I've made a little swan, a heart that opens to reveal a message inside, a TINY book, it's like a prop for dolls, a tiny bin, which is also like a Barbie Doll prop, a shifting ninja star and I will make this rose tomorrow.. The hardest thing I've made so far is actually the bin, it was SOO hard XD. Your videos are great, I'm new to making origami and your videos have helped alot!!!!
You take the corners and slide them open. If you take a single piece, you’ll see how it folds if you push the two triangles inward. Be careful not to rip the delicate edges by pushing the bottom corner first and adjusting the petals from the inside. :-)
im not new to origami but im definitely not very good! but these instructions were incredibly clear! i was able to make this with ease! i totally recommend this to everyone to try!

He said he wanted to show me something so he went to his room and brought back a box. While showing me the stuff inside I saw the flower and asked him why he still has it he responded saying whats in the box is full of things he finds special. Can’t believe they guy had kept the flower for 6 years

Surprisingly easy! I got a rose on my first try, did it wish thicker paper though, so it was a bit difficult to fold at times. Looks lovely though, wishing I'd chosen a more saturated pink ;w;

side notes: 1) it is definitely best to use double-sided origami paper.... 2) pretty sure it looks cuter to use 10cm x 10cm instead of 17.5cm x 17.5cm... Thank you for the tutorial tho!
I did it and it turned out great! I feel like pointing out those harder folds and going slower on them would have helped a bit more, but overall I enjoyed the tutorial and my paper rose!
For one-sided/two tone paper, make sure to start on the colored side! Edit: coming back to this video about 10 months later and this self tip has been useful

Here is a tip: It will help you in the long run if you fold the first 4 folding steps ( folding it in half 2 times) more than once it will make it easier to do the harder folds. Good luck.

Took me a few day cus I don’t have enough papers so I have to go to the store to by A4 papers because my local store DOESN’T sell origami papers so I have to cut the A4 papers myself which the papers is really thicc so I can’t turn the box into the flower so I have to order some origami online which that took like 2 days to arrive and at that point I already forgot how to fold it so I have to rewatch this then finally I make a brown flower (the origami papers I ordered don’t have enough pink or red color for this)

Don’t use post-it notes, it makes it a lot harder, learn that after spending 30+ minutes on this😗
Carefully use an eraser to get rid of the sticky stuff, that’s what I do
