I remember watching this video when I was 8 years old and thinking that it was near-impossibble for me to fold it at the time. Fast forward to 4 years later and I just finished folding kusudama and it was the most complex origami I have ever folded. It look great
Hello 1petiteSorciere this is a great tutorial, I have made 2 models already. Thankyou for sharing with us how you make these amazing things, please keep them coming 🐛
Very beautiful this kusudama. That the flowersopens and closes is a lovely fun which remunerates the hard work with the 90pcs. I really liked, thanks for uploading
Hai mmm.... I not English speaking small small English I speak Ok. I India girl. My name Sabah. My school pokram maktha maths steel model. I make your this Origami 🌼. And I am Frist. So I Very happy. And very nice your this video 🖐️🖐️🖐️🖐️🖐️🖐️🖐️🖐️
twvial ' I try not to glue any modular origami. Although a purist would say that modular origami is cheating as it's not a single piece of paper and sometimes it's not folded from squares.
Thanks me and my sister did this for a big sister little sister bond thing and we got along great.. it was funny to see her get frustrated at the beginning LMBO!!! :) next time can u speak tho it was a little confusing
Well, I waisted 65 out of 90, seams like I enjoy wasting my time, folding 90 identical simple but tiresome detales. Now I'll have to repeat it again 65 times mooooore. Idiot. Why didn't I watch the video again when I started to glue the b*tches together? But I'll do it, so far it's the most interesting ball I had to put together, especially for kids. Thanks to author for greatest tutoreal!
god dammit i spent so long trying to rig these together without glue lol. as it turns out you can actually get the first step (attaching 5 to each other as shown in the video) to work without any glue, and what you have to do is unfold the little flap, push it inside the next unit's flap, and fold the other unit's flap back down over it so they sort of mesh together. however when you have to attach the 5-unit pieces to the central 10-unit thing trying to do that is almost impossible. i managed to attach _one_ which took 30 minutes of fidgeting then i was like ok so this definitely isn't how this is supposed to be done. then i find out the person used glue but just didn't show it in the video. this is criminal.
i have no idea how this person assembled this (pop up star)without it falling apart, i would get to 4:25 and if i breathed hard enough it would fall apart, i know your not meant to use glue or tape, but i would definitly recommend using bits of double sided tape, i have done many complicated modular origami, this was one of the hardest because i couldn't get it to stay together, GOOD LUCK
i finally finished THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOUR VIDEO WAS PERFECTLY EASY TO UNDERSTAN, REALLY THANK YOU SO MUCH.
i just finished this like just now. it was a huge waste of my time and postits, but i’m super proud to say i did this. it took like 10+ hrs. i recommend getting some glue to hold the paper together when assembling it
Took me about 3 days to make this thing when folding practically non-stop XD To those of you attempting it.. I *highly* recommend using glue. Yes it sucks "because it's not origami any more" but think about it... will anyone ever really know? :3 Or care, for that matter. Be patient, the result is worth it o/ Goodluck~
Yeah it does take a lot of time because half the time a kusadama origami takes only like 25 pieces of paper while this one take 90 PIECES!! But id suggest doing it if your class is boring and you need to past time
I'm working on mine still, I'm using stick notes, but the modules don't stay together so i decided to put tap across where every piece interlocks, it really helps
Using glue or scissors for origami is taboo, and also if it relies on glue to stay together it is no longer origami and is just a paper creation. But it's still awesome.
Modular origami has been around since the 1700s that they know of but using glue 2 sided tape or any other adhesive makes it not origami then it just making stuff with paper but this one is really cool so i going to make it using 2 sided tape and figure out a way to make it that u only need paper and dont have to cheat but if u going to use adhesive use small pieces of 2 sided tape u will only know it is there beacuse u put it there and it sticks right away
Thank you for making such a lovely, easy to follow tutorial! I would love to use this construction in a fundraiser. Can someone please tell me who created this particular model?
Hello,it´s very surprising and beautiful, can you tell me what sort of paper you use for this special kusudama and how many gram it need to get assembled. Thanks a lot for your tutorial and your answer.
It's not about how long will you finish it, It's about patience and passion on what you are doing. If you love origami then you will find it easy.
Yes

sunmarsh
sunmarsh ดอกไม้กระอาบสา
sunmarsh um it took me 4 days 😂
Well easier than the other ones coz they kept on playing it really quickly so thanks x
This comment is for people who are saying this is not origami actually it is and it is called a modular origami where you can glue. Peace
Ayisha Chua some modular origami don't need glue..unless it pisses you off
twvial ' I try not to glue any modular origami. Although a purist would say that modular origami is cheating as it's not a single piece of paper and sometimes it's not folded from squares.
Guys, u dont need glue, just when u crease da folds make it sharp (run yr nail along it) it works. IT IS NOT ORIGAMI IF U USE GLUE!!!
yeah your right
You can use tape as well
oh thank you :-)) it makes me really happy !
Thanks me and my sister did this for a big sister little sister bond thing and we got along great.. it was funny to see her get frustrated at the beginning LMBO!!! :) next time can u speak tho it was a little confusing

EXCELENTE EXPLICACION....Y HERMOSAS MANOS....JEJEJE
Its been 4 hours and I've made 30 out of 90 units.... great. 😑😞😓
Mr Sebe is a cooli0 RUclipsr don’t do them all in one cause u’ll get bored quickly like spread them out a few here a few there
I did this in my online classes, 10 each day, maybe more. (U got this)
Thanks for this demonstration its a truly amazing model, just finished making my third
@aasya choprai’d say it takes maybe a good 3+ hours to finish the 90 pieces but the rest doesnt take that long.
Super wonderful 👌👌👌👍👍😊😊😊😊
I made the pieces already, but they won't stay together.... I'm going to forget about those and make new ones. Thank you for the video, by the way!!
You may consider it cheating, but I found that glue stick helps.
Nep the description said u need glue
It can be tape or glue, whichever one works best
god dammit i spent so long trying to rig these together without glue lol. as it turns out you can actually get the first step (attaching 5 to each other as shown in the video) to work without any glue, and what you have to do is unfold the little flap, push it inside the next unit's flap, and fold the other unit's flap back down over it so they sort of mesh together. however when you have to attach the 5-unit pieces to the central 10-unit thing trying to do that is almost impossible. i managed to attach _one_ which took 30 minutes of fidgeting then i was like ok so this definitely isn't how this is supposed to be done. then i find out the person used glue but just didn't show it in the video. this is criminal.

... ur acctually suppost to use glue
I loved the video tutorial and can’t wait to make it!
Ooh, it's a (regular) dodecahedron with the buds being pentagonal pyramids fixed onto the dodecahedron's sides, that's neat.
woow * --- * esta súper genial me gusto como lo explica hace mucho estoy buscando como se hacia y ningún vídeo explica a si
wot
This is the best video on this I've yet seen. Good work!
I've made it, yeaah ! 7 freaking hours but it's so worth it !

Good tutorial tho
90 PIECES OF PAPER?!?!
C'étais facile de faire les 90
Or skicky notes
you’re not a true fan of origami
450 is what you should be scared of
90 pieces of paper is nothing i love doing 3d origami and once i remember i made 8500 peaces 🤧

A great model..throughly enjoyed making this. Thank you for the vedio and instructions.
Omg one module looks like it takes so much time!
Yeah it does take a lot of time because half the time a kusadama origami takes only like 25 pieces of paper while this one take 90 PIECES!! But id suggest doing it if your class is boring and you need to past time
on a large sheet yes.
with small sheets, it may be difficult :-))
depends on the size of your paper
Whats the cm
Which type of paper did you use
Great model! Does it matter if i use bigger paper
I'm working on mine still, I'm using stick notes, but the modules don't stay together so i decided to put tap across where every piece interlocks, it really helps
Wow.... it look like blooming when you open it
Using glue or scissors for origami is taboo, and also if it relies on glue to stay together it is no longer origami and is just a paper creation. But it's still awesome.
I found regular post it notes and a glue stick worked best for this. The glue stick vs super glue or other glues really made all the difference.
You need glue guys! Though I'm pretty sure using glue in origami is frowned upon. But hey, they tutorial said so. :))
Nice art work
Ich habe schon viele verschiedene Arten von Sterne gefaltet, aber dieses ist sehr schön und interessant, versuche nach zu basteln👍 Liebe grüße
