    Is there no springs to absorb shock in the clutch plate? I have a 2018 Elantra SE with a 2.0L and 6-speed manual trans. I am starting to hear a slight "tinney" rattle noise when accelerating moderately or coasting that will stop immediately if I depress the clutch petal. No performance issues at all, everything works just fine, but I want to try and figure out what it is before something bad happens! Thanks for this video!

      That could be the release bearing or the the springs in the clutch plate.

    I got excited when I saw this. Unfortunately I have the DCT. Miles are starting to rack up, and I'm starting to notice a little more slippage.

      Unfortunately if you buy this parts its gonna be individual from the dealer, 41421-32AA1, 41300-32130, 41100-32130. Hope that helps

      The best you can do use what the brand uses, in your case get something from kia rio to prevent complications.

    Hi it says you are a Hyundai technician I hope you can answer my question ,, I have 2018 Tucson it won’t crank when I press the start button but I can get it to start by jumping the starter relay in the fuse box under the hood ,, I took it in to get checked out at the Hyundai dealer the technician said it was the smart key module that’s bad they asked for 550 bucks to replace ,, part alone 446 bucks .
    I found a used one for 40 bucks which I can install my self but my question is this ,,,,, if I install it do I need to get it programmed by the dealer or there is no need to program it ?

    • @hyundaitech
      @hyundaitech  Год назад +1

      Yes you need to program the new module, like your new key. If you jump it maybe theres a circuit issue on the junction box? I have some cases that theres some chewed wires under the fusebox and for some reason i always find it on the tucsons.

    Sir how can you adjust clutch? The biting point is too high, replaced the clutch recently.

    • @hyundaitech
      @hyundaitech  Год назад +1

      Im not too sure if theres adjustment on a manual transmission, what you can do is try to bleed the slave cylinder make sure theres no air in the system.

    Why removing the subframe? It can pass without doing that

      Why you watching a how to video if you know how it's done?

    • @evansjean
      @evansjean 8 месяцев назад +1

      Sometime you learn new trick by watching someone doing it just because you know how to do it doesn’t mean you can’t learn something new by watching someone else doing it

    Is this repair being part of P0731 code issue?

    • @hyundaitech
      @hyundaitech  5 месяцев назад

      P0731 is a automatic transmission code, im guessing that you have a cvt transmission and most likely you need new transmission.

    Not replacing the flywheel? Does it not need to be replaced?

    • @hyundaitech
      @hyundaitech  Год назад +1

      Depends, if flywheel still okay visually i dont replace it, unless theres a obvious signs of cracking or damage on it

    Is this the same for the n?

    • @hyundaitech
      @hyundaitech  Год назад +1

      For the N im not too sure, but should be almost the same, maybe the difference is the elsd part of the transmission.

    Recently changed mine on a 2017 elantra sport and now it doesnt hold a consistent idle bouncing between 630-650. Sounds like it has a lumpy cam lol
