Was this before or after you did the MiniDSP with REW + MSO? Wondering if that process yielded good results with different subs, or if after that entire process you decided that 1 sub was still better.

After talking to a few people in the field, they said, I should have never tried to match SB1000 with M&K5100. A single M&K5100 sounds better and that is what I am still using.

You thought different subwoofers would match? Seriously?

Tried with just 4xSB1000 first, then tested with MX5100 + 2x SB1000. MX5100 is a better sub and is not on sale anymore.
If anyone has an MX5100, I can sell mine so they have a pair. It is too heavy for me.

Different subs can indeed match if you know what you are doing. I would have suggested that you moved one sub to the back and adjusted phase and time alignment.
