it without interlocking anything think glue one side and stick it the other then wait till glue is dry and it works the same

  • @dutchpapergirl
    @dutchpapergirl  13 лет назад

    @SuperEzzy333 As far as I know it works the same as putting the otjher partrs together. Only because the paper wants to go the other way it is more difficult...
